Unable to send photos via text or MMS messaging
I have sent several photos that were never received on the other side. I am using my iphone5 and my MMS settings are on.
I did not have this same issue last week. Why are the photos/pictures not being sent??
Is the message successfully sent - no red indicator on the message indicating it was not sent?
If successfully sent, what happens the message after that has nothing to do with the phone that sent the message.
Contact your carrier.

IPhone 4 IOS 7 - unable to send photos via text
I have been unable to send photos via text since updating to IOS7. All of my settings are up to date and this problem occurs on wifi, 3G and makes no difference if I send the photo via message first or from my camera. I have read all the troubleshooting guides and nothing has provided a permanent solution. Resetting the network seems to work for a limited time before the photos come up with the same "not delivered" icon again.
Does anyone know why the reset would work and then stop working if I haven't switched my phone off?
ThanksYou may have to backup and restore through iTunes. Have you contacted your carrier about this since this feature is carrier-provided?

Droid Charge - 3rd one, same problem with sending photos via text (MMS)
Sending photos via text messaging (stock messaging client) does not work consistently.
In a 4G area, the texts go through fine with minimal errors (perhaps 1 out of 20 failures to send)
In a 3G or less, the texts give me an error message of "Failed" or pending, whether or not the recipient gets it (usually the recipient does not get the message) - this is true of recipients with AT&T, Sprint and Verizon service with smartphones and Blackberries.
If I do not delete the thread, I get the message "Too many unsent multimedia messages" and the phone will not initiate the send. The phone will, however, continue to try to sending the photo, causing very rapid battery drain.
The last phone was replaced because the phone was not closing out the message, according to the last technician to whom I spoke.
Is there something else I can do to get the full functionality of the phone I paid for? This is an extremely frustrating issue, and makes me regret switching to Verizon.Hi moonchef!
Sending pictures is something I do on a daily basis, so I know how important this is! It is true that pictures have to be sent over the VZW network and not Wifi. I would like to ask you if you resent the same picture that failed? Or did you send the same picture again, but in a separate message? Please try sending it again separately and let me know the results. Thanks!

Is it possible to send photos via text message instead of email?
No. This is called MMS and is not a function of the iphone.
E-mail works as you can send and receive pictures to and from your iphone, to and from other peoples cell phones. -

Does texting and/or sending photos via text use up my data allowance?
I am just trying to confirm this for a friend---that texting and sending photos via text does not use up my data allowance. Can anyone confirm this for me?
After thinking about this a bit more, we would need to know HOW you text and send photos.
Sending SMS/MMS text/photos DOES NOT use up your data allowance. This is what I assumed when you simply said "texting and sending photos via text".
After thinking further, SMS/MMS is not the only way people "text and send photos via text. For example, iPhones can use iMessage and THOSE messages would use up your data allowance for actual messages sent via iMessage to/from other iPhones.
Other apps have their own texting capabilities which will ALSO use up your data allowance. Examples would be Facebook, Skype, Twitter, Instagram, Tango, etc...
If you are simply sending via SMS/MMS, then no you are not using up your data allowance. If you are utilizing some other method, then the answer could very well be yes. -

Unable to send photo via iMessage
Hi Guys,
I am having some issues sending photos via iMessage between my fathers iPhone 5s and my iPhone 6.
my fathers iPhone 5s can send me photos but when I try and send him a photo it fails with "not delivered", however sending normal text iMessage between the two phones works fine.
and another weird thing I can send photos to other people's iPhone's ????
so is the issue with my iPhone 6 or his iPhone 5s ?Hi jake85au,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you are experiencing an issue where you cannot send MMS from the Messages application to your father’s iPhone 5s only. In this situation, I would recommend reading over and working through the suggested troubleshooting steps located in the attached article.

Unable to send photos via email
We are able to send a photo via a text message, but not via gmail.
It seems to send, but never arrives at the destination.Hello sgrimes07,
Are you composing the email in your mesasges folder and using the Menu>Attach>Picture method or are you in your media folder viewing the photo and using the Menu>Send>Email option?
Do you have more than one email account other than your Hotmail? If so, are you able to send the photo using this other email account without error?

How do I send photos via text message to non-iPhone users?
I can send photos to only iPhone users, but not other phones. WHAT'S GOING ON?
Do you have MMS messaging turned on? Does your plan allow for MMS messaging? Are you using T-Mobile in the US? T-Mo's US network is not fully compatible with the iPhone and MMS messaging may not work.

TS4268 I,am unable to send photos via messages but can receive them
I,am unable to sent photos in messages but can receive them. Help
The SIM question/issue is separate from all of the others. Your iPhone will not access the cellular newtwork until you install a new SIM. The current SIM has been deactivated and is now useless. Get a new SIM, install it (or have it installed), then have your carrier grant the iPhone access to the cellualr network.

My iphone4s won't send photos via text or email
My iphone4s takes videos and pictures no problem and attaches them to an email or text message but they won't send even when I reduced them to their smallest size.
No, they're all stuck in my outbox. When I go to the outbox, there is a message that pops up after awhile: Cannot Send Mail. The user name or password for "SMTP:[email protected]" is incorrect.
I'm not sure why it's adding the smtp-- I didn't have that in the email address.
Apparently, I'm supposed to log in somewhere, but not sure where/how to do that??? -
Using 3GS, send photo via text
how do I attach a picture to my text message using my iPhone 3GS?
If you have MMS provisioned on your iPhone and turned on there should be a camera icon left of the text entry screen. Tap the camera icon.
