Unable to synch my PC calendar with BB device

There appears to be one calendar entry that is blocking any attempt to synch my device calendar to the one on my PC.
I keep getting the following error message: Error encountered. Error code 0x8004fd28. Check documentation.
What can I do to rectify this?

Is anyone having trouble synching your Outlook Calendar with iCal on recurring events?

In my Outlook calendar, I created some additional categories for different work events, each with their own name and color on my calendar.
Sync Services is ON.
When I went to synch my outlook calendar with my Blackberry, it looks like 10,000 or more new calendar items were created on my Outlook calendar. My Outlook calendar is a mess. It think the problem is with iCal.
It looks like all of the recurring events were duplicated 10 - 20 times each, including holidays.
I have turned OFF Sync Services.
I have two questions.
1 - Is anyone else having this problem?
2 - I have a Apple Time Capsule. Is there a way I can go back to my Outlook calendar before this problem started today?

All your computers/devices can sign into the same iCloud account and sync between them. It rather sounds as if you've managed to create two separate iCloud accounts. You may have a different ID for iTunes and have been trying to use that - you should keep that ID for iTunes, iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match and use the main iCloud ID for syncing.
On the computer which works, make sure you know what the login for iCloud is. Then on the other computer remove iCloud altogether:

Now set up that computer with the same login as on the first computer.

Re: check that the appointments in my phone are going into iCloud calendars....exactly how do I do this? I fear this is a really stupid question!
My iCloud account is set up with my Apple ID as one email account (for example [email protected]) which is the email account I use to sign up for internet sites like Amazon, Apple,etc, so that I can differentiate vendors/mass emails. But my default calendar on my iPhone is in a different email name (ie [email protected]) which I use for most communications to friends, relatives, etc. and it is this account that holds most of my appointments. To further complicate things I have other email accounts that I use for business/professional and community work. If I want all my calendars to show on my iPhone AND sync to my iCloud, do I set this at the phone level or the iCloud level? or both?
Let me clarify....It looks like if I go into appointments that I previously set up through my personal account (ie above [email protected]) and edit the entry on my iPhone, selecting the iCloud "home" calendar within the entry, it will then sync to my iCloud account, no problem....do I have to do this to EVERY entry I have? or is there a way to name my personal account as one to sync to iCloud?

Synching ONE MobileMe calendar with TWO iphones

I keep reading that it's possible to synch a MobileMe calendar with TWO iphones but cannot find out HOW to do so. I presume that SHARING a calendar is different from SYNCHRONISING a calendar. Sharing a calendar seems to me to be cumbersome in that it involves sending an invitation which then must be specifically dealt with by the recipient. SYNCHRONISING a calendar though presumably means updating a calendar entry automatically. It works with one iphone. How can it be made to work with two iphones? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Have spent hours/days on the phone with second level Apple tech support to no avail. CompanionLink IS syncing with Outlook but Outlook isn't syncing with the phone. Have tried syncing to Outlook directly (without CompanionLink) but no good result. Tried syncing through MobilMe. Can sync all Outlook contacts from my computer to me.com through MobileMe but does not sync with the phone. Tech support suggested trying to sync fewer contacts at a time as their might be a problem with the contacts file. DID manage to get 4000 of my 5600 contacts back in but can't get any more in. Previously had NO problem syncin all contacts directly and through CompanionLink. VERY frustrating.

Since installing MobileMe I get an error message saying that Outlook isn't my default mail handler and I need to change the settings to make it the default mail handler. According to your description, my understanding is that you want to make the calendars in SharePoint can be viewed in iCalendar format in the mobile devices.
To make the SharePoint calendars be viewed in iCalendar format and then you can sync your iPhone with the calendar , you can use the

Sadly, from such a brief report, it's rather difficult to determine anything..."seems to be not possible" is rather a sparse amount of detail. What changed between the last time it worked and the first time it didn't? How exactly does the problem manifest? Are there any error messages? Details always enhance understanding, and understanding is a key prerequisite to providing useful guidance.

It starts with a process for cleanly starting over, and there is some discussion, and there is also a post (15) with links to older Desktop Software versions, if those are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work...but it has worked for many to resolve issues they are having.

Problem Synching Outlook 2003 Calendar with Desktop Manager 5.0

Hi there,
I just downloaded the new BB desktop manager software 5.0 (I was reluctant to do so for weeks because I didn't want to start encountering problems, which I now have, of course). Suddenly my Outlook Calendar (2003) is not synching at all with the device, despite my software being configured to do so. All other items synch perfectly well--address book, tasks and memos--but the Address Book synching doesn't even begin, so it's not like I'm getting error messages.
Do I need to go back to the Desktop Manager 4.7--and if so, can someone walk me through uninstalling 5.0 and reinstalling 4.7--or is there a workaround? Trying to avoid spending hours on the phone with Verizon who will just wind up passing me over to BB support!

IPhone will not synch contacts and calendar with Outlook after upgrade to 4

I have been using an ACT! database on a PC for years, synching to Outlook with CompanionLink, and synching my iPhone to Outlook. After upgrading my iPhone to 4.0, I can no longer synch my contacts and calendar from Outlook. It "goes through the motions," appearing to be synching. But in the end, nothing changes. I have reloaded iTunes. The problem is between Outlook and the phone (the synch from ACT! to Outlook is fine).

Calendar is not synching in the cloud with all devices

I have my calendar set to synch up with icloud. Why is it that my calendar only synchs up when I synch up on iTunes? Shouldn't it synch up automatically in the cloud?

On a Mac make sure Calendars is swtiched on in System Preferences > iCloud or Control Panel > Network and Internet > iCloud on a PC.

Cant synch new google calendar with phone

I have a new Droid 2 Global. I did not have a google calendar when I activated the phone. I have now created a calendar and the phone will not recognize the calendar to synch with. It never shows up in accounts to add. I created a gmail account before the phone was activated but did not know that the calendars would not work without a google calendar. So now how can I get the phone to 'find' the calendar.

The option to sync calendar would appear if you selected the option during setup. Even if you don't have a calendar, still check the option should you need to use it at a later date. Alternately, you would have needed to delete/erase your gmail account from your phone then re-add it. If you only have one gmail account set up, you will need to do a factory reset since at least one gmail account is required for android phones.
If you were to re-add your previous gmail account now, you will see the option to sync calendar during setup.

Unable to open/edit shared calendar with Editor permissions

I have created an account, and have shared the calendar to the entire office. Some of the individuals have either been unable to accept the invite as it says "The folder you selected is not available". Some can view the calendar, but are unable
to create appointments. Their addresses are set as Editor, but it continues to give this error.
Is there something I am missing?

If these users are working in Outlook Cached Mode, please let them switch to Outlook Online Mode to check the result. If the function works fine in Online Mode, removing and re-adding the calendar may help since it seems to be a cache issue.
If the issue persists, could you please detail this scenario a little bit? I've seen Office 365 users used to meet this issue and it was resolved by installing an update:
