Unable to syn Ipad2 with multiple apple ID

My husband and I have different apple id. He is able to sync the ipad2 from his itune.
When I login my itune with my apple id, trying to sync ipad2, by highlighting the ipad Device and choose apps and sync apps (sync apps is checked), and choose File --> sync Ipad , message is prompted : you have change the settings for Ipad. Would you like to apply these changes? I choose Apply.
Then another message is prompted:Are you sure you want to remove 51 apps. These will delete this apps and their data from the ipad.
I can see the icon Apps that i choose found in the screen but in the physical ipad, the icon apps is not found.
Why the new apps does not found in the ipad since sync to ipad is done?
I choose remove.
Another meesage is prompted:
iTunes has found purchased items on the ipad that are not present in your iTunes library. Do you want to transfer these items from this ipad to your iTunes library?
I choose : Don't Tranfer.
It will continue sync the ipad and complete.

The ipad, like the ipod and the iphone, is designed to be tied to a single user account, not to support multiple user IDs. Tell your husband you need an ipad of your own.

    Hi swagyoloswag,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
There are several different services that require signing into an Apple ID to use on your iOS device. You can sign into different Apple IDs for different services on your iPhone. For example, Apple ID #1 for iCloud and Apple ID #2 for iTunes & App Store. You cannot sign into the same service with two different Apple IDs at the same time. The attached article has a list of services that are accessible with your Apple ID.

  • TS4020 family with multiple apple accounts, can we create a secondary "family" account?

family with multiple apple accounts, can we create a secondary "family" account?

You can perfectly well create a new separwate iCloud account: for this you will need to create a new Apple ID for which you will need a non-Apple email address you haven't used elsewhere for iCloud.
That done, everyone can sign into it in System Preferences (or Settings)>Mail, Contacts & Calendars and enable the various data types in the checklist there. This is a 'secondary account': its email, Contacts and Calendars will appear alongside those in the existing 'primary account' but you don't get 'push' email (it's checked periodically) and it cannot use PhotoStream.
Note that if you've been using the same device to create other accounts, there is a limit of three iCloud accounts which can be created by any one device, so if that's been reached you would have to use another device: once done the first device can sign into it perfectly well.

  • Sync ipad2 with multiple iTunes libraries

    Hi
I am trying to work out how to sync my ipad2 with two separate iTunes libraries (one for my music, one for my wifes). The libraries are on our windows xp pc.  I can't find any help on the Apple support website. Is this even possible?
    All help gratefully received!
    Thanks
    Apopp

While you cannot sync with multiple computers or multiple libraries - you can use multiple computers with your iPad if you manually manage music in iTunes. I assume that this should work with multiple libraries on the same computer as well.
This article explains how to do it.

  • Can i use one pc with one installation of Itunes to use with multiple apple ID's?

can i use a single pc with one edition of itunes to manage multiple apple id's (without everyone's mail and message popping up on eachothers ipads/iphones etc)?

You would need the apps installed on both volumes. The versions installed on your 10.4 drive will most likely give you a "You cannot use this version, etc..." error if you try to launch them from a 10.5 volume. Some apps may run but you will end up "confusing" the system as to which instance of the app you want it to use.

  • Unable to Sign In with new Apple ID without a Credit Card

Hi, I recently created a new Apple ID, but when I try to sign in with it in iTunes on my PC, it says I need to Review my account info, which then tells me to enter my credit card information. I do NOT have a credit card, and am unable to sign into my new Apple ID. Is there any way to fix this??

Yes there is. All you have to do is buy an iTunes gift card and enter the code when it shows credit card information type your code and pick none on the credit card type.

  • Unable to sign in with my apple ID

I have been trying to sign in with my Apple ID and password.
I am taken to review the account, which means clicking through a splash, agreeing to some T & C's, and then a screen to add info like year of birth.
When I try to submit the final screen there, I see the message "An Error Occurred" and I am unable to progress. I have tried this a few times - and I'd really like to start buying films with it.
    Any ideas or help?

Ah! I've got it - and this is a bit silly. I closed down iTunes completely. Restarted, and tried the sign in again. This time also taking it slowly between each one.
I am now past that screen in the review process and have completed the setup.
So - if you get stuck with this - close down iTunes completely, open it, and try it again. I thoroughly recommend leaving it for 10 minutes too.

