Unable to start managed console - unix

I'm having problems starting a managed server in Unix -- using the startManagedWebLogic.sh,
with the weblogic name of the managed server and http://adminIP:port as the parameters.
Saying it can't find the managed server.
Is this some type of access problem? I'm just sitting here staring at it not
knowing what to even try.

Error showing disp+work.exe while starting management console

Hai,
I tried to install ABAP 7.01 trial version to practice webdynpro.. I did almost like
installing msloopback adapter
installed maxdb
installed AS
installed SAPGUI
When I try to start management console it is giving disp+work.exe error .
With reference to previous threads I tried changing the myname property in stderr2.
My computer name was given as d5 but in the following error it is telling as d5-88bb1f5849dc_NSP_00 .
I changed my computer name as d5 in controlpanel->system->computername.
In management console below NSP server a blue box showing my computername with this extension 88bb1f5849dc... I think because of this the max char exceeds 20. Any idea to fix this....

In Admin Console We are unable to start Managed Server.

Hi,
We are using Weblogic 10.3.1.0 version.
Totaly 4 Managed Severs
1 Admin Server
with Nodemanger.
In Admin Console When ever we going to Stop the Manged Servers.
1. Environment ----- > Servers ---- > Control ----------- > Mananged Server 1 -----------> Force shutdown
2. Then click refresh button ---- showing "FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE"
3. after that when ever we going to start the Managed Server in Admin console
First its Showing ----- Starting
and next its showing ----- FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE
4. its not coming to Running State.

Unable to start Managed server from admin console using nodemanager

I changed the ip address and hostname of the server on which Weblogic Server 10.3.5 is running. After that I am unable to start the managed servers using Admin console. Is there any changes in the nodemanager configuration files which need to be done to start the managed servers from admin console.

Can you check the following configuration in Weblogic admin console ?
1- Check which listen address mentioned under the Machine configuration ( Environment > Machines > select appropriate nodemanager machine >Configuration > Node Manager ). If it is pointing to old host name, change it to new one.
2- Once you done with Step 1. Check whether the machine is reachable or not. ( Machine > [Your Machine] > Monitoring > status.
3- If still isuse persists.. Check the managed server startup log files ( for eg:- managedserver1.out under the path $DOMAIN_HOME\Servers\managedserver1\logs directory.

The problem is found.
We tried to startup managed server by running startManagedServer.sh script, but this script expecting to get parameters.
The NodeManager unable to send parameters to script that appears in nodemanager.properties file (StartScriptName).
So, I created a new script startPIA.sh, that calls to startManagedServer.sh and sends it 2 parameters:
./startManagedWebLogic.sh $SERVER_NAME $ADMIN_URL
Now, we can start and stop managed servers from admin console, BUT we still have an error in NodeManager:

Unable to start managed servers from Admin Console "FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE"

I recently installed WebLogic 10.3.5, JRockit, and ECM 11.1.1.5. I'm to the point where I am trying to get Nodemanager configured so I can stop/start managed servers through the admin console. I have the following listed in Environment > Servers:
AdminConsole - running
IBR_server1 - FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE
managedServer1 - FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE
UCM_server1 - FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE
I followed the tutorial at http://blogs.oracle.com/jamesbayer/entry/weblogic_nodemanager_quick_sta to get to the point where the AdminServer starts when the server reboots, so I think Nodemanager is working there. If I view Machines > Monitoring, it says Nodemanager "Reachable." However, when I go to restart IBR_server1, managedServer1, or UCM_server1, I get the FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE status. I am using the weblogic server's IP for the machine name/host because our DNS is still screwed up. Would that have any affect on this?
I'm completely unsure what to do now. The Nodemanager log shows:

E:\oracle\middleware\wlserver_10.3\common\nodemanager\nodemanager.domains
The domains file contains
base_domain=e\:\\oracle\\middleware\\user_projects\\domains\\base_domain
Which is correct.
Any idea what I'm missing here? I can provide more detail if needed. Thank you.
EDIT: I should add that I can start the UCM and IBR managed servers using the start up scripts on the server, but that's not what I'm after. I want everything controlled through the AdminConsole and want to be sure that when the server reboots, all the managed servers come back up correctly.

