Unable to send replies via the forums

I'm not sure why but I am unable to reply to those who have replied to my questions on the forums. I can privately message others but am unable to actually reply in the forum. Please help!

  • IPhone 4 IOS 7 - unable to send photos via text

    I have been unable to send photos via text since updating to IOS7.  All of my settings are up to date and this problem occurs on wifi, 3G and makes no difference if I send the photo via message first or from my camera.  I have read all the troubleshooting guides and nothing has provided a permanent solution.  Resetting the network seems to work for a limited time before the photos come up with the same "not delivered" icon again. 
    Does anyone know why the reset would work and then stop working if I haven't switched my phone off?

    You may have to backup and restore through iTunes. Have you contacted your carrier about this since this feature is carrier-provided?

    Hi!
    I am unable to send pictures via facebook chat. In the 'attach' option, it does show 'photo, video, location, etc..' but I can select only the 'location' component. I was wondering if there was some settings that should be changed or that the mobile itself does not allow such activities. Please advise.

    Yes, I am using the official FB app from Microsoft. I tried the FB Beta, but I still can't send pictures. Take a look at the screenshot. I can only choose 'location'

    About ~20 hours later, this ended up solving itself. We can send email using the '.icloud' email from both the iPad and iPhone.  Advise would be 'wait' before you start seeking alteranatives like yahoo, hotmail, etc.  This definitely is a convenient way to keep all your 'cloud' information in a centralized place, including the common email...

  • Just updated to Photoshop Elements 12 and am unable to send photo via Adobe email.service. I am unable to get a verification code via email to be able to continue the email transmission.

    How do I get a verification code which I need to send photo via email from Photoshop Elements 12?  Instructions say that I'm to receive verification code via email but none arrived.

  • Unable to send email via Wireless extender

    Having just switched to BT Infinity, I've had to re-arrange my hardware at home (so the Home Hub can be where the line enters the house), and whilst I can access the web and download my emails quite happily, I keep getting timeout errors "The operation timed out waiting for a response from the sending (SMTP) server." whenever I try to send anything.
    I have my PC hardwired to a Netgear wireless extender, which is picking up a good signal from the BT Home Hub5 (where the connection comes into the house).
    I've checked my email settings, and they haven't changed, and are still correct.  Any ideas?

    Hi dickylaa,
    Have you tried sending an email with a direct connection to the Hub so we can understand if it only happens when connected via the extender?

  • Unable to send mail via Secure SMTP

    Our email system allows users access to their accounts via secure IMAP and SMTP.
    I am able to connect and view my inbox via secure IMAP, using a number of different S60 devices - namely E72, E52 and 5800.
    However I am unable to connect to send via secure SMTP.
    By contrast, I am able to view and send mail with Apple and Android devices without any problems.
    On my comparable UAT configuration the S60 devices do not have this problem.
    On UAT, we use a self-signed certificate, as opposed to the Live system which uses a Verisign certificate.
    Help, please!

    How can I resolve this apparent problem with the certificate?

    An Update of sorts.
    On my E72 I removed all references to Verisign under: Ctrl. panel -> Settings -> General -> Security -> Certificate management -> Authority certificates. (There were about 6 entries)
    I tried to connect afresh, but the phone took two attempts to pick up my password for email.
    I now have a 'Trusted site certificate' for the email server.
    However, I still can't send.  A message pops up 'Unable to send message: <target address>'

  • Unable to send email to the users from Project Server Workflow

    Hello all,
    I am facing issues in sending emails to the users from the workflow in SharePoint Designer 2013.
    I am trying to send emails to valid users in a Project server 2013 Workflow by Email action.
    I have set up the SMTP server successfully, I have configured SMTP server successfully in IIS manager 6.0
    I have configured the outgoing e-mail settings in Central Administration successfully,
    I have configured the SMTP email settings for my web app in IIS manager as well.
    I have configured and synced the User Profile App with the eMail addresses from Active Directory as well.
    I have configured the Alerts and Reminders in Operational Policies of PWA settings as well.
    I can send the emails to the users successfully through Powershell.
    But when I am trying to Start a Task Process with a user in the workflow, the task process starts but it never sent an email notification. So I tested by using the Action Email, that also the user is unable to receive any email. But the Workflow is not giving
    any error also. The email sending is successful, but the user is unable to receive it. The workflow succeeds to next phase without any errors.
    So to cross verify I tried 'Alert Me' option on a list, but that also is not sending(or might be sending but the user is not receiving) the mail.
    What else should I do to solve this issue.
    Please help me.

