Unable to submit an interactive form

Hello Experts!
I have a problem submitting an interactive form, because I only get a wait message for minutes and minutes and nothing happens. There is no error message or something else.
The same problem starts if I want to upload a local saved interactive form.
I have checked my versions of:
Adobe Reader (7.0.9)
Java Runtime Environment (1.5)
IE (6)
and every thing seems to be fine.
FrontEnd and ADS are integrated. ActiveX is activated.
I think it is a local problem with my PC, because the same interactive form is submitted instantly on my colleagues PC`s.
What can I do to fix the problem?

Most likely your local Reader or xACF installation.
SAP advises to use Reader 8.1 as several bugs are fixed in this version.

I'm unable to fill out interactive form fields in the pdf tax form in Reader 11.0.06 with purple bar inviting to do so.

The only Flash Player that is remotely connected to Adobe Reader is the plugin.
Can you temporarily uninstall the plugin (or both ActiveX and plugin using http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html and see if the problem disappears?

Unable to test Adobe interactive form from webdynpro

This is the out put i get when i test run the report 'FP_TEST_IA_01'.As suggested in SAP NOTE : 999998
ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: Could not retrieve a password for credential: ReaderRights(200.101).
Actually i was trying my first Adobe interactive form with webdynpro and when i tested it i got this message.
The following error text was processed in the system NED : WebDynpro Exception: The ADS call has failed. You can find information about the cause in the error.pdf on the application server
Does Adobe interactive form requires Java stack to be active??
Or is it only a configuration issue in ADS???
What all should i take care in order to successfully run an adobe interactive form???

Will this also take care of ADS configuration.Where can i find a guide to ADS configuration and ZCI installation.

Minimum Reader version to submit an interactive form?

I have successfully created and distributed a simple fillable PDF form using Acrobat Pro 8 (Mac) with enabled rights. Several users have returned the completed form with no problem. One user gets an error message when the SUBMIT button is pressed - "that action is not allowed" or something similar. The user has Reader 6.XX (Mac).
Two questions:
1) Is Reader 6.XX to old to handle form submissions? (if not, what could be the problem?) The user has email & internet access.
2) For future reference in giving instructions to users, what are the minimum requirements for filling out forms (i.e., WHAT LEVEL OF READER (or other Adobe application), other settings, etc.)?

In firefox I am unable to submit information via form buttons. The buttons are present and clickable but nothing happens once they are clicked.

I am having trouble submitting information via form buttons. I click on the button but nothing happens. It isn't site specific and is a problem that has only started to happen recently. I have uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it without any rememdy. The problem does not replicate itself in Chrome or Internet Explorer. Can anyone advise what maybe the problem? Is it s a javascript setting within firefox that I may have accidentally turned off? Please help.

I am pretty sure you had the same diagnosis and solution to start it in safe mode, and if it does work, go disabling each extension one by one until you determine which extension is the culprit.

Submit Interactive Form using button on Wed Dynpro page instead of in PDF

Say I've a Web Dynpro page with an interactive form embedded. Is it possible to have on the page an HTMLB button, when clicked, submit the interactive form to an iView on EP? I haven't found any tutorials showing something like this. Please advice. Basically I need to make this adobe form/web dynpro app interact with the portal (passing the completed form to the portal)? any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks again.

I don't get your exact requirements.
What i get is, you want submit to SAP button outside the adobe forms and on the webdynpro page.
Yes, you can do this thing. Whenever webdynpro page has any events at that time whatever the values on the adobe form are reflected into the node which you have bound with the Interactiveform UI element.
So, you can place your button outside adobe form also.
Now, for "submit the interactive for to an iView or EP" I can't get exactly what you want. But i can say that you can manipulate your adobe form in code using pdfObject.
Check the SAP tutorial for manipulating pdfObject.

Generate Adobe Interactive Form in background and setpdfSource value.

Is there any way to create Adobe Interactive Form in the background assigning R/3 data (without displaying) and assign pdfSource binary information in context attribute and later, display Adobe Interactive Form using pdfSource context attribute in a new window?
if Adobe Interactive Form is in Visible state, I'm also able to display Adobe Interactive Form in a new window using pdfSource binary context attribute, .
But, unable to create Adobe Interactive form in the background when Adobe Interactive Form Visibility is NONE and unable to assign binary data to pdfSource attribute in context and hence unable to display Adobe Interactive Form in a new window. Kindly help me if this process is possible.

