Hi everybody, adobe muse does not start at the first attempt after installation. know the reason and possible solution? (on iMac 27 retina - latest edition)

    Hi
Are you still experiencing the issue or is it fixed now?

  • Cluster_resource not starting in oracle RAC 11gR2 after adding

I am using a RAC of 2 nodes (rac1,rac2) on windows 2008 Server R2 with Oracle 11gr2 grid installed.
I am trying to add a cluster resource using
*> crsctl add resource check -type cluster_resource -attr "ACTION_SCRIPT=C:\app\agent.exe"*
It is success and is shown using crs_stat -t
    C:\app\11.2.0>crs_stat -t
    Name Type Target State Host
    check clus...esource ONLINE UNKNOWN rac2
Now I am trying to start this using
    *>crsctl start resource check*
    Its failing with following error:
CRS-2672: Attempting to start 'check' on 'rac2'
CRS-2674: Start of 'check' on 'rac2' failed
CRS-2679: Attempting to clean 'check' on 'rac2'
CRS-2678: 'check' on 'rac2' has experienced an unrecoverable failure
CRS-0267: Human intervention required to resume its availability.
CRS-5802: Unable to start the agent process
CRS-4000: Command Start failed, or completed with errors.
Please help me in solving this problem.

    Hi FZheng ,
    Thanks for your reply.
agent.exe is a application containing start/stop/clean/check cases. Its a simple application through which we want to check cluster resource addition.
Yes Grid user has privileges to rum agent.exe.
One thing more I want to add, this problem is only coming for ORACLE 11gR2.
All other versions (11gR1,10g) its working fine.
If we check crsd.log in %GRID_HOME%/log/crsd directory ..the logs are as follows:
*[ AGFW][3616] Starting the agent: C:\app\11.2.0\grid\bin\scriptagent.exe with user id: administrator and incarnation:9*
*[ AGFW][3616]Created alert : (:CRSAGF00123:) : Failed to start the agent process: C:\app\11.2.0\grid\bin\scriptagent.exe Category: -2 Operation: OpenService Loc: getusrtok2 OS error: 1060 Other : OpenService Failed*
    *[ AGFW][3616]Created alert : (:CRSAGF00126:) : Agent start failed*
I guess the problem is with scriptagent.exe which is used to start 3rd party cluster resources.
    Please comment.

  • Unable to start the Dolby audio driver after updating windows 10

I am using a Lenovo Laptop G510 that came with Windows 8 preinstalled. Yesterday I updated it to Windows 10 and after that whenever I boot my pc to desktop I get an error message saying that "Unable to start the Dolby audio driver". I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Audio driver from my computer but still the error comes up. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?  Thanks

    hi Abrahamjoy,
    Can you try these steps:
    1. Follow this guide on how to disable automatic driver installation.
    2. Press the Windows key‌ +X and choose Device Manager. On the Device Manager, navigate to
     -  Sound, video and game controllers > right click on  Conexant SmartAudio or IDT High Definition Audio >  choose uninstall > and ensure the delete the driver software for this device is checked.
    3. Press the Windows key‌ +X and choose Programs and Features. On the list of apps, uninstall anything that relates to the Conexant/IDT & Dolby then reboot.
    4. After the reboot, download and install the driver below (this should install the audio & dolby components)
     - Audio Driver (Conexant) for Windows 10 (64-bit) - Lenovo G410, G510
When finished, you the audio & dolby settings should now work and the errors should not pop-up anymore.

Let me know how it goes.

I have used 3873 and some other available ports but got the same error.

Now let me tell you our environenment and the scenerio.
We have installled OEM 10g Grid Console on machine A.
We have different databases running on machine B,machine C and D and so forth.
We want to monitor all databases running on machine B,C and D from OEM Grid Control running on machine A.
For that purpose i have installed Oracle 10g Agent on machine B,C and D in order to communicate them with the Grid machine A.
Machine B and C are working fine and are communicating with Grid. Now we can monitor databases running on machine B and C from Grid machine.
But i am getting this HTTP listener problem with the machine D.
So this is how i have setup the environment.
Now any guesses for the problem.

