Hi Pardi ,
Hope you have done this workaround , If not please try to Look for basic Server URLs, Port Numbers, Connection Strings, Domains & File Locations in BPEL.xml file /.esbsvc and try to
Change according to new (Current) Server URLs, Port Numbers, Connection Strings, Domains & File Locations
Example:
======
partnerLinkBinding name=”BPELProcess1”>
<property name=”wsdlLocation”> BPELProcess1.wsdl</property>
<property name=”wsdlRuntimeLocation”>http://host:port/orabpel/default/ABCDistribution /1.0/ABCDistribution?wsdl</property>
</partnerLinkBinding>
To
<partnerLinkBinding name=”BPELProcess1“>
<property name=”wsdlLocation”>BPELProcess1.wsdl</property>
<property
name=”wsdlRuntimeLocation”>http://mysoaserver.mydomain.com:7777/orabpel/default/BPELProcess1/1.0/BPELProcess1?wsdl</property>
</partnerLinkBinding>

Problems in starting Admin server for soa suite in windows 7 homebasic
Hi All,
I installed SOA Suite R1 in my laptop running windows 7 home basic version.
Its 64 bit OS but I installed the files in win32 folder as it didn't allow me to install the generic file and even win64 file.
installation was successful but after installation once I try to start the weblogic admin server using
startAdminServer.cmd through my command prompt. It is running for few seconds and command prompt is getting closed abruptly and nothing comes up.
It's very strange and I am not able to find out... Please help me.
Thanks In Advance.Ideally you should be able to set up the 64-bit generic installer not sure of the reason...
Please use the correct version of 64 bit jdk and check the logs
You can check out the weblogic admin server logs

Unable to start Oracle Soa suite 10g on Windows 7
I am able install oracle soa suite 10g on Windows7 platform. But I am unable to start Oracle Soa Suite 10g. Wenever I am starting the SOA suite a new window is popping up the default color scheme of windows 7 is getting changed, but after that this window is disappearing without showing any error. From the task manager console I can see that a javaw process is getting started, but this opmn process is not getting started.
System configuration -
OS : Windows7
RAM: 2 GB
SOA Suite installation : Default (Including JDK and DataBase configuration).
If you have any resolution to this strange problem please let me know. Thanks in advance.I would be surprised if the amount of RAM in your machine is a limiting factor...
These blog posts contain useful info when running SOA Suite with resources on the low end of the spectrum. You could also use the [BPM AMI on Amazon EC2|http://www.deltalounge.net/wpress/2010/06/soa-suite-11gr1-ps2-notes-and-blogs/] ...

I have not created clusters as i have only one soa server and so i think i dont need to use the node manager to start the soa server . I am starting the server using the command prompt .
Basically what i did and how i created the domains is below.
Note : NO cluster so NO node manager and everryting is by command prompt
i selected the options like
First domain:-
Oracle soa suite,
EM,
JRF
(Admin Server + One SOA Server )
Deployment and servcies i chose by default and so-infra is down
Second Domain:-
Oracle soa suite for developers,
EM,
JRF,
(Admin server + One server )
Deployment and servcies i chose by default and so-infra is down
Third domain:-
Oracle soa suite for developers,
EM,
JRF,
( Only one admin server which is working fine )
Deployment and servcies i chose by default and so-infra is UP and running
Fourth and fifth domain :-
Repeating the fiirst and second domain along with BPM and BAM this time
Deployment and servcies i chose by default and so-infra is down
This is all i did . Please correct me if am wrong.
Thanks -

Uanble to open the App server console after installing the Oracle soa suite
Hello,
after installing the oracle soa suite 10.3.1.0 we are unable to open the application server console. it gives "page not found" error.
We have installed on a Win2000 server instance.
We have selected all the default values while installing.
any input is appreciated.
regardsWe had the same problem today:
1. From cmnd line, from your ...\opmn\bin directory run "opmnctl startall".
2. That will tell you where the log files are and what they're called. If the log file error was like mine, "Could not reserve enough space for your object heap.", then you need to try setting your maxpermsize=128 in oc4j_opmn.xml and opmn.xml
This resolved the issue for me, hope it helps. -

