Unable to select confirmed bank account as payment method

 Customer service has been no help (not a surprise from what I read here). Have been paying my rent using confirmed bank account for almost a year. Suddenly, the only options I have are PayPal credit or my Visa debit card. This latter is linked to the same confirmed bank account but carries, of course, a $36.55 fee. Why has the option to continue using my confiemd bank account been removed? Thanks in advance for your time.

Thanks for reaching out to us here! We're sorry to hear about the trouble completing your payment using your bank account. Each time you make a payment from your PayPal account it goes through a series of filters to determine how much potential risk may be involved with that particular payment. If the system deems a transaction to be high risk then it may limit the funding options that are available or block the payment all together from going through. It sounds like this is what you may be running into here.
These filters are in place to help protect you from possible transactions occurring from your account by an unauthorized third party, or in some instances from potentially bad sellers. They look at things like payment history, log in location, and computer ID to help protect you. From time to time though we may come across a false positive where a legitimate transaction is being blocked.
Another thing that could be causing this is the number of payments currently processing from the bank account. If there are a lot of payments pending through the bank that have not completed yet, the system may limit the ability to fund further transactions using this account until some of these transactions have completed.

    You can do that but please read the below.
    1. You have the House bank of "SBI' and making the online payment to few of your vendors.
    2. The payment method is T (Bank transfer)
    3. You would need to maintain the Payment method "T" in all those vednor masters.
    4. You need to have  invoices raised for those vendors who are using online payment.
    5. F110 - APP : Parameters: You need to specify the Company code, Payment method and next due date
    6. List of those vendors who are overdue and have the facility of Online payment.
    7. Payment/Media: You need to configure a variant with Hose bank, Account ID , Payment method, and Printing para,meters.
    8. Once you run this, if you are using the EDI-IDOC procedure, this will send an online message to SBI in order to process the payments of Different Vendors with Different banks.
    So, one go......SBI making the payment to diffrent banks pertaining to different Vendors

  • DRQ: Allow choosing correct Business Partner bank account in Payment Wizard

    This is a DRQ about the Payment process.
    It concerns the "Payment Wizard" functionality (Menu "Banking --> Payment Wizard") and the "manual outgoing payments" creation (Menu "Banking --> Outgoing Payment --> Outgoing payment").
    Version : 2007A SP00 PL38
    Description of requirements :
    In the current version of SBO ( 2007 SP00 PL38 ) when we create an outgoing payment with bank transfer as Payment method (manually or with the Payment Wizard), it is not possible to specify the Supplier "bank account" to use. The default bank account defined in the Supplier Master Data is automatically chosen by SAP B1.
    We can create several bank accounts in the Supplier Master Data, but it is not possible to use the non-default ones in the outgoing payments creation.
    Business needs:
    Some of our SAP B1 customers get suppliers with several bank accounts. They use the "Payment Engine" to generate "bank file" for bank transfer and forward the bank files to their banks and require to choose the correct bank accounts to use to pay each documents.
    The aim of the Payment Wizard is to help the SAP B1 customers to create regularly and automatically some outgoing payments.
    And when the Payment Wizard is run with several documents to pay on different supplier bank accounts for (for example AP Invoices to pay on different bank accounts for the same supplier), it does not work correctly because the bank account which is used in the "bank file" created at Step 9 of the "Payment Wizard" (by clicking the "Bank File" button added by the Payment Engine) is the default one.
    Current Workaround:
    To generate correct bank files, the SAP B1 user has to run several times the "Payment Wizard", modifying each times the default bank account of the supplier. The result is the creation of several "bank files"...
    and an important loss of time !
    Proposed solution:
    In the Payment Wizard, in Step 6/9, add a column which allow the user choosing the bank account (for example in a "choose from list" which display the existing bank accounts of the corresponding supplier) for each document to pay.
    The supplier default account is proposed by default but can be changed for each line.
    This column should be deactivated for other payment method than "Bank Transfer".
    This functionality should be interesting for manual outgoing payment because it should allow choosing the supplier bank account to pay on and recording this bank account information in the manual outgoing payment. In that way it will be possible to print the bak account information on the printed forms (PLD) we can print and send by fax to the bank.

    I have encountered the same problem: The payment wizard always suggests the supplier's standard bank account, irrespective of the information entered on the logistics tab in the pay to field of the AP Invoice. Unlike the solution you proposed (choose from list), I would prefer the payment wizard to automatically select the bank entered in the pay to field of the AP Invoice.

    Hi Kumar,
    You will have to configure the House Bank with T Code FI12 and further mention the payment method in FBZP. You will have to select one of the  follwing as payment method, check/transfer/postal giro transfer/bill of exchange. Though check (C) is widely used.

    Good Morning.
    I have a scenario where a Vendor with Multiple bank accounts in the vendor master
    Bank account 1 - HSBC UK
    Bank account 2 - RBS UK
    Bank account 3 - Bank of America US
    I need to make a payment for a purchase made from US and he chooses the payment to be made directly to the BOA US account. when running the payment run, can i select the bank account to which the outgoing payment is sent to? using Automatic payment program or manual outgoing payment?

    Hi Gowrishankar,
    You can change the house bank while runinng the Payment Program in F110.
    Please follow the below steps for your requirement.
    F110 --> give the parameters & save. >  click on Edit Proposal> Double click on vendor ( it will give you the due invoices tobe paid) --> double click on the invoice document which you want to pay in BOA US > Click on Reallocate button> give payment menthod , House bank , account ID and save.
    The next subsequent steps are normal.

    As per the error you have not yet assigned your GL account for the particular Bank Account.
    For example while giving payment by Cheque. Method is Cheque, GL account is Outgoing account right.
    The entry would be
    Cheque Issued Out Ac Dr.
    To Main Bank Ac Cr.
    You hv to assign both GL Account.
    Please check Assign accounts to account symbols area.

    For e.g For ICICI bank we have account in 3 different branch and depends on requirement we make payment for different bank.

    We have defined cheque lot no,. for all the 3

    Lot No. 3 - for  58888              700001 - 700100
    While selecting for payment it takes Lot 1 for first account it is working fine, if we select lot 2 or 3 we get following error message

    I have created a new bank account for an existing House bank (in trans. fi12)
    When we run the payment program F110, the wrong bank account is mentioned in the DME file.
    It shows the first one on the list and not the last one.
    How can I create a DME file with the new bank account?

    When I go in transaction FBZP, and drill down to Bank accounts, I only find the first bank account ID (which is the wrong one).

  • Selecting alternative Bank account in Purchase invoice is not working

    Hello experts
    When adding a particular purchase invoice, I select an alternative bank account for this vendor on Logistics tab. But when generating payment file for this invoice through Payment Engine, the bank account that can be seen on the file is the standard one for this vendor, so selecting an alternative Bank account in the invoice doesn't seem to have any effect on payment file. Do I have to consider something else?

    Thanks for the update. But by checking it, I haven't been able to find anything regarding vendor bank account selection on invoice, or about paying an invoice to vendor secondary bank account.
    Also I have done some testing, and the only way I have found so far to get a vendor invoice paid in the secondary bank account is to set this secondary bank account as the default bank account just before use Payment Wizard and Payment Engine. But this is a poor workaround and I guess there should be a way to make work properly the "Pay to Bank" functionality in invoice.

    I posted one payment run with one accout. when i am trying payment run for two accounts,in the Edit proposal reallocate tab I tried to assign two accounts for two invoices each one, but system is not allowing to assingn the 2nd bank account in the Vendor invoice. I assign this bak account in the Vedor master also. Please help

    Hi,
    If you are trying to post for a single payment method to different account id's for the same currency, then system wont allow this combination.
    You need to check the same in FBZP under Bank determination.
    Make sure, if payment method is same and you need to post to different account ids then the second account id must have a different currency.
    This is a basic requirement from SAP side.
