Tried to send an mp3 file several times and kept getting this message. The file was only 11 mg.

Your message couldn't be sent because a server error occurred. To send this message,please delete the current attachment,then re-attach.

Many mail servers cap their message sending or receiving at 4MB. If you are sending your own work that you want distributed by someone else, check with your internet provider if they can temporarily raise that restriction and the recipient's mail server can temporarily raise those restrictions. Better would be for both of you to be able to access a webhosting site to share the material and use some FTP programs to send the file to each other. If it is an MPEG-3 of a commercial CD's music, we can't help you as such distribution is illegal.

Issues with sending and receiving MMS
You will need these to send and receive MMS:
- An iPhone 3G or later.
- iOS 3.1 or later.
- A cellular data connection. MMS isn't available if you are using only Wi-Fi.

7. Back up and restore your iPhone as new.

10. Contact your carrier to verify that there are no blocks or filters placed on your wireless account preventing you from sending SMS.

I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. Unable to send pictures with mail from iPhoto

Since yesterday i cannot use iPhoto to send pictures with mail, it just does not open a new mesage in mail. can you help me please? have done cleaning tasks and repeired permissions already. thank you.

Have you deleted the iPhoto Preference file - A good general step for strange issues is to renew the iPhoto preference file - quit iPhoto and go to "your user name" ==> library ==> preferences ==> com.apple.iPhoto.plist and trash it - launch iPhoto which creates a fresh new default preference file and reset any personal preferences you have changed and if you have moved the iPhoto library repoint to it. I need to send my .mp3 files throw a server but it stays in stuck in out.write(lenght), any suggestions for another type of way to do this...
Other files are sent fine, .pdf, .txt, .doc... i might be the size but how to solve it...

If you're blocking in the write() it means the reader is slow reading. Using the BufferedOutputStream may fix this.

Need troubleshooting

I have the same thing, same issues. Just came from Colorado using my iPad extensively with no problems.
Get back home, there is an update on my home computer for Airport Extreme to 7.5.2 which I updated. Also updates for iPad for 4.3.4 and now last night 4.3.5.
Still does not work. I have not taken the iPad to another network locally, but my understanding is that it is not a problem with the iPad but with Airport Extreme's update. I have done all the resets, restarts, and turning on and off Wifi on the iPad and that does not work.
I would have to assume Apple is working on it. Very frustrating since I am on my Mac Pro, iPhone 4, and other things and no problem.

Exporting to QT on Keynote with embedded narration or audio files doesn't work

When I create a Keynote presentation, I often publish them for viewing after the presenttion. I have been making presentations for a long time and never had luck with Keynote using narration. When you edit a narration, it first "appears" to erase everything from the point you choose to edit forward.   However, when you finalize the presentation and export to QT as a movie (yes the edits sound fine when you are using keynote itself) EVERY PREVIOUSLY RECORDED TAKE on each slide will playback at the same time making the audio incomprehensible. I'm using a 2013 2.3 GHz quad core i7 with 16 GB DDR3 and the newest Keynote 6.01 2013.   Narration has NEVER worked properly on any previous version, and still doesn't.
I had some advice to try recording QT audio and adding to the slide. Now, when recording to Quicktime, it does embed it, but in recording the presentation, it either doubles up the audio giving a strange echo or does the same thing if you ever edit the presentation.
Keynote is simply a buggy inferior product for use in recording presentations as far as I am concerned, and I am very very disappointed in Apple for not figuring these issues out.   It's not a new product, and it's not as if most educators are not participating in on-line posting or sharing their work as movies for later viewing by students.
I'd appreciate hearing what others do to work around these issues before heading back to Powerpoint or having to make complex i Movies with slides as images and adding qt narration to the movies.   Keynote claims to do this... it just but I've never encountered an apple product with more bugs.

The problem Keynote has is that the sound and image content are not locked together which causes out of sync errors. This is why many users choose video editing applications when using sound in the presentations, as they have both image and audio tracks to sync sound properly together.
Start a new presentation to remove the previous sound recording, Keynote is holding onto the other sound files.
Add the graphic items to each slide and one sound file to each slide for the voice over
1 - In Inspector > Transitions; use start transitions automatically and set each transitions delay to the duration of the individual sound file.
2 - In QT export, set Fixed Timing and delete the value in the duration box, QT will then use the custom timings for each individual slide.
This procedure does work exactly as needed, Iv used this for nearly 6 years using 4 different versions of Keynote.