  • Family sharing with multiple apple ids

Just a question about family sharing. My husband and I have decided to have separate apple ids but family sharing allows us to share purchases but does this also include iCloud storage or do we each have 5GB. Also if we do this route with our son what happens to his purchases we've approved when he decides he doesn't want to be on family sharing when he's 18.

    Hi Nat8506,
Happy Holidays!  I've included complete information for Family Sharing below, but to answer your specific questions:
Each Apple ID has it's own 5 GB of iCloud Storage
Once you son turns 18, if he decides to leave the Family Sharing, any purchases made with his Apple ID will remain his and no longer available to the family.

    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201060
Leave Family Sharing - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201081
What happens to your content when you stop sharing?
When you leave Family Sharing, your Apple ID is removed from the family group, and you stop sharing music, movies, TV shows, books, and apps with any remaining family members. In addition, any photos, calendars, and reminders shared by the family group will be removed from your devices. If you chose to share your location, you'll stop sharing your location with other family members, and your devices will be removed from the family Find My iPhone device list.
Any content that your family shared with you isn't automatically removed from your device. You can purchase it again or remove it to free up space on your device. If you downloaded an app from a family member’s purchase history and made In-App Purchases, you'll need to purchase the app yourself to access your In-App Purchases.
Any DRM-protected music, movies, TV shows, books, or apps that you previously downloaded from other family member's collections will no longer be usable, and other family members won't be able to use content downloaded from your collection. Learn more about Digital Rights Management (DRM) in iTunes for Mac or iTunes for Windows.
You'll keep any purchases you initiated while part of the family group. However, if the organizer was paying for your iCloud storage or any other ongoing subscriptions, you'll need to start paying for them yourself using a valid payment method on your account. Learn how to add a credit or debit card to your iTunes Store account.

  • Why i'm unable to update App with different Apple ID? (it gives me an error: Impossible to connect to iTunes Store)

    Hello,
i installed a lot of Apps on my iPad (both free and purchased), then a sad day  i had to change my apple ID (due to some mistakes in configuring the ipad for my wife with a different apple ID and for icloud...).
Now i have apps with my last apple ID account and apps with my previous one.
When i have to update Apps with my last apple ID, there's no problem, but when i try to update Apps installed with the OLD one a problem occurs and even if i type the right password for it i get always the same message: Impossible to connect to iTunes Store!
Password for old apple ID is correct because i can log on line at account page on https://appleid.apple.com/it/
I read everywhere that having Apps with different account on the same Ipad is allowed, so....What's the Problem??
    thank you in advance.
    Bye

    Content and Apple IDs -
Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with another Apple ID with a new Apple ID.

  • HT204074 Can iTunes Match be used with multiple Apple IDs

My wife and I have our own apple IDs for our iPhones.  I recently subscribed to iTunes Match on our MacBook under my Apple ID.  Can my wife's Apple ID be associated with the Match account so that she too can listen to music from our computer on her iPhone?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
No. She must be using your Apple ID if she wants to use iTunes Match, or she has to subscribe to iTunes Match with her Apple ID.

  • IPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand with multiple apple ID's.

    Hello,
First of all I want to excuse myself for my bad english. It's not my native language.
I've bought a Macbook Air 11" two weeks ago and I logged in the app store using an "old" apple ID. Now that I wanted to use a new apple ID to start "clean" I also decided to reinstall my macbook.
Once I tried to redownload iMovie, iPhoto and GarageBand I got the message that those applications are "attached" to a other account. I still got that account, but I want to know if I can "remove" those apps on the "old" account and download them using my "new" account.
I don't want to keep two accounts because I logged in the first time with a other account. Is this possible?
    Cheers,
    Sq

So the first time you log in with an apple id the apps are "attached" to that account without any notice? I can't even purchase them. Reinstalling my mac didn't give me back the applications either. I'm flabbergasted how the apple ID's work and that they can get away with this. Support must come from other users as I can't depend on Apple themselfs. Unbelievable...
    Thanks for the suppor Carolyn.