This is certainly possible. First populate the dataSource context node with the data (e.g. coming from R/3). Then use <a href="http://help.sap.com/javadocs/NW04S/current/wd/com/sap/tc/webdynpro/clientserver/adobe/api/WDInteractiveFormHelper.html">WDInteractiveFormHelper.getContextDataAsStream</a> to obtain the data.xml as a byte[] by calling toByteArray() on the ByteArrayOutputStream. The next step is to obtain the xdp template as a byte[] (I don't know exactly how to do this, but it's certainly possible using some API, just as you would read other resources deployed within your Web Dynpro). When you have both the template and the data, you can use the <a href="http://help.sap.com/javadocs/NW04S/current/wd/com/sap/tc/webdynpro/clientserver/adobe/pdfdocument/api/package-summary.html">PDFDocument</a> API to render a PDF, something as WDPDFDocumentFactory.getDocumentHandler().getDocumentContext().getDocumentCreationContext(); set the data and the template and other options like interactive, call execute and retrieve the pdf byte[] from the returned object. Eventually you can assign the pdf byte[] to the pdfSource context attribute. In case you use NW04, you must use the <a href="http://help.sap.com/javadocs/NW04S/current/wd/com/sap/tc/webdynpro/pdfobject/api/package-summary.html">PDFObject</a> instead.
Besides, why would you want to create the PDF before displaying it?

We are in the process of developing an interactive form integrating Web Dynpro ABAP with Adobe forms.
As of now we are able to send the data to Adobe form from Web Dynpro.
But we are facing the following problem.
i) Unable to edit the form data for entering/changing the contents of the fields in PDF document, which is presented to user with a Web Dynpro application URL.
We have already unset the 'ReadOnly' property of the interactive UI element.
We are currently working on ZCI installation with SAP SP08, GUI patch level 20, Adobe Reader version 8.0

Submit Button in Interactive form is not Triggering (Webdynpro Java)

I have developed one application for Online intractive form.I have created one text box and one submit button in Intractive
Form.I created a Action method Submit.I have bound the onActionSubmit() method to onSubmit Event of Intractive Form.
For testing i am putting some value in text box and Clicking Submit button.I have set the debugger in onActionSubmit()
method.But when I am Clicking Submit button, onActionSubmit() method is not triggering.I have
1. I have used Submit to SAP button (Pallet>Library>Web Dynpro).
2.I have ACF(Active Control Framework) instalation.
3.I have WAS 6.4 and NWDS 04.
4.I have SAPForms.api in   Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\Reader\plug_ins path.
One Value Node DataSource (Cardinality 1..1) is binded into dataSource Property.And pdfSource property is binded to one value
attribute of binary Type.
I have done one application where i am getting data from R/3 System and displaying in PDF ,It is working fine.
I got below error in Log File for the above two applications.But geting the data from R/3 and displaying in PDF is working

when i click submit to SAP button in interactive form nothing happens and

The evniorment and versions you posted seems to be quite scattered, make sure all are of compatible and to the lates.
Anyways this was not the reason for your problem.
Can you tace if the button click event is triggered ....?
1) when the PDF is published can you see any of the fields editable...? reason behind is generally when you create a form in ADLC it comes up in static PDF format if its so you need to make it dynamic.
I dont know if adding the webdynpro script to your form might fix.

Interactive Forms and submit to sap

Hi Everybody!
I'm doing a application using interactive forms and web dynpro. However nothing happens when pushing the Submit to SAP button.I've been watching all foruns about this issue....but the submit to sap button doesn't work.
Could somebody tell me where I can find a read-to-use project that works fine with submit to sap button?

Unable to Save Interactive Form

Hi Experts,
I am unable to save any UI elements (viz. Table, Text Fields, etc) on an Interactive Form UI element created using NWDS.
Whenever I create new UI elements on the Interactive form and try clicking on Save Metadata Button of the NWDS the Button doesn't get disable. Similar issue is faced if I explicitily try to close the Interactive Form opened for editing. It gives a pop-up to save the interactive form. On clicking Yes on this pop-up it throws another pop-up that says Save Failed:Null
Installed version for NWDS is 2004s (version7.0 SP15)
The Program files folder on my desktop has the following folder structure
Program Files -> Adobe -> Designer7.1
Importing the form also results in the same issue
Can you please point out what I am missing?

i am also facing similar issue. whenever after making changes to interactive form i click on "Save Metadata" it has no effect on the form.
the form doesnt get saved and after reopening it shows blank form.
have you found out the reason behind this?
