Unable to start the Test Drive
Hi,
I have some problems to start the test drive on my Macbook OS X.
After i start the catalina.sh, the terminal says this:
Unable to connect to the samples database. *
* You must start the samples database before you can run the samples. *
* To start the samples database: *
* 1. Open a command prompt and go to the {install-dir}/sampledb dir *
* 2. Run startdb.bat (Windows) or startdb.sh (Unix-based systems)
After I follow the instructions and start the startdb.sh the terminal says this:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/hsqldb/Server
What is wrong?
I hope you can help me.

doing the java call as explained above works. Also, for me it just seemed that I needed to do the "./" to the command, even if I was in the directory. So:
./startdb.sh
Oh, and just to clarify, the smaples page in blaze will tell you how to get the sampleDB running even if it's running. B/C it was at the top and in a bordered box I thought it was an error.

Unable to start the Dolby audio driver after updating windows 10
I am using a Lenovo Laptop G510 that came with Windows 8 preinstalled. Yesterday I updated it to Windows 10 and after that whenever I boot my pc to desktop I get an error message saying that "Unable to start the Dolby audio driver". I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Audio driver from my computer but still the error comes up. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks
hi Abrahamjoy,
Can you try these steps:
1. Follow this guide on how to disable automatic driver installation.
2. Press the Windows key +X and choose Device Manager. On the Device Manager, navigate to
- Sound, video and game controllers > right click on Conexant SmartAudio or IDT High Definition Audio > choose uninstall > and ensure the delete the driver software for this device is checked.
3. Press the Windows key +X and choose Programs and Features. On the list of apps, uninstall anything that relates to the Conexant/IDT & Dolby then reboot.
4. After the reboot, download and install the driver below (this should install the audio & dolby components)
- Audio Driver (Conexant) for Windows 10 (64-bit) - Lenovo G410, G510
When finished, you the audio & dolby settings should now work and the errors should not pop-up anymore.
Edit:

Let me know how it goes.

Unable to start the Universal Connection Pool error
Hi,
I am trying to deploy two instances of one and the same web application on Tomcat 6. I have application test.war, I have copied and renamed it to test2.war and moved both wars in Tomcat' webapps folder. One of those (which Tomcat decides to start first) correctly gets connection from PoolDataSourceFactory.getPoolDataSource() and works fine, but the second throws this exception while trying to get database connection.
Please help,
Thanks

HP Pavilion G6-2321ee
Intel core I5

AMD Radeon HD graphics
And i have Razer surround sound driver installed and I tried to uninstall it and try dolby and it didn't work
This question was solved.
View Solution.Hi mido112k,
I understand that you are having a problem installing the Dolby Home theater on your HP Pavilion G6-2321ee Notebook PC. I will try my best to help you with this.
I suggest that you restore the original Performing an HP System Recovery (Windows 7) and then install the update driver.
I hope this helps, please let me know.
Thank you,

Snow Leopard crashed : unable to find the hard drive in Disk utility
Hello,
A few days ago, my computer (running on Snow Leopard 10.6.3) suddently crashed (no recent update, no new software or hardware installation).
Since then, i'm unable to start the computer. It freezes on the start screen with the apple and the loading bar. Sometimes i've got an empty folder with a question mark.
I tried to start with the install CD, and when i select Disk utility, it only recognizes the DVD, not the hard drive (then i cannot even try to repair it).
When i want to re-install Snow Leopard, i arrive on an empty screen on which i'm asked to choose a drive to install on. Of course as i cannot choose a drive, i cannot install.
Finally, when i try to start with no errors (pressing Maj button when starting), i've got a kernel panic error saying "unable to find driver for this platform ACPI"
Can anyone help me ?
thanks in advance.Your hard drive has had a serious malfunction. It might be that it is software: your partition table may be corrupt. If so, this may be fixable if you take it to a local Apple certified tech. However, it is more likely that it is hardware and the drive itself has failed. I hope you have a backup. If you do, you will need to replace the drive and restore the backup to the new drive. If you don't and you have important data on that drive (and if you have important data, why don't you have a backup?) you will need to contact one of the data recovery services, such as Drive Savers or Rescuecom. Be advised that the price for data recovery starts at $200 and heads upwards really quickly, depending on what the exact problem with the drive is. I have seen data recovery charges of $3000 and more for seriously screwed up drives.
Having a backup is a lot easier and a lot cheaper. -
Error: Unable to start the bluetooth stack service
HP Pavilion g7-2017us, Windows 7
After starting up I get the error message: UNABLE TO START THE BLUETOOTH STACK SERVICE.
First, I don't know what that means ... Second, I don't know how to remedy the problem.
Can anyone help please? ... THANKS!Steps I would suggest are:
1. Update Bluetooth Device Driver. Steps to update the device driver:
i. Click on Start
ii. Select Control Panel
iii. Select System and maintenance
iv. Click Device Manager (If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.)
v. In the Device manager locate the Blue tooth device
vi. Click the Driver tab, and then select Update driver
If its still not fixed go to step 2
2. Uninstall the Bluetooth device, restart the computer and install the latest drivers.

