Unable to share software through family share

The family share is a nice feature, however, the feature is so so so difficult to use. It took us more than one hour to follow all the instructions, in the end, the software is able to be downloaded and installed, but not able to use as "the software is not shared any more". Is Apple on purpose making the feature difficult to use so that people will not share software? Also I am not able to find a way to solve the problem through email or online chat, the only way I found is through a phone call, which is not always convenient.

Dear Nokia,
I checked today that there is a software update available for my Asha 200. I downloaded the software through the option given in the phone. The software was downloaded successfully but when i tried to install the software, phone prompted a diaogue box '2.7 MB Memory needed. Delete some items?'. I tried to delete some items but couldn't because all the filed were system files hence protected. Please let meknow how to update the software using phone only? I cant not update this software using PC due to non-availability of PC with me.

Also, i saw that people are facing problems after updating the software update by Nokia. Guys, please let me know whether i shouldupdate my phone with new firmware or should wait for the another fixed version.

That still doesn't help. We're not prying, we're trying to help but we honestly have no idea what you are talking about. The more and better details that you can provide, the better we can help.
"Because I want to know" adds no value and does not help us help you. We need technical details -- we can't see what you are seeing and we can't read your mind.
And, you didn't really answer any of my questions.
I'll take another wild-guess though: If you are talking about the source file locations referenced within packages and applications, users do not access those. The computer account for the systems hosting the SMS Provider needs read access to the location(s)
specified. Yes, this means both NTFS and share permissions assuming they are being referenced via a UNC.
Finally, there is no service account. If you've changed the account that the SMS_EXECUTIVE is running under, you're are now in a completely unsupported state that will have many issues. If instead you are talking about the Network Access Account, that is
*not* a service account and is *not* used to access content source files.
Once again though, we're simply guessing because no one has any idea what you're doing. Please provide actual, technical details.

Unable to share files with other Macs after lion Upgrade

I am unable to share files other macs on my home network.
I receive an error message that the server will not allow additional users to log on.
I can connect to windows machines and can use mac screen sharing.

I have multiple machines with Lion installed (Mid 2010 MacBook Pro, 2.66 GHz Mac Mini & a late 2010 iMac) and several more runing Snow Leopard. I cannot make AFP connections to any Lion machine from any other machine, Lion or not. At the same time I can make Screen Sharing connections and several other types of connection to the Lion machines, and can make any type of connection (including AFP) from the Lion machines to the Snow Leopard machines.
After I enter my password, attempted AFP connections to Lion invariably draw the "This file server will not allow any additional users to log on" alert.
Yet the target Lion machine shows "Number of users connected 0". I don't know how to find the crash log, but no AFPFileServer process appears in the Activity Monitor's All Processes list on the 2 Lion machines I checked, so this might be the problem. I've tried repairing the file system & permissions, to no avail.
=> Spettinger's workaround - switching AFP off and SMB on - does indeed allow me to make file sharing connections to my Lion machines. Thanks spettinger!
But, how can this be? There is nothing unusual about my configuration: its all recent Apple hardware & system software, with no 3rd-party protocols & no hacking. Why doesn't everyone who shares files have this exact problem?

Unable to share pictures via instagram and BBM on iPhone 6

I am unable to share my pictures via Instagram and BBM.

The Instagram app gives you options to take a picture using the camera and sharing but if you take a picture simply through the camera app you do not have options to share to Instagram. I would assume that BlackBerry Messenger is the same way. You can go to Settings and then scroll down to each of the apps and make sure that they have access to the camera. You can see the difference of having access to the previously taken photos by looking at the Settings for Facebook. You see that you have options to access the camera and an option to access Photos.

It looks as if it went through, even says it was authorized to "visit facebook", but when I do so, the photo is NOT there. PLEASE help as I am a photographer and I have been doing this for over a year now. I thought I was having a problem with my old program (Elements10), so I bought Elements 11 and the SAME thing is happening......

I would suggest you to refresh online services and then try again uploading facebook. The online services can be refreshed through Edit->Preferences->Adobe Partner services.In this dialog box click on "Reset account" and "Refresh Online services" and then re-launch application.

After upgrading to Yosemite, I am unable to share screen with Macbook Pro

After upgrading to Yosemite 10.10 on a 2008 MacBook Pro I am unable to "Share Screen" using my authorized user account. It worked fine before I upgraded to Yosemite.
I can access "Share Screen" by "requesting permission", but of course this doesn't work unless I am sitting right by the MacBook Pro to give myself permission, which defeats my original purpose for using "Share Screen".
I attempted to add another authorized "Share Screen" user account, but was unable to access the list of add "Groups and Users" on the host MacBook Pro from the "Share Screen" dialog box. The dialog box pops up, when I press "+" to add another user, but the list of users fails to appear. I assume the list of authorized users for screen share has somehow become corrupt.
All other ways to access "sharing user" accounts appear to be working properly. I can add and remove other "sharing users" without problems. For example, I can add a new authorized "file share" user and share files without problems.
I ran Disk Utility in Recovery Mode and normal mode and corrected all errors, and user permissions on both machines. I also ran "resetpassword" from Terminal in Recovery Mode and "reset" user permissions. I am not an experienced Terminal or Recovery Mode user though.
I also tried turning the Firewall off, to no avail.
I am attempting to access "Screen Share" on the MacBook Pro via a Macbook Air 13" manufactured mid 2013 also with Yosemite 10.10, however, I also attempted with an older MacBook Air which experiences the same problem.

Thanks for the idea but it did not work, I do not know why it is asking me for a password which I never needed before for a guest to use the computer? I have tried everything and I do not know which password it wants? I do not see any option for a password for the guest account, to create one or delete one or modify it? Maybe this bug\problem will be addressed in a future update?

Unable to share photo iPhone 5c to macbook air

I am using an iPhone 5c on iOS 8.3 and a mackbook air.
I am trying to clear some space on my phone and trying to take some photos off and add them to my macbook. Ive tried to use photos, iPhoto, iTunes, photo sharing, dropbox and email but all I get is a pop up titled 'unable to share' and underneath says 'There was an error while preparing to share. Please try again later.' Ive tried on several occasions and it just says the same every time.
In photos, it only shows me the photo stream from 12/03/15, not sure what is significant about that date, if anything.
Im out of ideas, can anyone help?

Test by simplifying the name for the wireless and set names for the two bands..
eg AE24ghz and AE5ghz.
Then use no security.. does the MBA and iphone then join..
If so put back security.. wpa2 with simple password, no spaces pure alphanumeric mixed case and numbers.
If no connection test with fixed channels .. say 11, 9, 6 in that order for 2.4ghz.
Don't worry about 5ghz for now.. if it still won't join it is somehow incompatible.. you need to reset the Japanese devices but I am not sure how.

Unable to share files with Windows

I have followed the instructions on my iMac to a "T", but am unable to share files with the wireless laptop on my network. The ethernet-wired pc can see the iMac fine and does not have to use a password to view the shared files. I must be doing something wrong with passwords - can someone please help? Thanks!

What version of Windows are you running on the other machines? XP, Vista, 7, 8 or 8.1? EDIT: Scratch that - I just saw that it is a Windows 7 PC from the subject!!! (DOH!).
Are your Windows computers on a domain, or are they running as a WORKGROUP?
When you say that you can't connect to the network, does this mean that you are having trouble connecting to file shares?
What are you seeing when you attempt to connect? Any error messages? Or is it simply failing to accept the login credentials and shaking the dialog box at you?

ive got a black macbook intel core 2 duo.
i tried putting final cut pro x on there but it doesnt like it as the graphics card isnt compatible-after doing a google search...anyway- i have imovie 11.
im unable to 'share' my footage once i am happy with it...any thoughts?
ive nothing on this computer- no programs no files. i purchased it a few days ago...so far peeved with LION...so had to call apple to purchase original install discs it would have shipped with for snow leopard.
if anyone knows why im unable to 'share' id be so grateful for your help.

And You have space - on the Start-Up (Mac OS) Hard Disk - to Share to ?
You need a minimum of 25Gb free space just to let iMovie, iDVD and Mac OS to run OK and to this space for the Shared Project and if HD this can need lot's (50Gb extra is not unusual)
If You use Finalize function - this too grabs lot's of hard disk space
If You use external hard disk/s - Then they MUST be Mac OS Extended formatted (hfs) - else iMovie can not use them for video !

iPhoto Application (problems just started)

3)If library photo is double clicked I get a black frame with a "caution" symbol with ! point in center
4)In the picture menu bar there are framed pictures as well as black frames with a dashed white square symbol in center
What has or is happening? Is there any way to correct problem?
Had a recent diagnosis done on IMac. Was told failing power supply and failing hard drive. Have replaced the power supply.
Is above indication of failing hard drive?

Unlikely.
This is a problem in the LIbrary and not the application. So reinstalling is unlikely to have any effect.
Try rebuild the Library.
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