  • Start Menu Not Auto Updating After Installation of New Applications

// Also reported via Windows Feedback Tool //
After the installation of several applications, the new Start Menu does not necessarily automatically update to reflect the added programs.
The application’s folder is properly installed under C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs, but it will not show under the Start Menu until the user logs out and logs in.
Interestingly enough, this behavior is not consistent.  Some applications installations are immediately reflected while others are not.
In this particular example, LibreOffice 4.3 was installed.

    Hi @Senttu
    Thank you for your reply.
You can try running the file checker to look for and try to repair corrupted files.
    Go to the command prompt.
Right click and run as administrator.
Type sfc /scannow and press enter.
You can also try  using the Windows troubleshooter.  Diagnose and repair Windows File and Folder Problems automatically.
If the issue should still remain, I suggest contacting  MIcrosoft for assistance.

  • Having issues with starting Reports Server on RHEL5 after installation

Hi, I installed Oracle Application Server 10.1.2 on RHEL, ran the patches to move it up to 10.1.2.3. I've also put a couple patches in addition.
When I go to my application server console, I noticed everything is started up but my Reports Server. I've tried to manually start it via the browser, and it tells me it starts up. But when I go back to the main page of the application server console, it shows still as down. I've tried to log onto the server and issue a statement to start the reports server. However, it still will not start.
I followed the steps made in Metalink Document 564174.1 and did everything that was asked.
Anybody got any ideas on what might be causing this?
The only error (warning message) I received during any part of the installation process was the OPMN Process Manager didn't start. I went ahead and continued (not sure if that's my problem). But that was the only issue. And like I say, the forms server seems to work fine. No issues. I've set up my application and I can call all the forms in my application. It works.
    Regards,
    Chris

One thing is that the status in EM console is showed ad Stoped and indeed it's stoped and other is that the EM is not able to see if the process is up. Lots of times I had problems like this where the Reports Server is showed as down but the proc exist and the service is attending request.
Have you try to test report server running a sample report?
Have you check is exist a proces for the report server?
Have you use the rwdiag.sh -findall to see if the process exists?
    Hope this helps
    Greetings.

I thought it would be like a c compilerYes, it is. Or better: it contains a compiler, among other things.
, you get a gui where you can load a file or create a file and click some button to compile and then run the program. That's not what a compiler does. What you describe is an Integrated Development Environment (= IDE).
Just like you do with a Microsoft C++ compiler. No, the Microsoft C++ compiler doesn't do that. Visual Studio does that. Visual Studio is an IDE, not a compiler.
does it only work on command line like open a dos window and type javac <filename>The JDK alone only works that way, yes.
There are IDEs for Java as well, of course.
I still suggest you start your journey with a good editor (Notepad++, JEdit) and the command line tools only. This will help you learn some important concepts.

  • Unable to Use Proofing Tools in Portuguese after Installation

    Good Afternoon!
I am wondering if someone might be able to point me in the right direction with this.
Our computers all run Windows 7 x64 Enterprise, with Office 2010 Professional Plus.  I have one user, who has enabled her Portuguese keyboard and also needs to install the proofing tools in Portuguese.  Following the link within Outlook (Not Installed
link) brings you to a "dead" page.  I found the proofing tools online, in both x86 and x64 (we run 32bit Office) and tried installing them one at a time.  The installation will complete successfully, but they tools still show as Not Installed.
I contacted AnswerDesk and they gave me a new file to try and the same thing happened.  For troubleshooting's sake, I tried this on my own machine as well (same software, different hardware) and had the same result.  Tomorrow I am going to uninstall
and reinstall Office and try again.
Would anybody have a suggestion on what else to try?  I'm kind of at a loss, and I'm guessing it is some silly little thing that I am missing (like a random checkbox!)
Thanks in advance for any and all help and suggestions!
