Unable to start my subscription
When opening Adobe Acrobat XI Standard, I get a dialogue box that says it's validating my License status online. I'm current with payment but I get this message below:
I've tried a couple of times within the hours and to no avail. How to fix please.

Please try some steps below,
Windows
Click on the "Start" menu. Select "All Programs" and then "Accessories"
Right-click on "Notepad" and select "Run as Administrator"
Click "Continue" on the "Windows needs your permission" dialog
When Notepad opens, click File and select Open
In the filename field type the following:
C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts
If any entries in the host file include keywords such as "adobe," ask the user to delete those entries. These are used for Adobe Licensing.
From the "File" menu select "Save" after making changes
Restart Muse
Macintosh
Click on the "Finder" icon. Select the "Applications" folder
Open the "Utilities" folder and select "Terminal"
Type the following:
sudo nano /etc/hosts
Enter the OS user's associated password when prompted
If any entries in the host file include keywords such as "adobe," ask the user to delete those entries. These are used for Adobe Licensing.
Press control+o to save the file
Press control+x to close the file
Restart Muse

Help with starting my subscription on cs5? Says they're unable to start my subscription?
My serial code is valid but it says (quote) "We are unable to start your subscription for Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 Extended Subscription Edition". Please help! I'm eager to try this photoshop considering many people have recomended it over CS6!!
Photoshop CS5.1 (12.1) was the first version which supported subscription licensing.

I can't recall how the activation was handled back then though. Where did you purchase the subscription? Do you have access to the current Photoshop CC subscription version, and does it launch?

Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

as strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.
Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)
I quote: ... helps resolve installation problems for Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Creative Suite (CS3-CS6) applications. The tool removes installation records for prerelease installations of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications. It does not affect existing installations of previous versions of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications.

What OS? What are you doing when you get this message? Does your account at Adobe show your subscription? Basically, we have no clue where this message is coming from and it is hard to even start trying to address the issue.

i bought photoshop cs5 with serial numbers.it was working and never ask for subscription...now it is asking for subscription....why it want it and how to do it
uninstall cs5, clean cs5 and cc (Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6) and then reinstall cs5 using your serial number.

below this error message it says: "our servers are currently offline for scheduled maintenance. we appolagise for the delay. please try again later". i have tried it a few times over about 45 minutes. does it actually take a really long time or is there something wrong with my computer. running windows 7 with pretty good internet speed. please help
AcowanSF2 you have the subscription edition of Illustrator as well? If so are you utilizing a firewall or making modifications to your host file which might be preventing the software from checking in to make sure your subscription is still valid?