BorisHi Boris,
Looks like you have not run the post upgrade script for 10.1.3.4.
You need to install SOA 10.1.3.4 Basic Installation. Then start following : http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12524_01/core.1013/e13058/weblogic.htm#BHCIIBFB
You basically, first install 10.1.3.4 basic SOA install, Apply the Opatch 7337034 (HOTPLUG: SOASUITE 10.1.3.4 ON WEBLOGIC 9.2 - CHANGES FOR HOTPLUGGABILITY). Install WLS 9.2 MP3.
Now, Download the Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.4 WebLogic Server 9.2 : patch : 7490612.
Then , Modify the following mandatory installation properties in the Weblogic_SOA10134_Base\SOADomain.properties file as per the documentation above.
Cheers

In the unzipped BPEL software folder for installation there is no such file.
Have installed several Oracle SOA suite 10.3.1.0 on windows server 2003 - 32 bit using the same software.
But now am using it along with a patch- p6712338 for windows server 2008-64 bit.If this is a production instance, you should NOT read past this sentence -- contact Oracle support to do it right.
If this is just for testing/experiments, have you tried putting an empty file at D:\software\bpel\bpel_oc4j\install\log.properties? How about putting a copy of the file from one of your "windows server 2003 - 32 bit" installations?
Good luck, Andy -

We plan to install Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.4 (OC4J) HA cluster on Red Hat Linux 64 bit operating system.
Are there any special instructions for 64 bit install compared to regular 32 bit install?
Any inputs will be really helpful.
-Thanks
VJYes there is some additional steps
if you are doing clustering this should be your bible

Hi All,
I am trying to install Oracle SOA Suite Extension (following http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/install.1111/e13666/ojdig.htm#CHDFCHGA), but the 'Help/Check for Updates' didn't find 'SOA Suite Composite Editor'.
Installed JDeveloper 11g Properties:

To overcome the issue i reinstalled JDeveloper 11g (where i delete the environment variables, registry and installed folder) but same thing.
where as i tried to install the 'soa-jdev-extension.zip' but it requires the extension :
oracle.studio min=11.1.1.1.33.54.07 Not installed and
oracle.j2ee min=11.1.1.1.33.54.07 Not installed
Its very confusing, where the installed JDeveloper studio version is 11.1.1.2.36.55.36.

Hello Everyone,
I would like to start a discussion on the OEM 12c see if anyone has used for SOA Suite 10g. We are currently running on Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.5 we want to make use of OEM 12c for monitoring and perform administration activities. I have gone through some Oracle documents for OEM 12c,I found it's supported up to 10.1.3.4.However I am not so sure so I just wanted to clarify on this.
Can we install the client in Oracle Application Server/SOA OC4J container to perform any administration task, purging, patching, monitor interfaces etc.
I look forward to your valuable input and feedback on the discussion.
Best Regards,Hi,
The zip p6511843_101330_Generic.zip contains a README.txt which explains the steps to be followed to apply this patch.
In the README.txt
Refer to Section2 point No.1.
Get the latest Opatch from metalink for bug 2617419.[this zip will contain a Opatch Directory].Extract this zip into your Oracle SOA home.[ex: C:/product/101.3.1/OracleAS_1]
Also make sure that the Opatch directory in set in the path.
Since we are running this Opatch on a Basic SOA installtion , you don't have to execute the changeNamesWindows.pl script[make sure that you have installed Basic version of SOA and not the Advanced].
This patch will not work on Advanced Install.
You can directly excute
opatch apply.
Follow the remaining steps mentioned in README.txt.
Thanks

I am using JDevelpoer 10.1.3.5 and SOA Suite 10g. Please help me to figure it out.
ThanksMake sure you use the similar version of soa suite and JDev 10135. If you are using JDev 10.1.3.5, your soa suite version should be 10.1.3.5. I was just wondering if you were ever able to deploy any other process successfully from the similar JDev and on similar SOA Suite ? If not you need to revisit your soa suite installation again.
Also check the log files on the server to see if any errors are recorded. -
Error Installing Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.1
Hi Gurus,
I was in the process of installing Oracle SOA suite 10.1.3.1 on Windows 2003, the installer seemed to take a lot of time at the 92% point, a closer examination that was the point at which the opmnctl was starting the services. After that, the installer proceeds to conclude the setup successfully but the opmn log indicates an error as shown below

The installer then indicates that the setup is successful despite the OPMN error. After the setup however, the Application server configuration assistant and the OPMN configuration assistant fail with the errors below:

I have not been able to establish the cause of this problem, any help will be greatly appreciated.
EdwinI have tried that option but the result was the same, however, I realized that there was a .err file among the installation logs and below are the contents:
