Unable to sync music to iphone
after updating to the latest itunes software, my entire music library doesn't sync to the iphone. I have an iphone 4s which i have updated to ios7.
I am having the same problem and the only thing that works is to disconnect reboot the computer and then reconnect the device and cross your fingers. I have to do this multiple times per day with the new ios and iTunes. It only syncs about 40% of the time on the first try. It is also taking about 5x as long as normal to start up iTunes. So the whole process of rebooting and reconnecting can easily take about 10-15 min per attempt.
Apple is the new MicroSoft - shoving out software releases whether they are ready or not. Quality has gone down steadily ever since Jobs has been out of the picture. Still plummeting with each new step. Glad I don't own stock . . . I would sell if I did.

I'm unable to sync the music and apps on my iphone. The phone has recently being retored and this was the cause of all my problems
i can see all my music in itunes however I cannot add any songs or edit the playlists.
When I press sync music it does not do anything.
Another odd thing is that I see my phone name however there is also "on this phone" in itunes - and this does not contain any of music and does not allow me to add any music.

Unable to sync music with iPhone 6
I can no longer sync my music via iTunes on my iPhone 6. I know this has been a problem in the past. Does anyone have updated info? Today is Jan 8, 2015.

I have updated my iPhone and iTunes to the latest versions, tho since that I cannot sync any music at all. Itunes gets stuck 'waiting for changes to be applied'. All was working fine before the updates, now I cannot do anything to get music onto my iphone4 - Help please apple !

Unable to sync music onto iPhone 5
I have just recently received a replacement iPhone 5 from my phone store, however when I have come to restore it from a back up, everything returned to normal apart from my music. I therefore, using my USB cable, connected it into my Apple Mac Air, to try and sync my music this way. All products have the up to date software and all settings are set to sync automatically. I've tried resetting all warnings and cache but this hasn't worked, and I have also manually checked all songs and again this didn't work either. I ensured my wifi was turned off like suggested in previous comments but this isn't working either. I am at my end and starting to get very annoyed!
Please can someone help!!

i am unable to sync music from my computer to my iphone 4S i receive an error message stating that it requires 11.1 or later and that i need to go to the itunes website to download that, ive done that and still am unable to proceed.
Okay, you are using Windows 7. What version of iTunes do you have. Please don't tell me the most current one, go into Help then About iTunes and read what it says.

I read your entire message, and my mom's iPhone 5 does this exact same thing. When the idiot at the AT&T store transferred her data (well, most of it) to her new phone, he DID NOT use her latest iCloud backup like he should have, but used some features in "Bump" to move things across. So, in my opinion, it's not worth the hassle of restoring it as a new device as Tim suggests. That's just the easy answer. Here's something odd about hers. It seems to do this, when she's using her bluetooth earpiece (a Jawbone Icon), but not when she's got bluetooth disabled on the iPhone 5 and holding down the "Home" button to activate Siri. If she uses her Jawbone bluetooth earpiece to activate Siri, the answer that Siri presents on the phone's screen will only stay on for about five seconds, then dim, then go blank -- and she has to "swipe to unlock" and, of course, the Siri information is gone. Not so if she uses the Home key to activate Siri.

Itunes wont sync music to iphone 5c
itunes wont sync music to iphone 5c, skips music portion of sync and gets stuck on "waiting for changes to be applied"
also wont remove cloud downloaded previously purchased songs during sync, i have restored the phone from my old one that was destroyed, but other than that sync pretty much doesnt work at all for photos or anything else.

itunes 11.1.3.8After days of getting frustrated I finally found a solution: Don't use itunes to sync music. After going through pages of possible solutions (restores, syncing albums one at a time, removing all music, deactivating accounts, making a call while syncing and various other things) as well as trying to contact apple support (Which was a joke--They wanted to charge me $19.00 to get help for a problem with their software), I change my Google search terms to "how to sync music without itunes" and I found a program called CopyTrans Manager for free. It only took me a few minutes to add the new tracks to my iphone. It automatically organizes it the same way itunes would and you have the option to make your own playlists. Best of all it synced the first try! Itunes is now dead to me. Now I just have to figure out what I'm going to do with all the free time I have since I'm not going to be spending hours banging my head at my computer ready to throw my phone out the window.

ITunes 11.1 wont sync music to iPhone 4s
I'm having a problem with getting iTunes to sync music onto my iPhone 4s after updating to iOS 7 and iTunes 11.1. Tried restarting both devices and it didn't help. Hoping someone can help me with this problem.

I actually haven't seen the "Syncing Music to iphone" since the new ios update so im quite happy..
Here are the steps that I took to solve:
1. Turned off auto lock and password on iphone
2. After connecting iphone on the summary page the only three boxes I have checked are Automatically sync when iphone is connected, sync only checked songs and videos, manually manage music and videos
3. Now, click the On this iPhone tab. In the bottom right there are "setting" and "Autofill". Under "Settings" select replace all items when Autofilling. I also arbitrarily selected "reserve 1.12GB for disk use".
5. Then I clicked "Autofill" and selected Replace Songs.
6. Lastly I pressed "Sync" while I was still on the "On This iPhone" page.
7. I was actually about to leave the computer and then I saw something magical..."Syncing Music".....Holy Sh...!!!
Notes:On the iPhone: WiFi, Bluetooth, Cellular, personal Hotspot and VPN are all disabled. I use PC. I have about 5000 songs. I do not use Match.
Before today I was also having a disc space issue with a large block of "other". I deleted the music data from my iphone and that fixed that problem, however, the phone was still not syncing the majority (4800 of 5000) songs.
I do not pay for icloud storage, I have never restored my iphone
*I also do not have the "Sync Music" box checked under the Music tab, however, simply doing this did not solve the problem -
Itunes keeps turning on 'sync music' to iphone
Everytime I plug my iPhone in to my computer, iTunes will by itself toggle on 'sync music'. When I untoggle it and go back and hand add songs to the phone, it starts a sync process again and low and behold the sync music button is toggled on again! And the songs that I've just added by hand are removed from the phone again.
I recently used the sync to be able to delate some songs that had auto-download to my phone when I upgraded it to iOS7. These songs weren't appearing on the list of music when I hooked my iphone up and I wasn't able to delete them striaght from the phone either. I turned the sync off as soon as I got the songs deleted so I could go back in and add only the small number of songs I wanted to be on my phone.
I'm really at wits end at this point. I'd stop plugging the phone into my computer if I could, but its my only means of charging at the moment.
