Unable to start/access iasconsole after gc upgrade to 10205

Hi,
Can anybody help me with an error Im encountering when opening the Administer link it throws the error:
An error was encountered while loading page. There was a communication problem contacting the agent. This may be a transient network problem. There was a communication problem fetching monitoring data. This may be a transient network problem
when I check on the iasconsole, It hasnt been started and couldnt be started. Apart from the iasconsole, everything's great.
any ideas?
OS: solaris 10 sparc
repdb: 11.1.0.6
upgrade path: 1020101->10205

DS 5.2 unable to start admin server after OS upgrade

Hi,
We upgraded our server from Solaris 9 to Solaris 10 this past weekend. After putting back all the libraries we were able to start the admin server (start-admin). I'm getting and error:

Is the problem here that the webserver software is somehow unavailable? I'm actually using Webserver 7.0 so this must be something packaged with DS 5.2?

I was able to get the admin server started. I did not have all the directories in place I thought I needed. There were a lot of links that needed to be resolved.

i tried to restore like 3-4 times, didnt help
even tried to set the iphone as a "new iphone" on itunes and it didnt help

Generally, when going out of the country and using a foreign SIM, carrier files can be changed. Go to Settings>General>About>and look at Carrier? What does it say? You may have to perform a restore. You can try a restore from a backup, that would reinstall the iOS, and would provide the latest AT&T carrier file as well. See if this will fix the problem.

SOAP unable to create a socket after OS upgrade OS/400 V5R4 to V7R1

after we upgraded our OS from System i V5R4 to V7R1 we have problems with our SOAP adapters.
In the runtime workbench and also in the SXMB_MONI the following error occured:
SOAP: call failed: java.io.IOException: unable to create a socket
Message-Verarbeitung fehlgeschlagen. Grund: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.io.IOException: unable to create a socket
Before the OS upgrade the adapter rans without any errors and we tested the connection to the partner
with an system running V5R4 with success. So it seems to be an error that came with the OS upgrade.
Any idea? Had any one the same error after migration to V7R1? Thanks for your help.

we found out that the error is attached to DNS and Java stack. Our ABAP stack can set the url to the correct IP adress, if we configure a entry in SM59. Also the java stack calls our partner over SOAP with IP adress, but not with url. The urls are stored in the local host table, so we suppose that the java stack doesn't use the local dns table and doesn't ask our dns server for the right ip adress.
Does anybody know this issue? The only change we did is upgrade OS/400 from V4R4 to V7R1. If a mod see this, I think it make sence to move this thread into the forum SAP on DB2 UDB for i5/OS (DB4). Thank's.

after check vmware message under /tmp/vmware-$USER/vmware*.log, found one package is missing - libpng12, after installed it, everything looks good again

Unable to start Access - Error 0xc0000142

Dear Community,
I have sequenced MS Access 2010 successfully and published it to my users.
When I'm trying to start Access I receive the following error: the application fails to start with error 0xc0000142.
I have already found this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2777003, but the value HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem\NtfsDisable8dot3NameCreation
is already set to 2.
The Eventlog gives me this error 18005 The virtual application 'C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\AppV\Client\Integration\623EC041-3156-4C68-B200-BEC3E436878F\Root\Office14\MSACCESS.EXE' could not be started because the App-V Subsystem
'Virtual Filesystem' could not be initialized. {error: 0x7430090A-0x20005}

Unfortunately there were no "Result: Logon Failure".
So at the moment I ran out of ideas.

App-V Version: App-V 5.0 SP2 HF5
Startmenu and Desktop folders are redirected to a network share.

yes it happens on all Terminalserver and yes, other app-v applications work as expected.
Here are my sequencing steps:
Before Sequencing:
I installed "Office Deployment Kit for App-V" on sequencer and all Terminalserver.
Created a msp-file for the Office installation (setup.exe /admin).
Added following exceptions to the Sequencer options:
- [{Common AppData}]\Microsoft\OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform -> Mapping type: VFS
- [{Common AppData}]\Microsoft\Windows -> Mapping type: VFS
Started sequenced Office installation.
Deleted all FTA's (Access 2013 is installed locally on each Terminalserver)
Published Access through App-V management server.
That's it. Am I missing something?

My macbook pro starts to pop after I upgraded to Mountain Lion, what can I do?

As the title said, my MBP 13" late 2011 starts to have popping sound coming out from speaker a while ago.
It just pop every few minutes and I am very worried.
I did a few research and it seems like there's something to do with the hard disk.
note that this happened right after I upgraded to Mountain Lion.

Well when you did the upgrade the OSX ML uses your drive alot. As you said the popping sound from your research its comming form the drive. if that is the case. Check your disk with disk utitlities just incase too see if the drive is still ok. If its all Green your good if its red it might need replacement.
Note that Popping sound is usually a hardware problem or optical audio problem when using external speakers. instead of internal ones so becareful. My advice would be too be let it slide still the next patch if disk utilities says your drive is fine (Usually after 2 weeks of main realese). After that if its still there you have to get the puppy in for a checkup.

IPad apps can't access photos after iOS8 upgrade

I've got a number of apps on my iPad that used to be able to access the photos in my iPad Photos app but no longer can access them. I checked under Privacy > Photos that they are enabled and I went to General > Restrictions and made sure all restrictions are off. I changed nothing after the upgrade and all the apps could access photos before the upgrade.

Hold down ⌥ and ⌘ whilst launching photos and try repairing the library.

Unable to start message server after NIC installation

I installed a fresh Solaris 10, it worked all fine. Because it does not support my NIC, so I downloaded a free sfe driver for my NIC, and installed it. The driver worked for me, but after that, ODE is unable to start. I think the new driver installation is the problem, but don't how to resolve it. Anyone can help me out of there please?

I have resolved the problem. I created /etc/defaultrouter for my office LAN. When I don't have connection to that router, the problem will ocur. So I just simply remove the file, then, it works!

I am getting this weird problem with iFS. I have web application where I connect to iFS to read some of the documents. The problem is when the database is stopped and started with App server still running (ifs is also up and running)... I am getting the following error message.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have also attached the java class which I am using to get connection...

Unable to start Admin server after WLS 10.3.3 to 10.3.4 upgrade

Guys,
It seems that the start scripts replaced while upgrading the domain did not have right class paths as the previous start scripts had which were created while creating the domain originally. Copying the necessary Class paths makes the new start scripts to work fine.

Unable to connect to Internet after Secruity Upgrade - Any Suggestions?

Like several of the previous posts I am unable to connect to the internet. The affected computer is a G3 iMac. It is connected to a Linksys wireless access point. The Linksys wireless router is connected to my cable modem. I get a message that the Built-in Ethernet is active but: Built-in Ethernet has a self assigned IP address and you may not be able to connect to the internet. No combination of changes to the settings has had any effect. I also have tried all of the fixes in the previous posts. None of them have worked. I am not experiencing any connectivity problems with my other computers (2 PCs and 1 Macbook). Everything worked fine until that danged "security upgrade"!

Thank you for the link to MacFixIt. I found what I needed to correct the problem, although all of the fixes referenced computers with the AirPort card and software. I found that removing the extensions AppleAirPort2.kext and AppleAirPortFW.kext solved the problem. Everything seems to be working properly after a restart last night and an overnight shutdown.

Cannot access iPhoto after Maverick upgrade

After upgrading to OSX 10.9.1, I am unable to access my photos. I get an error message stating that the photos are on a locked disk. It tries to repair teh access but top no avail. I can view my photos on my phone.

Your phone access to photos is strictly on your phone. It sounds like you put your photos on another account, or an external hard drive that doesn't have the right permissions. You could sync up the photos from your phone to your computer, but that requires these steps:

The Pictures folder should not be outside your Users -> yourname -> folder. Otherwise iPhoto generally won't know where to find it, without a rebuild of the library. If you did put it outside of there, command-option keys need to be held simultaneously while launching iPhoto, and locate the iPhoto Library xml file in the folder that has your library once it asks you to relocate the folder.
