Unable to Sync Ipad

I am unable to sync my Ipad in Itunes and get the following error message:
I have uninstalled Itunes and installed the latest version and still get this message.  Another message
appears when I first start ITunes:
Reinstalling does not help.  I tried setting the Ipad to sync with Wi-Fi and that doesn't seem to work either.
Can anyone help?

Addition to above--the IPad is recognized by ITunes, it just won't sync!

if that doesn't work there are more indepth things you can do.

  • Unable to sync ipad to itunes on desktop due to being unable to download version 11.1

My iPad2 is updated with iOS 7.0.4. Whether I manually connect the iPad to the desktop or try it wirelessly, I get a message stating that I must have iTunes 11.1 or higher to update.  When I click check for updates, iTunes says I am not connected to the internet, but clearly I am or I would not be able to send this message. I went to apple.com downloaded 11.1....it said thank you for downloading. I restarted computer. However, I'm still getting the same message from iTunes and can't sync iPad. Help please.

    Hi JSinMCO,
If your iPad is not seen correctly correctly, please walk through the steps in this article.
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch not recognized in iTunes for Windows
Of course take the steps in order and test.

  • Suddenly unable to sync iPad

Hello all. I've had my iPad for 11 days now. Up til now, I have had no problem syncing it with iTunes on my PC (Windows Vista Home Premium). Today when I connected the iPad to the PC, iTunes started as normal and recognized the iPad. However, instead of starting the sync, all I see is an ad for a free 60 day trial of MobileMe when the iPad is selected in iTunes. There are no tabs showing up when the iPad is selected.
When I click "No Thanks" on the ad, nothing happens. The ad still sits there. I am able to use all other sections of iTunes. The sync with my iPad never starts.
I did a complete reinstall of iTunes but it did not help. And yes, it is version 9.1.0.79. I have powered the iPad off and on but again, no good.
Does anyone have any idea what is happening and how to fix it?
    Thanks,
    Rick

You may want to pose your question in the iTunes section to see what kind of response you get there. After all, the trial offer is iTunes based; perhaps someone else had the same issue with an iPod or a Touch, etc. Just a thought.

  • Unable to sync iPad; Required File Cannot be Found

I'm not able to sync my iPad to my Mac. Each time I try to sync I receive the message "The iPad cannot be synced. The required file cannot be found".
I tried the Restore option in iTunes, but continue to have to same issue. I've been syncing the iPad almost every week since I got it and just started about the same time as iTunes was upgraded.
Any ideas on how to fix it?

It seems that your iPod/iPhone/iPad photo cache got corrupted.
    Go to your iPhoto library
Right click and choose show package contents
Delete the folder "iPod Photo Cache"
    Close iPhoto Contents folder
Restart iTunes and re-sync. This should solve the problem.
Your iPhoto library will be re-optimised for syncing to your preferred device.
    Hopes this solves your problem.

  • Unable to sync iPad keep asking to authorize the computer

I can't synchronize my iPad with my computer. Keep asking to authorize the iPad in order to synchronize.
Each time I authorize and then validate. After syncing it keeps asking again and again.
I have authorized only 1 computer out of 5.
What to do? I want to get my photos onto my iPad
    Thanks

    Authorization
iTunes Store- Authorize or deauthorize your Mac or PC.
In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.
iTunes repeatedly prompts to authorize computer to play iTunes Store purchases

  • Unable to sync ipad to itunes

i recently purchased the ipad yesterday. i have updated the itunes software and when i click sync, i get a status bar as if it were syncing. However, about 2 seconds later it stops syncing as if it were complete.
I do have an ipod associated with this computer, self built windows 7 os, as well.
    any advice would be great.

    A few things to try.
    1) Press and Hold the Home and Wake Sleep buttons until the Apple Logo appears.
    2) If that doesn't work, try a reset, To reset go to Settings, General, Reset, Reset.
    3) If still no good, try removing and reinstalling itunes. (back up the itunes folder first.)
    4) If still no good, try a restore from the itunes/pc.

  • Unable to sync iPad over wi-fi

I know a thousand other people have posted this and one more post won't make any difference, but it really ***** that I can't sync my iPad 2 or iPhone 5c using iTunes 11 over wi-fi. Someone has to make it easier than wiping my devices and re-installing my ethernet card. Can't we make an app for this?

i dunno.  If you are home, and the computer is home - why not just plug it in?  I tried the wifi syncing when it first came out, and there is so much data flying back and forth - a momentary loss or hiccup in the wifi signal scews up the sync.   To me, just not worth the effort.
System updates, on the other hand seem to work fine .  That is a one way data transmission with checks and resends as needed - more or less just a large download.

  • ITunes randomly unable to sync iPad, says my computer isn't authorized.

I'm completely stumped by this one. I have an iPad (3, I think) jailbroken with 6.1.2. I'm the only one that uses the iPad and the computer it syncs with, so it shouldn't be a multi-Apple ID issue. I have been using a iTunes 11.1 beta since it came out and my iPad has been syncing just fine. I upgraded to the official iTunes 11.1 when it was released, tried to sync my iPad the next day, and started getting an error saying that my computer wasn't authorized. It seems to happen when it gets to "syncing apps" during the process.
I don't know what could've caused this, and I doubt upgrading iTunes is to blame. Regardless, I tried authorizing, de-authorizing and re-authorizing, de-authorizing ALL from my iTunes settings, erasing the /Users/Shared/SC Info as advised from the apple support site, and rebooting my iPad and macbook tons of times.
I'm also syncing a lot of the same content to an iPhone 5 without any problems... any idea what the problem is?

The computer is new and I guess this is more of a computer than an iPhone problem, isn't it?
    Is the computer a Mac?
If so, perhaps also give the following document a try:
iTunes: Missing folder or incorrect permissions may prevent authorization

  • Unable to sync iPad and PC. Keeps crashing. Lost my music, films and photos. What could be causing this?

My sync session keeps failing and I can't upload any photos, films or music to my iPad. As a result iTunes keeps crashing. All systems are up to date. What could be causing this?

First, uninstall iTunes, reboot your computer, reinstall iTunes and try another sync.

  • Unable to sync iPad/iPhone

My PC version of iTunes has stopped recognizing my components (iPad, iPhone, etc). It worked well previously. I have followed the tutorial (turn everything off/on, reload iTunes, etc) without success. Everything works on my laptop, so it appears to be the PC software. Suggestions anyone? I'm using Microsoft Security Essentials on Windows 7 and have been for almost 1 year now without issues. Help please. Thanks
    Paul

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that you are using Windows 7 64 bit? I have been having the exact same problem and have narrowed it down to Microsoft Security Essentials on Win7 x64. Unfortunately I have not found a fix yet other than removing MSE. From what I can tell, the conflict only occurs on the 64 bit version of Windows 7.
So a temporary solution is to uninstall MSE whenever you want to sync. Not a good solution, I know, but it will at least allow you to sync your iPad.