JOptionPane setMaximumSize with a JScrollPane as the object doesn't work

I am trying to use a JOptionPane for error messages. I'm trying to make the JOptionPane dialog be a minimum of 500x100 and a maximum size of 500x450 depending on the amount of text in the JTextArea inside the JScrollPane that's being passed into JOptionPane. I've tried both JOptionPane.showMessagePane(), and instantiating a JOptionPane and then setting its maximumSize, neither of which work as expected. Here is the relevant code:

When the JScrollPane is placed into the CENTER position the JOptionPane ignores the maxSize of both the JScrollPane and the JTextArea and stretches both of these out to 500x700 so that all text is visible. You still miss the basic concept.
The answer is it depends! First the size of the dialog needs to be determined.
If you use dialog.pack() then the preferred size of all components is used to determine the size of the dialog and the scrollpane will be whatever preferred size you gave it. If you leave the preferred size at (0, 0) then the scrollpane and text area will be invisible.
If you use dialog.setSize(???, ???), then the size of the scrollpane will be adjusted to fit the available space.
The amount of text in the text area is irrelevant in determining the size of the scrollpane. It is relevant in determining whether scrollbars will appear or not once the scrollpane is displayed.

Sending PO in mail attachment with pdf format

We are sending PO to vendor in a pdf attachment. The configuration is in place and as soon as the PO(ME22N) is saved the pdf mail is sent to vendor external mail address.
The requirement however is to add some text to this mail body ( in addition to the existing PDF attachment ).
The NACE config is using SAPFM06P program with entry_neu form and a custom sap script.
can somebody help as where is this mail functionality added in this standard program so that I may try to customize the same for the above requirement.
All I can see is 2 FM used in this ENTRY_NEU Form. Of which I guess ME_PRINT_PO is sending the mail ( I may be wrong here ) but where ?
I will be thankful for any kind of hint to help solve this issue.

In general you will have to do the following:
1) Set NAST-NACHA = 8 (Special function)
2) Before OPEN_FORM (maybe in In enhancement spot) if NAST-NACHA = 8, then set itcpo-tdgetotf = 'X' (to get OTF back from CLOSE_FORM!)
3) During CLOSE_FORM, if NAST-NACHA = '8', get OTF output from TABLES parameter OTFDATA
4) Convert this OTF output to PDF using following sample code:

I suggest you make yourself very familiar with the SAP code that does this automatically. Once you understand the processing sequence SAP uses, it is much easier to add your customization and insert your enhancements. To debug it and step through the code, but a breakpoint in ENTRY_NEU, and process a PO. If you're sending your messages using a scheduled job, you'll hit the breakpoint when you process the message using RSNAST00. That's how I did it. I can tell you what I did to meet my requirements. You can change to meet your needs. It required a custom program, to use instead if ENTRY_NEU, and 3 enhancements to SAP code using the Enhancement Framework. You need to know how to use the framework. 1. configure your output type ZNE2 to to run a new program ZMRP_OUTCTRL, to run form routine ENTRY_ZNE2, to create form Z_PURCHASE_ORDER. 2. In ZMRP_OUTCTRL, call standard function modules, ME_READ_PO_FOR_PRINT and ME_PRINT_PO. 3. Drill down into ME_PRINT_PO to PREPARE_FORMULAR function module. Create new enhancement, and if NAST-KSCHL = ZNE2, then lookup the recipient's email address. Pass it as parameter to ADDR_GET_NEXT_COMM_TYPE. 4. Still in ME_PRINT_PO, PREPARE_FORMULAR, add another enhancement to set the value of itcpo-getotf to u2018Xu2019, to enable CLOSE_FORM to capture OTF data for PDF. Only set this OTF flag when the output is being run by RSNAST00, not when a user is simply previewing the printout. Sy-ucomm will be blank when RSNAST00 is running. 5. In ME_PRINT_PO, drill down to ENDE, and add an enhancement to check for NAST-KSCHL = ZNE2, and if so, call standard SAP function modules to END_FORM, START_FORM, WRITE_FORM, and END_FORM. Next call the function CLOSE_FORM, and set table parameter to capture the OTF_DATA as a table parameter OTF_DATA. 6. How do I prevent Mail from Zipping the attachment?

When I send a .pages file by e-mail, Mail zips the file to .pages.zip.
The network software at this University blocks .zip. How do I prevent Mail from zipping the file? I tried turning off the "send windows-friendly", but but still zips.

Assuming this is iWork '08 or earlier, the "documents" are actually packages. A package is really a folder hierarchy. A folder cannot be emailed unless it is archived somehow. Mail does this automatically; most other email programs would be incapable of sending a bare Pages document at all.
You could use some other non-blocked archive format, like tar or StuffIt. Or maybe you could rename it so that the mail servers don't recognize it as zip. You would have to instruct your recipient to rename it back. I understand that iWork '09 archives documents by default, although they are not named .zip, so that should be no longer an issue.
