Transferring photos from your computer has nothing to do with your iTunes account/Apple ID.
Photos can be transferred from a single computer only. When transferring photos from another, all photos on the iPad that were transferred from a different computer will be erased from the iPad first - even if the photos were transferred from the old or different computer to the new computer being used for syncing.
When transferring photos from your computer, what is named the iPod Photo Cache is created on your computer for the photos that are transferred and why you see new photos being transferres are optimized before the actual transfer process. The iPod Photo Cache for these photos on the computer the photos were transferred from is not available on your new computer.
Since all photos on your iPad that were transferred from the old or different computer should remain on that computer, transfer the photos from that computer to your new computer. These photos on your iPad will be erased with the first sync but will be re-transferred along with a new iPod Photo Cache for these photos being created on your new computer. -

It cannot be installed. It comes pre-installed on every iPhone 4S and later. Maybe it was disabled under Settings > General > Restrictions.

iOS 6 only added support for the 3rd generation iPad. It was always on the iPhone 4S. Then the same goes for your boss: Maybe disabled in restrictions, or maybe actually an iPhone 4. -
My ipad mini is not being recognized by the new iTunes update that just came out about a week ago it worked fine till the update I have windows 8.1 does anyone know how to fix this problem and I just bought my ipad mini

After contacting Apple, I received a reply from their engineers:
Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
And that did the trick.

I recently upgraded from an iPhone 4s to an iPhone 5. I have a Motorola HX550 Bluetooth Headset which worked flawlessly with the iPhone 4s. However, since upgrading to the iPhone 5, I frequently lose audio when in the middle of a call. I am not certain whether it is a full disconnect or just an audio loss. The person on the other end reports still being able to hear me, however, I suppose they could hear me speaking over another source even if bluetooth disconnected. The loss of audio is always preceded by a quick shrill noise, so I can easily tell when it happens. All I have to do to fix the problem is to select Audio Source on the call screen, temporarily switch audio back to the iPhone, and then switch back to the headset, and then it starts working again.

Really nice Headset unless you own an Iphone 5. I own several Plantronics headsets and have always loved the quality/ performance. This headset seems not to be compatible with the new Iphone 5. In the middle of a conversation it will lose all incoming audio. This leaves you trying to switch audio sources really fast in order not to lose your phone call. Ive tried 3 legend headsets and they all do the same thing. Hopefully this gets fixed soon because the headset is really nice
Since this issue appears to affect multiple headsets from multiple vendors, I think it is fair to conclude that it is an issue with the iPhone5 bluetooth itself.
I am posting this as a new discussion as I don't see any other posts specific to this iPhone 5 Bluetooth issue. I would have reported this as a problem to Apple, but don't seem to be able to find a way to do this on the web. Hopefully they are already aware, but if not, maybe they will see i here.here is an interesting thing: take the iphone and set lock screen to never. Now make an email with siri--be sure to activate her with call button. get to the body and get some text in there. then just stop talking. LOCK SCREEN APPEARS!!!!!! and of course you draft is gone.
There does seem to be a work around for some--maybe all these issues. Don't use the call button--use the buttons on the phone.
Siri seems to behave properly with scenerio above---sans call button. She does not go to lock. -
I am a windows user that has converted to Mac and loving it but when I updated to Lion my wireless internet dongle would not work anymore and the Macbook Pro does not recognise the device at all so I am unable to reinstall it again. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Go to Finder > Preferences then select the General tab
Make sure External disks is selected. -
Am I the only fool who clicked on update all when my iPad told me updates were available? Two updates loaded just fine, but the other four never updated and now lie useless and grayed out. I had 6 Apps that needed updating on my iPad original. I hit "Update All" and that ruined four Apps. They won't download the updates, nor will they launch and be useable either. I lost Splashtop 2, Bible!, and Mercury Browser! Suggestions?! I don't want to ruin my access to Splashtop 2 for sure.
I fixed it by going through a few steps using iTunes while hooked to my computer.