Unable to create the test suits file!
Dear Experts!
Getting the "Unable to create the test suits file!" error while opening .bpel file in JDeveloper 10.1.3.5. Also, all the partner links showing warning symbol. When I click on them, getting the following error:
ERROR:WSDLException: faultCode=INVALID_WSDL: Invalid XML in document at: Start of root element expected.
Looks like partner links are not mapped correctly. Could you please throw some light, where I need to fix the issue.
Appreciate your help.
Thank you.I had similar issue sometimes back, error was because sample xml my test was using wasn't conforming to my code. In my case, I didn't write test suite so deployment was successful and was getting error while testing post deployment. In your case, test suite will execute.
Try to follow your xslt mapping or any xpath statements within bpel flow, it must be having direct mapping of some element from source but your sample input xml might not be having that element and hence resulting in error. Try iterative debugging by adding more elements in input xml.

BTTray Error: Unable to start the Bluetooth Stack Service
I have a HP TouchSmart 610-1190f operating system Windows 7 64-bit
I installed Norton 360 back in January and ran the registry program which corrupted the Bluetooth.
BTTray Error: Unable to start the Bluetooth Stack Service. I know that a system restore will take care of it, but when it happened I did not know that and I also did not know that I can't go back in time like Windows XP. I've tried reinstalling the driver with no luck. Is my only option a System Recovery?Product Name: HP H8-1160t
Product Number: QC45AV#ABA
I spent over 3 hours with HP chat and in typical fashion they could not solve the problem and requested I restore to original OS. I refused. HP Support needs to figure out a way to RESOLVE a customer problem without first jumping to "please restore your system".
After a second call to HP, they sent me a replacement Wireless Card, and much to my surprise the Hardware Tech showed up as scheduled on a SATURDAY no less; even after being told by HP that no weekend calls are made.
Anyway, the very nice service tech installed the new part and ...drum roll....wait for it...Voila!!!!
NO FIX!! As expected. Why Did HP Software Support think the new card would fix the issue?? HP Software Support is virtually USELESS, actually, lets just say without any equivocation at all: HP SOFTWARE Support is USELESS; HARDWARE SUPPORT IS FANTASTIC...
OK. I FIXED the problem myself:
I downloaded the Broadcom fix:
sp56715.exe
Available from:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp56501-57000/ sp56715.exe (eliminate the spaces...HP forum would not let me load this VALID site.
I am NOT POSITIVE THAT DOWNLOAD IS FOR YOUR VERSION, BE CERTAIN TO CHECK SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS.
Rebooted, Bluetooth service started up, NO BTTray Stack Error, discovered my device (old LG Cell Phone), connected, and I was able to access the MY Music, Pictures, Video files finally.
Trust me, HP Software Support is a waste of time. -
Hi
I am running these tests using VS2012 on a remote desktop. The session is alive when I try to run it. The Window is not minimized.
The tests run fine on my own machine. The VM has test agent and controller installed on it, but I am not using them right now to run the tests. Do you know what setting on my machine might casue this issue ?

Thank you for your post.
“The VM has test agent and controller installed on it, but I am not using them right now to run the tests.”
In this case, how do you run the Coded UI test on the VM? You start the Coded UI test from your own machine and then open the remote desktop session to make the test run on VM?
If yes, I am afraid that you can’t do like that. You need to use the test controller and the agent in order to run the test on the remote desktop. Or you create the app and do coded UI test against it on the VM completely.
If I have misunderstood anything, please feel free to let me know.

BOFC Unable to start the data source
Hi there,
i've done a standalone install using SQL 2008 R2 express. But i'm unable to start the data source and get this error:
Failed to start data source
Failed to start server instances on machine DELL1.
Failed to initialize server configured on machine DELL1.
Class not registered
Thanks,
AneesOk, problem solved.
I had to create a seperate DCOM user and assign it to the following roles in windows:
log on as a batch job
log on as a service
then assign this DCOM user to the Ctbroker and CTserver. As i'm not running this on a domain, there was no need to use 'packet level authentication'. So i set the authentication level to none.
There was no need to use the web based admin interface. Ctadmin.msc worked perfectly.
Thanks,

Unable to start the weblogic server from windows environment
Hi All,
In our training system we have installed the SOA 11g and it worked fine till today afternoon. We have logged off the admin user in windows account and logged with our login credentials into windows after that we are unable to start the weblogic server.
- Earlier in the DOS command prompt we used to navigate to the path where the startWeblogic.cmd file located and then we execute the command, after that we will able to see the status message as RUNNING MODE in the bottom of the screen, and when ever we deploy an project using Jdeveloper in the weblogic server window some messages will appended based on the action.
- Only when we issue the command to shut down the weblogic server at that time only the command will be back to the path from where we started the server.
- After login to windows with our account, when we tried to start the weblogic server, it didn't throw any error instead of that after running few lines in the command window the prompt was back in to the (D:\Middleware\.....\Domains\bin)path from where we ran the command to start the server.
Please help us to resolve the issue asap.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
SathyaseelanHi,
Make sure that the user which you are using to start weblogic server should be part of Administrator group or the group to which your admin user belongs to.
