Unable to send email at hotels and at Starbucks
Mac mail is unable to send email at some hotels and at WiFi locations such as Starbucks. I followed the guidelines on this problem, cannot find any other error and have not been able to fix this problem
I use tmobile hotspot at Starbucks and I connect via the hotels internet connections, whether wireless or wired. My corporate email works just fine, just not mac mail. Mac mail works when I am at IBM offices or my corporate office and other business networks.

I have set up two email accounts on my iphone4, one with tiscali, my ISP, and the other on gmail. I am able to receive emails on both accounts, and can send emails from my gmail account, but am "Unable to Send Email" from my tiscali (talktalk) account. I get the error message "A copy has been placed in your Outbox. The sender address "name"@tiscali.co.uk was rejected by the server".

Email seems to be sent, but it doesn't arrive. No 'unable to send' message, sent items and draft folders are empty. The mail disappears. I tried to fully turn off the iPad and have it restart. But it doesn't go off. I keep seeing the small white 'turning wheel' untill the battery is gone. After that, it works again (and so does the e-mail). This happens about every week. What can I do?

Anyway, as I mentioned, I don't use any sync-able email, just a very plain-jane POP email provider. iSync reports no devices and has nothing in its log, which matches my never having installed anything in need of syncing.
The thing is, if Mail says its sending something when nothing was ever sent, that's a largish bug whether it is actually sending something or isn't, and there isn't really enough info here to know which of those are the case. Maybe Mail just displays "Sending" because an attempt to do something reasonable is timing out, maybe it does an innocuous and normal POP thing using very confusing nomenclature, or maybe it's really trying to send something which has a wrong flag or something. There isn't really enough info to know what is going on, so I was hoping someone could identify the symptoms. -
Since yesterday I'm unable to send emails on any of my Apple devices. The revert is that I have exceeded the maximum number of emails per day, but I had only sent out 24 with no bulk emailing - (much less than 1000 recipients as per the website) and I'm STILL not able to send emails. Any advice on how to solve this?

I just upgraded to an i5 and am unable to send emails. I can receive them however every time I try to send an email I get an error message saying my username and or password is incorrect. My settings are exactly the same as they were on my old phone... Any ideas?

Recently, I have become unable to send emails from my comcast email account. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the account, but get an error (Cannot send. Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Unable to send email from content server
Hi,
I have a requirement of sending the notification email to user from the stellent when he subscribe to it.To test it i logged in to content server as sysadmin.

You have to request you Network team to add the ip address of the machine where you have installed content server to your Exchange Server.

IPhone 6 is unable to send email because the sender address was rejected by the server

We have a procedure use utl_smtp in 10g (10.0.4). we got this msg (Unable to send Email: ORA-29279: SMTP permanent error: 501 Syntax error in arguments) when send e-mail to another mail box (internal),
but we use the same procedure running in 10g(10.03) it works perfectly. Is Oracle 10g(10.0.4 vs. 10.0.3) causing this issue ? Can someone shed some lights on my head ? Thx.We found what is wrong about this.
The problem is in CC we had a e-mail address has one space like this test [email protected] so UTL_smtp doesn't like this kind format then we recreated a new e-mail address without space and it works fine. -

You have an option set that is incorrect I'm afraid.
In the Account properties, have a look at the Advanced tab, and make sure that the first option (This server requires a secure conection) is not ticked.
