Unable to setup ACS UCP ver4.1 in Windows 2003 Server Standard

Please refer to the attachment "error.JPG". When i launch the setup.exe, it show me the error message. Seem like the setup file is created for 16bit OS. Anyone can help?

Ensure that the web server uses Microsoft IIS 6.0 (included with Windows Server 2003).This error states that the setup.exe file is missing and so i think that the error is in installing the UCM.so reinstall the UCM by following the procedures provided in the installation guide.

  • Oracle 9i - Unable to set /PAE and /3GB Switch in Windows 2003 Server SP2

    Hi
I was wondering if anyone had any experience on Windows 2003 Server (SP2) with setting /PAE and /3GB switches.
I am unable to set both together, setting one or the other works fine in the boot.ini.
Oracle seem to think you can set both but it causes my OS to crash/become unstable.
Has anyone set both switches together on 32 bit Windows 2003 Server successfully?
I am using Oracle 9.2.0.3 Enterprise Edition.
    Thanks

The server is new. But we installed 10g before 11g was available. Then upgraded to 11g, so it is a little mess. What the oracle installer should have done in a fresh install, it is maybe not what the server has now.
I have checked for memory issues, processor issues, http errors, every EM setting and metric, and everything looks just right, but the applications are slow and the users are upset.
Anyway, thanks for the advice. Maybe we will need to re-install everything or go back to 10g on Windows 2003 Server x32. That configuration was working fine before rushing into 11g.

  • DataGuard setup between Windows XP Pro and Windows 2003 Server - possible?

Oracle 9.2. The documentation says "The hardware and operating system architecture on the primary and standby locations must be the same". I understand that this is recommended setup and it will be much better if it will be setup on EXACTLY same hardware and OS. My questions is - Is it possible to set it up between XP Pro and 2003 Server? Had anyone done it successfully the past?
    Thank you

    Hi,
between XP Pro and 2003 ServerBoth are Win* releases, both are 32bit. So I can't see why it would not work. But I think that certified combination requies that both computers use same O.S. release (XP pro xor 2k3 server).

  • Unable to reset Eventlog Filters on Windows 2003 Server

After clearing the event log files on one of our Windows Server 2003 servers I noticed that the filter parameters have not been reset to All Records. In fact the last From date is 31 May 2013. I can reset it to Default then it displays all records. The
log files get stored and reset at the end of every month but these parameters will not change. I have disable the EventLog service and delete the EVT files, rebooted the server and reset the Eventlog Service to Automatic and restarted the service but the filter
paramets remain unchanged. I have looked in the registry but cannot identify where these parameters are held and there does not appear to be a specific INI file that stroes this information. Where to now?

    Hi Colin,
    >>After clearing the event log files on one of our Windows Server 2003 servers I noticed that the filter parameters have not been reset to All Records
As far as I know, to turn off event filtering, we need to click
All Records on the View menu.
Besides, filtering changes only the view, and has no effect on the actual contents of the log. All events are logged continuously, whether the filter is active or not. If
you archive a log from a filtered view, all records are saved, even if you select a text format or comma-delimited text format file.
Regarding filtering events, the following article can be referred to for more information.

  • Is there anyway to take a windows 7 computer that the user is completely setup and configured and connect to a windows 2003 server

I have spent hours setting up a windows 7 computer with programs cad files and other software and I would like to log in to a windows 2003 server
without having to start over. Is there anyway to do that without losing anything?
    Scott

Hello, I can't believe your the only one that answered my question.
What I have is 7 pc's that I bought in 2007 they are "HP M9077C" I am trying to
upgrade all of them the same way. I upgraded the memory to 8gb, replaced the
video cards to nvidia quadro k600 and installed windows 7 ultimate on all of them.
I then took just 1 of the computers and installed all of the software and changed the
settings to my preference which took hours to do. After I had the 1 computer
configured exactly the way that I wanted it I made a mirror image backup of it.
I then took that backup and restored it on the rest of the 6 computers that I have.
Now here comes the problem I need to be able to hook up the computers to my
windows 2003 small business server. When my IT guy did that he said that he had
to create a different user to connect to the file server when he did that my desktop
was empty and all of the settings are on the original user. Is there anyway to keep
the settings from the original user and connect to the file server so I don't have to
spend hours on each one of the computers. If there is a way to copy the original
user's settings that would be great. I also need to change the user name on each
    computer. Please let me know.
    Thanks Scott

  • Unable to install ACS on Microsoft windows 2003 Virtual Server

    Hi,
I am trying to install Cisco Secure ACS on Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition which is hosted on a Microsoft Virtual Server, but the installation doesnt go beyond the enclosed screenshot.
Please let me know whether ACS can be installed on a Virtual Server or not.
    thank you
    Regards
    Salim

We have ACS 4.0 installed in our lab systems on VM. Which VM are you running? ACS has been tested on and is only supported on VMware ESX 3.0 and later. Also, you need to have adequate resources allocated to the ACS/Windows VM instance.

  • Cisco aironet 1130g and windows 2003 with cisco ACS

      hi
i  have configured windows 2003 server with  DNS ,Active directory users and dhcp server.  and configured my cisco 1130g AP .
i have installed cisco access control server 4.0 because i use LEAP authentication protocol and for the ACS for network configuration i give aaa client ip addresss as AP interface ip and  same shared secret for the AP and ACS,.
so  when i log to wifi it ask username and password
problem is lap top cannot have a ip address my dhcp server not issue any ip address .
my hiper terminal massage is like this when i connect to wifi
    help ...thank you...

As I mentioned now several times already, it is the client and ACS which do the PEAP. The Access point doesn't have to be configured for an eap type. What you did on the AP was setting the AP as a radius server which is duplicate work with what you did on ACS.
So you need on your client to configure either PEAP or LEAP.

  • ACS SE no load Cetificate CA Enterprise Windows 2003

I have an ACS Appliance with integrated Windows 2000 version 4.1.1.23 , I need to implement EAP-TLS in a Domain Windows 2003, the CA that I am using is a "CA 2003". I have read several documents that explain how ask for certificates to the ACS, nevertheless it has not been possible to load in the ACS the certificate emitted by the CA. The certificate generated by the CA has the
extension *.cer, but the other one *.pvk file is not generated. THIS IS THE MAIN
    PROBLEM.
I have read and followed every configuration step I found in this Document:
    Cisco Document ID: 64067
The ACS documentation indicates interoperability with Windows 2003.

    Hi,
you can use "Generate Certificate Signing Request" in the appliance System configuration page, to request a Certificate from your CA.in the field Private Key file put o name with the extention .pvk and type a password.when you will have the certificate from the CA, download it to your ACS Appliance, you don't need to download the Private key, it's stored in the Appliance, just put the name that you've entred in the first phase of generating a CSR.
I hope that it will help you.