I did a bit of digging, and it seems I have an issue with -Xnohup... I've verified this arugment exists in all of my managed servers properties files, yet it still bombs when I try to restart from the webLogic console. I should note that if I start fresh from the server, I can start all my manager servers using WLST nmStart().

Unable to start Manager server using Node Manager

Hi,
I have deployed Admin server in one of my unix machine(machine1) and i able to start my Admin server using node manager, and when i try to start my Managed server in another machine(machine2) using the node manager(that machine node manager) its throwing error;
Note: am able to start Managed server using Adminurl and able to connect to Managed server node manager successfully,
but not able to start Managed server using node manager
its giving exception as below;

Totaly 4 Managed Severs
1 Admin Server
with Nodemanger.
In Admin Console When ever we going to Stop the Manged Servers.

Just at first glance, it seems as though you have one or more configuration issues, perhaps inconsistencies between the node manager server configuration files and the domain's config.xml
nmConnect('weblogic', 'w3bl0g1c', 'ukirt156', '5556', 'twp_domain', '/appl/weblogic/oracle/middleware/user_projects/domains/twp_domain', 'plain')
nmStart('twpserver1')
implies that tmp_domain is configured in /appl/weblogic/oracle/middleware/user_projects/domains, (which is the default from the configuration wizard). However, the node manager and server output logs make it seem like it's trying to use a domain in the directory /appl/weblogic/scripts. Not sure how that happened, perhaps you had two domains? Perhaps copied or moved the domain files? Something else?
In any case, start by checking out your nodemanager.domains file and ensure that it reflects your intended domain directory.

Then, I tried to start Default Console, But I failed. It displays the following

I enter "system" as user and my password as configured. The following error msg

Hi.
I'm not clear on this - are you having problems running the server, or only invoking the console? What happens when you just try to run the server - does it start or does it give you this error?
Also, Windows ME is not a supported OS, but you might get it working.

Unable to start Admin Console in Internet Explorer

Hi All,
I Installed EPM 11.1.2 and all the configurations were succeeded with out any issues.
When i open Adminbistration console i am able to open but when i open with IE using the url : http://svalmiki-pc:10080/easconsole/console.html i am getting a popup window message of Java.

I am using Windows 2000 Server and I can't to start up admin console from http://localhost:7001/console.
My Internet Explorer browser (version 5.0) always hung up (task manager shows
'not responding...') ... IE5 can run applet, etc...
Someone said to me that it is a problem with some windows services ...

It works if you have running "protected store" service from your Windows Server
2000.
When this service is stopped o disabled, i can't connect to weblogic console.

Node Manager unable to start managed Server. SSL Handshake problem

I am getting the following Error:

This happens when the SSL communication between the admin and the node
manager fails. The SSL configuration of the admin server or the node

Unable to start Managed server

Hi, i am trying to start a managed server using the command
./startManagedWebLogic.sh Server-0 aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd:7001
where aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd is the IP of my admin server's IP. I encountered a channel conflict error message below. May i know what is the cause of it? i am using WL10 developer.

So do you have adminserver as well?
If so, is the admin port enabled?
My guess is that you are trying to use a port that the admin server is already using

This is probably a newbie question. I am eager to start using the very interesting jRockit Mission Control features, but am stuck at the very beginning.
I have set up my PATH to point to the jrockit-R27.1.0-jdk1.5.0_08\bin directory, but the following command results in an error:
C:\>java -Xmanagement:autodiscovery=true MyClass
[ERROR][mgmnt ] Error when calling startAgent: management-agent.jar (autodiscovery=true)
[ERROR][mgmnt ] Could not create the Java virtual machine.Any ideas?

Hi again,
If you run JRMC against a local instance of jrockit, you don't even need
the -Xmanagement switch, so java MyClass it is enough.