I Updated my Iphone 5 and now it will not play or display in my car. I use the apple hotwire to USB to charge and play music in my car. It worked before the update. Is there a setting in the new software that needs adjusting ?
I have a similar problem. Prior to the 7.0.3 update my iPod touch worked properly and I could see the music folders, playlists and music lists. However, after the update it no longer works - I cannot see the playlists, the names are blank.
I do not believe your response properly answers the issue at hand. If the iPod worked properly before the update then it should work properly afterward. With the response and link above it appears it is Apple's stance that it is the radio manufacturer to make the radio work with every update. That is backwards and, in my opinion, irresponsible.
It should be Apples responsibility to make sure that the functionality of the device is the same both before and after an update. If they cannot do that then they should make it easy for the user to downgrade or uninstall the update to regain the previous functionality, at least until Apple can resolve the issue their update created.

before i do updates for my iphone (to 5.0.1) i close my SIM card, i can not complete the update proccess becouse SIM is closed also i can not activate iPhone becouse the SIM must be opened. when i try to open it , the networks does not appear (no service).
Its a serious problem and many people are facing the same issue on both locked and factory unlocked phones.
I wonder when Apple will address to this issue. After all it is losing all its reputation!

Verizon is my carrier and I have an unlimitted data plan. On my iPhone 4S I navigated to: Settings->General->Cellular->Personal Hotspot. Even though I have unlimitted data, I had to call Verizon and enable tethering for $20/month. Once enabled by Verizon technical support (611), I was able to setup a hotspot (will appear as a hotspot on any device with WiFi). Now I can connect to the iPhone hotspot from my iPad 2 or laptop wirelessly.

I have an iPhone 4 with IOS 4.2.6. I recently received an iPad with IOS5.1.1. I want to update my IOS on my phone but the computer I use is no longer hooked up to the Internet. What do I need to do? To update your phone requires using the latest version of iTunes, on your computer, as well as Internet access. The update to iOS 5.0 or higher is an erase/restore deal, so you not only have to make sure all of the content, currently on your phone, is on your computer and accessible, you need to update iTunes first, have Internet access, then update your phone. There is no way around this fact. You could go to an Apple store or use another computer, but you run the risk of losing all of your data it you do that.

This solved my problem:
In Itunes click on “music” of your iPhone
If you see any song with a dotted circle to its left and in degraded text, write down its name
Go to “music” in your iTunes library and unmark each and every of these songs
Synchronize your iPhone
Again in iTunes go back to your “music” ON THE iPHONE and make sure that all of the circled degraded songs have disappeared, if any found and you are sure they are unmarked in your library, remove from library and resynchronize the iPhone
Mark songs you unmarked in your library
Resync your iPhone

Why is iOS 8.2 not updating on iPhone 5S? It got the user to Agree to the Terms and Conditions but nothing happens. The user is doing the update via a Wifi connection. Current OS version on the device is 8.1.3. User did a hard reboot of the device and still the same result. Not tried using iTunes as a workaround as we want to know why it's not updating via a Wifi connection. Storage space available is 9G.
If you know of someone who is experiencing the same issue, please let me know the fix. Thank you.
Christina1. I do not know if this will help you or not. In researching this issue with my wife's iPhone 5c 8GB, the most common answer you will get is to adjust this or that setting, and disable this or that App. These at best are only a band-aide solution at all. The best reply I got was from a Verizon Rep that stated "By design, iPhones do turn off WiFi when they go dormant. So if a download is in progress, or information is being back-up wirelessly and the phone goes dormant, it will switch to use cellular data if it is left on". Afterwards, I discovered the exact same information here on the Apple Support Forum to support this statement.
2. Later onward, I read that if you keep your iPhone connected to a power source, it will prevent it from going dormant. In which case, this will prevent the iPhone from turning off the WiFi, and keep it connected to the WiFi. So far, this has help the most in controlling the amount of data usage being used, by my wife's iPhone.
