Unable to sync music from PC to iPhone 5 after installing ISO8

I really hope someone can help me as I have been struggling for over 30 hours trying now (in between studying and sleeping). I have been using iTunes for years, and I regularly create new playlists and sync them.  Last weekend I installed ISO 8 and deleted some music off my iphone to create enough room.  After installing it I connected my iphone 5 to my PC using a usb lead, selected the tracks and playlists I wanted to sync and hit SYNC. It ran through the steps 1 to 4 as usual, but then instead of listing the tracks it was syncing at the top (like normal) it just finished, completed, but the tracks are not on my iphone. I have been doing this for years, I am not an expert but I know how to sync music, it is just not working and I really need the playlists for a dance project at college tomorrow.  I have received a couple of error messages, one stating "The iTunes Library file cannot be saved. The disk could not be read from or written to" and another about syncing error. I am really desperate, any suggestions would be most greatly appreciated.

You need to free up storage space on your PC in order to sync iTunes content.

    Hello, lopezen714.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Normally this indicates system information changes are being applied on the iOS device.  However, this could be related to security software conflicts.  It also can be related to any other mobile device software.  I would recommend going through the troubleshooting steps in the article below and if any old mobile device software is installed, uninstall them.

Okay, you are using Windows 7. What version of iTunes do you have. Please don't tell me the most current one, go into Help then About iTunes and read what it says.

I read your entire message, and my mom's iPhone 5 does this exact same thing. When the idiot at the AT&T store transferred her data (well, most of it) to her new phone, he DID NOT use her latest iCloud backup like he should have, but used some features in "Bump" to move things across. So, in my opinion, it's not worth the hassle of restoring it as a new device as Tim suggests. That's just the easy answer. Here's something odd about hers. It seems to do this, when she's using her bluetooth earpiece (a Jawbone Icon), but not when she's got bluetooth disabled on the iPhone 5 and holding down the "Home" button to activate Siri. If she uses her Jawbone bluetooth earpiece to activate Siri, the answer that Siri presents on the phone's screen will only stay on for about five seconds, then dim, then go blank -- and she has to "swipe to unlock" and, of course, the Siri information is gone. Not so if she uses the Home key to activate Siri.

how do I sync music from that I have downloaded onto itunes on to iphone 4 ?

Connect the phone to your computer and select it on the left-handd sidebar of your computer's iTunes (you can enable the sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac), and then use the Music tab on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen to select and sync your music to your phone's Music app
If you haven't synced the phone to that computer before then you may find this page useful : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3141

  • How do i sync music from iMac to iPhone 5s

How do I pull / sync music from my IMac to the Iphone 5s?

No. I loaded a CD to iTunes and when I connected my iPhone and select "Music" to sync, it loaded the music but my ringtones of which I loaded several months ago were gone. I thought that if you synced your device and only selected one group, "music" that would be all it would bother with. I guess I was wrong.

  • Unable to sync music to iPod or iPhone

I still have not seen an answer to this problem.
Currently I am unable to sync any music to either my iPod or iPhone and do NOT get any form of error message from iTunes. When the sync is complete and successful, it says so in the iTunes progress window. Sync is always successful according to iTunes.
It will sync contacts, calendars, photo's and movies to the iPhone but not music. iPod has no video capability and iTunes will not sync music to it.
iPod is a mini(4Gb) with a Firewire connection, iPhone is Gen 1 with USB 2.0 connection.
I have synced to both devices without a problem in the recent past.
iTunes has been uninstalled and reinstalled.
ALL music plays from within iTunes and the iTunes library is on the same disk as iTunes.
There are NO error messages at all.
    Any ideas would be appreciated.

iPod prefs are just fine, as are the iPhone prefs.
Regarding the Check Marks. None of the music has check marks in front of it and this I find is the problem.
Something seemingly unimportant and unnoticed was causing all this grief.
My thanks to you Diane, now that the check marks are in place, the iPhone has music again. I'm guessing that the iPod will also have music on it shortly.
Thanks again, I appreciate your help

  • Problem syncing music from laptop to iphone

    hello,
So I've had my laptop and my phone for a while, never had any problem with syncing my phone, until now.
I have installed OS X Yosemite around the same period when I got this problem, maybe that has something to do with it, I don't know.
Anyways, so when i try to sync the music tomy phone, i get a window that says: 'the iphone could not be synced because this computer is no longer authorized for purchases items that are on this iPhone. To authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes Store, choose store > authorize this computer'
So I did that, then i get a window saying: 'This computer is already authorised. Including this one, you have authorised one computer out of your available 5.'
I've tried deauthorizing and authorizing it again, login out and in again, didn't work.
So i'm asking you, I'd really appreciate it if you could help me out, I miss listening to my music with my phone.
    thank you,
    Sarah

    Hi Sarah,
It sounds like iTunes is asking you to authorize your computer for iTunes purchases, even though it's already authorized. I would miss listening to music on my iPhone in this case, as well.
Logging out/in and deauthorizing/authorizing were good steps, and next I'd recommend the steps mentioned in this troubleshooting article:
