Unable to sync app

Trying to sync an app from itunes. App is downloaded to iTunes and when I try to transfer it to my phone it is grey and won't let me transfer it. When I try to sync it says it will replace my other apps. Don't want to lose my other apps so not sure what to try next. Any suggestions?

Facing it from the time of iOS 6. Whenever i try to sync downloaded apps from System iTunes to my 4S it had shown "unable to determine apps". I was happy at updating os to iOS 7 and thought certainly it shud sync, since it is new OS to mobile. rest music and videos I can sync but when I am trying to sync app it is showing "Iphone could not be sync beacuse is not authorised" but I have already authorised and sync everything except apps. Even I can access the itune store.

Unable to sync apps from old iPad2 to new iPad3

I have a new iPad3, upgrade from iPad2.
Both the old and new iPads were issued by my company.
I have TWO PCs and TWO appleIDs:
1. The first PC is my work computer (Win7, iTunes 10), where I use my work-issued AppleID to sync with the company-issued MobileIron configured profile. This worked fine, all is good. Works great, no problems.
2. The second PC is my personal computer (Win7, iTunes 10), where I use my personal AppleID to sync with my personal AppleID to pick up my music, apps, etc.
On my personal PC, I keep getting the dreaded "We could not complete your iTunes request. The network connection was reset." I know this must be common because I find many posts about it, but most are several years old. I've tried several suggestion not on apple.com and none work. Network connections are fine, as you can see because I am posting here from my personal PC.
I was able to sync music and all loaded great onto the new iPad3. When I try to sync apps, it tells me the computer is not authorized. When I try to authorize again, it gives me the same error.
My frustration is this worked GREAT on my prior iPad2. I was able to sync with both PCs and both the work and personal AppleIDs and bounce back and forth between the two any time I needed to do so.
My company IT department says they have not changed anything in the MobleIron config that should prevent this from happening, and other employees do it with no problem.

Unable to sync apps onto iPhone 4

Hey guys,
Just recently, I haven't been to sync some of my apps from iTunes on my computer to my iPhone 4. Whenever I try to sync them on, I get a message reading "Unable to install the app "[insert name]" onto the iPhone "[insert name]" because its resources have been modified. I haven't been playing around with any app modifications, and my iPhone is not jailbroken.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the apps, and even deleting from the iTunes library and redownloading the apps, but I still keep on getting the same message.
The only way that I am able to get some of these apps onto my iPhone has been to download directly onto my iPhone, but I can't do that with larger apps (200mb+), even with Wifi.
Any help guys?

I've been having this issue for at least a week now. Any time I try to sync my iPhone with iTunes I get the following messages:

I even tried to download the app directly from iTunes on my computer, thinking maybe it would help, and got this message:
I checked the server status on and it claimed all the features where online. What is going on with this?

Unable to sync apps on new iPhone 5

Brand new iPhone 5.
Old iPhone 3GS backed up with iTunes.
iTunes updated to 11.0.1.12 and backup restored to new iPhone. Music, messages etc all synced. Apps do not sync despite many attempts.
iTunes Apps page is checked for "Automatically sync new apps"
iPhone Settings > General > Restrictions not enabled.
iPhone is logged into App Store and so is iTunes.
iTunes has a strange phenomenon. When turned on and conneced to the phone, there are only four screens:
Now, if I begin to drag some apps from the left, this is what happens:
Notice the extra screens that appeared on the right They were created some time ago after the purchase by dragging every desired app.
Clicking Apply goes through the motions of a sync very quickly, but nothing is transferred to the iPhone 5.
The buttons on the bottom right change to say "Sync"
If I click "Sync", very briefly, the progress bar (or whatever it is called) shows the green Apps bar a little wider, but then it shrinks back to the slim green bar.
No app has synced and the phone still has three screens, not what iTunes shows.
Please advise.

Unable to sync apps after a fatal crash from a virus infected email

Recently I had a crash resulting from a virus infected email. Upon reinstating my operating system (XP Pro) and lost software, I am having difficulties in syncing my Iphone with my PC, my Library apps is blank but the apps are still showing on the iphone. I'm also having problems with my account which is stated to be different from the one on the PC, possibly because I reinstalled itunes. Any suggestions as to how I reinstate my apps in the Library and have the account recognized. Any help would be most appreciated.

Unable to sync apps with iPhone

I recently updated to OS 4.2.1 and got the following when I tried to sync my apps:
The app was not installed on iPhone because an unknown error occurred (0xE8000001).
I did try the "de-authorizing then authorizing" trick but it didn't work.
Not to mention that battery life now ***** really bad.
Saw a thread that suggested resetting all settings, restoring the phone etc, but nothing worked.

Did you check if "App-Installation" is activated in Settings/General/Restrictions on your phone?

Unable to sync apps to my i phone

i downloaded a few new apps on my laptop but they won't sync to my i phone even after several syncs. the apps are not restricted on my phone and i checked all the boxes before sync them. i don't know what else to do. can someone please help me out.

Unable to sync apps that were deleted after iTouch upgraded with new S/W

After the iTouch software was spontaneously "upgraded", apps disappeared from the iTouch. Resetting the device did not help at all. The current state is that all apps show up in the Apps tab for the device, but everything appears to be greyed out. No boxes can be checked or unchecked, and so on.
The "report a problem" feature on the purchase history page is now bogus. All it does is open an unhelpful self-help page in the web browser: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/#app_store

Unable to sync apps to iPhone 3G

When I try to install application that I have downloaded from iTunes app store to my iTunes application and then try to sync them to my iphone I get the following error"
Some of the applications in your itunes library, "app name" were not installed on the iPhone, "my iPhone name" you are not authorized for them on this computer. I can sync my ripped movies and music with no problems. Any ideas what I need to do to get these programs to sync?

My computer is already authorized (I have an iPod and have never had this issue before) and I cannot get apps to sync to my phone (I get the same warning message). Any ideas?

Follow this article for instructions on completely re-installing the iOS operating system; it sounds like some file may have gotten corrupted during your iOS 7 install.
It's a good idea to back up your data first (to iCloud or iTunes), restore the iPhone to factory settings through iTunes, and then temporarily set the iPhone up as new to test the camera with a completely fresh copy of iOS. If it still doesn't work after re-installing iOS 7 and setting up as new, you may have a hardware issue.

i have logged into another apple id and an app is in download process , it didnt complete but i have to sign in to a new apple id . what to do?

Are you currently connected to a 3G network or a wifi network ? If an app is over 20 meg in size then you will only be able to download it over a wifi network, not over 3G.
And have you tried downloading the apps on iTunes on your computer and then tried syncing or dragging and dropping the apps across to the iPad device ?

Cannot sync apps to ipod touch 64g

My girlfriend and I bought each other a 64g ipod touch. On my computer with windows XP, everything sync perfectly. On my girlfriend's, the music sync perfectly but when it comes to the apps, it says that her computer is not authorized...So we cancelled the computer and re-authorized it, to no use. It's getting frustrating...All the apps sync well with mine and the same apps cant sync with hers...
Everything is up to date: iTunes, ipod software, etc.

We had this problem at our house. After investigation, turns out that iPod restrictions had been turned on, and one of the restrictions that was turned 'off' was "installing apps". You can get to the restrictions by going to general settings and scrolling to restrictions. If yours are on, you'll need to enter your passcode. On the next screen, see if the "installing apps" selection is on or off. If "off", then you will be unable to sync apps from iTunes. I turned this setting on, and our iPods were able to sync apps from iTunes as you would expect. Hope this helps someone.