    Hello Paul,
    I tried editing the PWA instance as you said, but that also didn't help :(
    I even restarted the Project Server Service, but nothing is changed. 
    I tried creating a new workflow for a List and used send email there, but that also is not sending the mail :(
    How do I check where the issue is from ? I mean, whether the workflow is sending the mail and the mail server is not receiving? or whether the workflow is not sending the mail itself? how do I check this? Is there any way to log these details?
    Please help me regarding this issue, I am totally clueless how to proceed.

  • IPhone 6 is unable to send email because the sender address was rejected by the server

    When I try to send emails from my Microsoft Outlook for Mac, I get a message that says "Unable to Send Email.  A copy has been placed in your Outbox.  The sender address was rejected by the server."  I've checked all the settings (it is a POP account).  I've deleted and re-installed.  Any suggestions??

  • Sending variables via the e-mail report

    I don't have an LMS, so I'm sending via e-mail some courses to my coworkers and getting their answers via the e-mail report, one of the problems with this is that I cannot  validate name, last name, user's e-mail, and business unit automatically.
    Once I get the answers I copy and paste the results in Excel in order to do the grading and analysis, I do it this way because the Quiz results analyzer either gives only the final grade or shows each anser student by student.
    The way I solved this before was adding a question slide for each field and making them survey questions, the issue with this is that the users need to fill 4 or 5 fields and if I use questions it also means 4 or 5 pages.
    Is there a way to fill this information using Text Entry Boxes and sending the content via the e-mail report using variables?
    As far as I know this was not possible in previous versions of Captivate, I just upgraded to 5.5

    Hello Moderators,
    Well i don't know what happen to my browser or it is happening in all browsers.
    But i want to tell you that i am facing some problem in SDN formus.
    Its regarding showing 'REPLIES' of the questions.
    Please look into my points:
    1. Sometimes reply colomn shows -1 reply, how it can be possible.
    2. Sometimes it shows replies are ther but when you look into the question, no replies there.
    3. Sometimes it shows 0 replies, but when you look into the questions replies are there.
    I am totally confused by all this.
    I can write this mail directly to moderators, but i want to know one thing....only i am facing this problem or everyone facing this?? Or i can say this is something new in SDN, which i don't know?? Please help me.
    I don't want to disturb anyone, but i think i have a valid point to ask this to everyone.

    What's the point of having a community forum, if nobody from Adobe answers questions?
    It hardly encourages users to participate, if they see most questions-slash-suggestions without replies.

    Adobe gave us Presidents day off so we all had a three day weekend. There are team members reading the forums, twitter and facebook posts during the week. We definately want your feeback and votes on ideas as we continue working on Reflow.

  • Unable to send mail via .Mac

    Love my new iPhone. Everything seems to work just fine. I can't, however, send mail using my .Mac account (I receive mail just fine). When I attempt to send (using Edge), I get an error, "Cannot send Mail - the connection to the outgoing server 'smtp.mac.com' failed." One would guess that I've got some setting incorrect, but I can't see what it is. My Yahoo and GMail accounts seem to work just fine, both sending and receiving mail. It's just the .Mac account. Any suggestions? I suppose I could delete the account and try again, but there must be something not right. Any Ideas???

    Did you manually create your .Mac account on the iPhone or transfer your .Mac account settings from your Mac to the iPhone via the sync process?
    If the latter, what are you using for the server port for .Mac's SMTP server on your Mac?
    If not 25, change it to 587.
    If you manually created your .Mac account on the iPhone, use this for the SMTP server.
    smtp.mac.com:587
    Add 587 to the SMTP server separated by a colon.
    I use this to send with my .Mac account on different WiFi networks and via EDGE with no problems.

    Hi Guys,
    I am having some issues sending photos via iMessage between my fathers iPhone 5s and my iPhone 6.
    my fathers iPhone 5s can send me photos but when I try and send him a photo it fails with "not delivered", however sending normal text iMessage between the two phones works fine.
    and another weird thing I can send photos to other people's iPhone's ????
    so is the issue with my iPhone 6 or his iPhone 5s ?
