Unable to Start Extract Process

hi,
I am just start the extract process command & then i see the status. then the process is in STOP mode. i can't understand that why.
I have also check the ggerror file. in which i can the extract process is runnig.
but whn i run the command

OAS Startup OWS-08820: Unable to start oassrv process 'oassrv'.

Dear OAS Product Manager, Oracle fellows & Developer Guys,
I am using Win NT 4.0 Server, Servie Pack 5 (1280)
on Intel Pentium III 550MHz PC - 256MB ram.
8GB Hard Disk 1 with C,D,E,F drives and
another 4GB Hard Disk with G,H drives,
all with FAT.(I have got Win98 in C:)
I have got:
1) Oracle8 (8.0.4) at D:\ORANT
2) Devloper2000 at D:\ORANT
3) Oracle8i (8.1.6) at G:\Oracle8i
4) JDeveloper 3.1 at F:\JDeveloper 3.1
Then I installed OAS 4.0.8.1 at F:\OAS (after closing
all running Oracle processes) with the "Complete" option.
After reboot, I logged into the Oracle Application
Server Manager, and tried to start "ALL" as mentioned in the
documentation. I got the following message:

Check if there is no a pid or trace or any file that is created during the start of this kind of process and remove it and try again. As well you may check if there is a java process from the console kill it and start it.

Unable to start extract(pump)

Iam unable to start extract. It failed with following error:
'Database login information not specified in parameter file'.
Configuration of extract is as follows:

I don't understand the problem you have with the requirements to have the database connection specified in the parameter file. It's not a matter of debate. Write your own replication program/application if you don't like having to do this.
Include the following parameters plus any others that apply to your database environment.

Unable to start extract for Mysql DB on windows

Hi,
I have installed Mysql database on windows machine, also installed GoldenGate
and i have edited the my.cnf (C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.5) file with below entries,

To locate the configuration file, Extract checks the MYSQL_HOME environment variable: If MYSQL_HOME is set, Extract uses the configuration file in the specified directory. If MYSQL_HOME is not set, Extract queries the information_schema.global_variables table to determine the MySQL installation directory.

Unable to start Oracle Process Manager from the windows services for OBIEE

Hi,
I have OBIEE 11g installed on a 32-bit windows machine. Of the two windows services installed, I am unable to start the Oracle Process Manager. When I try to start it I get the following error:
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
At the back end, this service is calling the file opmn.exe which is placed at MIDDLEWAREHOME\Oracle_BI1\opmn\bin. On trying to execute this file the error we get is:
The procedure entry point longjmp could not be located in the dynamic link library orauts.dll
I have tried replacing the orauts.dll file, but to no avail.
Please let me know if you have any clue regarding what is to be done.

Hi Naman,
This error occurs for the following reasons,
*Path variable is not set properly
*Multiple Oracle homes exists in the same machine.
Follow the below steps and let me know if it works,
1. Select My Computer -> Right Click -> Properties
2. In the System Properties screen go to Advanced Tab
3. Click on Environment Variables
4. In the System Variables section select PATH variable & Click edit
5. Now you will find that it will contain invalid directories. Remove the incorrect entries. This may happen when you have multiple oracle homes in the same machine
6. Restart the service.

when i am trying to start DataPump process then it send me the error.
GGS ERROR ZZ-0KL The trail './dirdat/ta' is not assigned to extract 'EPMP2'. Assign the trail to the extract with the command "ADD EXTTRAIL/RMTTRAIL ./dirdat/ta, EXTRACT EPMP2.
cant' start all the procees..

This problem related to assigning the trail file to pump process, Make sure the below steps which you have configured correctly,
Primary Extract:
GGSCI > ADD EXTRACT <ext name>, TRANLOG, BEGIN NOW
GGSCI > ADD EXTTRAIL <path of local trail file in source server > , EXTRACT <above same ext name >
For data pump process(secondary extract):
GGSCI > ADD EXTRACT <pump name > , EXTTRAILSOURCE < above same local trail file path >
For remote trail :
ADD RMTTRAIL < path of remote trail file, which is the path in remote server > , EXTRACT < above pump name>

Unable to start BPm process

Hi
I have a process model with a start process (wsdl which takes some inputs) and then next task assigned to a dynamic user based on inputs in start process.
While I try to start the process manually from nwa by giving inputs i see teh error "Failed to start the process; Process manager adapter may not be started; error= com.sap.glx.adapter.api.AdapterException: Process start failed due to TransitionException"
This error pops up randomly whenever I change some user mapping at the second level task (not start process and next task)
Any clues?

Unable to start the process chain

Hi ,
I am trying to start a process chain manually , but it gives me a message saying process has no predecesssor ?
what should be done to start the chain?

Did you copy processes from another chain? Sometimes when this happens, you end up copying all the processes.
First, remove the process chain from scheduling. In RSPC, at the top, select Process Chain --> Remove from Schedule. This will delete all the batch jobs for the process chain.
Next, move all the processes in the process chain with your mouse. Sometimes the maintenance will put one process on top of another so you cannot see them all. By moving all the processes, you may find the "unattached" process so you can remove it from the process chain.

Unable to start opmn process.

I have done a new fresh install of Ebusiness Suite release 12.1.1 in a Windows 2003 Server, but at Validate System Configuration Post Install steps there are some failures. After that I am trying to start "opmn" process without any process.

opmnctl: starting opmn and all managed processes...
Could not create process by
C:\OracleClient10gR2\opmn\bin\opmn.exe -a -q ping
with error The system cannot find the file specified.

Timed out waiting for OPMN to initialize. OPMN may be down or
taking a long time to initialize. Will not attempt to start
processes because OPMN is unreachable. If OPMN is initializing,
retrying the command may prove successful. If OPMN is down,
correct the underlying problem before retrying the command.
Any advice or help to solve this problem will be really appreciated.

I installed EPM 11.1.2.1 on Windows 2008 R2.
Oracle database 11g.
I installed and configured every thing was working fine. But suddenly the Oracle Process Manager service is not starting.
I checked in event viewer the following error i found:

Hello,
Using "Oracle Application Server" 10g. Right Now, I am getting below error while starting oracle application server by using below commands.
./opmnctl startall ( To start entire oracle service modules)
./opmnctl startproc process-type=WebCache
Both commands giving below error.

Hi,
I have not experience with Oracle Names resolution, but did you start the server "NAMESCTL> START" ? (I'm not sure)
On the client, the SQLNET.ORA file contains an entry that lists onames first in the NAMES.DIRECTORY_PATH parameter ?
e.g.: NAMES.DIRECTORY_PATH=(onames, tnsnames, hostname)
There are some messages on the listener.log file ?

Today when I started OPMN my OID server was up but EMAGENT is down. (till yesterday it was working fine).
I even run, opmnctl startproc process-type=EMAGENT
but could not start EMAGENT.
Below are the log content.
