Unable to see DB13 and ST04 logs in the system.

We are unable to see the DB13 logs in our SAP system. The same is happening while trying to look into the ST04 logs for Database Message Logs. In both the cases we find the same kind of log:

SAP is running on Varitas cluster on two different nodes. One node is having SAP services and the another one Oracle services on it. Since the last week when we shifted the Oracle services from one node to another for monthly maintenace work, we are facing this problem.
Our system details are:
SAP 46C (kernel 46D_EXT) 32 bit
SuSe Linux 2.6.5-7 64 bit
Oracle 9.2.0.6.0

ORA-1653 (unable to extend table) and ORA-1654 (unable to extend index)

We recently installed 12c.r1 and have it running now form some three weeks. About 100 assets currently in it.
When trying to add a new discovery profile a received an error message from the BUI, in the cacao log from the EC i found a lot java exceptions caused (probably by : Internal Exception: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01653: unable to extend table OC.PERSISTENTALERT by 8 in tablespace OC_DEFAULT_TS)
When looking at the alert log from the database i found its full with ORA-1653 and ORA-1654 messages; (and still those errors are being put in the alert logfile on a continues basis.)

Only thing i could think of would be a space issue in the filesystem. But there's still some 15G of free space available for the DB to extend.

Sorry for the late response (wasn't in the office last week)
I'v extended the zpool with additional LUN's , now there is 168GB of free space (total DB size now 42GB) so, efficient free space should be available. After a restart of the DB unfortunately again the alert file is flooded with ORA-1653 / 64 messages on a continues basis;

I'm no DBA, and the OPCenter installation is default 'out-of-the-box' on a new system. Only running for a month now with about 100 assets.

I have lost the ability to see table statistics when I click on the table. I use to be able to click on the table name under the connection window and would get a display of The columns, data, constraints, index,dependencies etc..... Now It does not seem to work any more I tried preferences but I don't seem to be able to change the behavior back to the way it was any suggestions.

I upgraded to 1.2 and it solved the problem. I would however love to know the settings that control this display.

I am not aware of any tool, but you can use this query below to build your own. I use it to build a tree of tables showing their relationships.

Acrobat v 9 pro unable to see review & comments button

Using standard acrobat 5 SDK we have build an extension plugin for loading annotations when opening a document in IE browser, and similarly on click of save it stores the annotations back. This works fine with acrobat 6.0 pro but in 8 and 9 its not working. In 9.0, we do not see the review & comments when we open the plugin in IE. But we are able to open existing annotations and edit existing comments. We need to know what API changes are done between 6 and 8. If any of the 5.x SDK has been desupported and hwo do we get the comments button comeup in IE.

"Row Cache Spill-Over" oddity when same view bound to a table and button

I have default values for jbo.pers.max.active.nodes=30 and jbo.pers.max.rows.per.node = 70, thus I can avoid spill over if my view has to return less than 70*30=2100 rows. But here is exception from that:
Say for example emp(in scott/tiger schema) table has 1090 records (which is less than 2100 but 1090*2=2180>2100). In my BC4J project it has corresponding emp entity and empView viewobject based solely on the emp entity. I created JClient empty form using wisard where I placed a JTable bound to the empView and a Jbutton with action binding <<commit>> bount to the same empView. The bindings look as following:

But if I remove the action binding from the button the frame launches as should.
As I think the number of records are doubled (as many times as the binding is used in ActionBinding) because I tested it with records count 1000 (less than half of the 70*30) and it worked perfectly.
I use JDeveloper 9.0.3.1 on Windows 2000 Platform.
What is problem? I thought it was prefferible not to get another 'small' view object to use in actionbinding but it turns into spill-over.
And one more question what for the actionbinding needs viewobjectname argument for commit and rollback actions? It commits and rollsback the whole transaction not only the changes in specific viewobject.

The JUActionBinding is not only for commiting. You can also do things like ACTION_NEXT and ACTION_PREVIOUS. These actions navigate the RowIterator which happens to be inside a ViewObject. Therefore the name.

Unable to see tables or views in DataSource definition

Hello,
I have configured and tested my Gateway. I am able to create a data source to the AdventureWorksDW2012 sample database and store the credentials. However I can't see any tables or views to select. I checked the data
types and table restrictions and they don't not appear to be the culprit. Will you help me be able to see the tables/views? I have tried with both SQL Server native and OLEDB protocols. I am using a sql server database account
over HTTP.

Unable to see tables in forms with new username

I have created a new user test1 assigned to the role that provides privilege for objects. Originally I created my database objects using username ktb (public synonyms and grants have been provided). Logging into SQL*Plus as test1 I can see and access the ktb tables/objects. However, I cannot see these tables from Forms Builder when logging in as test1, whereas I can as ktb. Is there something I am missing?

If you created Oracle connection, which user did you use ? Did you try SYSTEM user for example?
If you don't see even your connection has been created with SYSTEM user or as SYSDBA, try to do that:

C:\Documents and Settings\<your user account>\Application Data\SQL Developer\system1.5.4.59.40\o.jdeveloper.db.connection.11.1.1.0.22.49.48

Data gets committed.
Now I design a report based on the above. The report contains a main frame called M_1. This is just an enclosure to keep repeating frame and fields under M_1.
A repeating frame is also created. When the repeating frame is created, the property "Max records per page" is set to "5" such that I can display above 14 records into 3 pages.
I compile it and it compiles successfully. However when I run the report I only see 5 records on 1st page. The remaining pages do not appear at all. Do you think I am doing anything wrong here?
Vertical elasticity property of repeating frame is set to "variable" and when I change it to "expand", it still does not make any difference (I wish I could attach the report in this thread :-( )

Unable to see responsbilities and Forms in Spanish

Hi Group,
We are testing "Load Balancing" through two nodes, this application is configured to use two languages (US and ESA), everything is working as expected, just one issue with the "ESA" language, when we click on connection button using Spanish language, the responsbilities are listed in english instead of Spanish, also when we get into the application using Spanish language everything is displayed in English.
I have one cloned environment without all the configuration for load balancing (patches, etc.) and everything is working smoothly.
I have executed everything on both web servers (JAR's generation, Maintain Multilingual Tables, Forms compilation for both languages), but we are still getting the same problem.
Any advice or help will be appreciated.

Is the Spanish language defined properly in FND_LANGUAGES table (as installed language)?
