Unable to transfer Albums / Apps to my Ipod touch / Nano & iPad

Hi guys,
Ive just updated iTunes this afternoon....and not only experienced lock out from my old password (suvvessfully reset im pleased to say but clearly a problem with the latest update) but now i cant transfer anything to my ipod touch (4G), ipod Nano or iPad 2. They are all recognised and managable via itune, just when i try to drag an app or an album, the album or app wont move.
Any suggestions ?

App data and app settings are contained in the iDevice backup and not stored in iTunes on your computer. Syncing the app will not sync the game save progress to your iPad. The progress should be saved if you restore the iPad from th iPod backup. The only problem with this is - if you restore the iPad from the iPod backup - all of the data that was on the iPod will now be on the iPad.
So if you absolutely have to have the game synced to the iPad with all of the saved data in place, the only way to do that is to restore the iPad from the iPod backup and then sync the game to the iPad - or download it again via the purchased tab in the App Store.

Unable to transfer Kindle files onto my Ipod Touch

The files are in my Kindle on my computer but they will not transfer over to the Ipod Touch. How do I get the files moved over to the Ipod Touch from my pc?

Unable to get new Apps after purchasing iPod Touch app update

I know this is a frequent topic but I can't help but feel my situation is a little different to others I've read.
After purchasing the app update the new apps failed to appear. I also had a USB port problem at the time that prevent a correct sync - after switching ports everything is fine again - except for the new apps.
On each subsequent sync itunes attempts to sync the new apps but instead I get :
"Unknown error occurred 0xE8000001"
The only problem is the apps though, any new music, podcasts, movies etc are synced without a problem.
From reading other posts on similar topics I have seen (and tried) the following :
Do a restore - tried more times than I can count.
Make sure you are running up to date iTunes and iPod software - done and done - 7.6 and 1.1.3.
Try a different USB port - I have 8 USB 2.0 ports available (4 sets of 2) none have helped. Neither did my powered USB2 hub. Neither does unplugging everything but the mouse and keyboard. The ports work fine for everything else; mouse, keyboard, gaming claw, ext hard drive (with the exception of the bad one).
Switch off manual management and resync - no help.
Uncheck the checked items only option - no help.
Out of desparation I tried to restore and buy the update again on my MacBookPro but the iTunes store prevented the purchase as I already had it.
I have read that when this error occurs it generally seems to be related to USB power but in those cases it usually means the iPod is not being recognised by iTunes - and I am not having that problem.
Any suggestions anyone can provide would be most appreciated.

I managed to fix this one out by copy the app enabling file (iPod tiuch App Pack 4A93) to the corresponding directory (\iTunes\Mobile Applications) on the Mac and doing an 'erase and sync'.
The apps were promptly synced to the iPod and remained when I resynced on the XP machine.
I noticed this one got a few readers but no responses - has anyone else had the same problem? If you are, I suspect you may be able to get the same result by copying the file and syncing on another PC.

Are you trying to transfer apps to Windows 7 to USE them on Windows 7, or to back up your iPhone? iPhone apps will not run on Windows (OR Mac OS X); they only run on the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.
To back up your iPhone, connect the phone to your computer using the cable that came with the phone and a USB port directly on the computer, not a hub. Do not sync.
Check the account you have on your iPhone by going to Settings/Store. Make sure you are logged in to this same account on your computer, and that the computer is Authorized to this account (check the Store menu).
Go to the File Menu in iTunes and choose "Transfer Purchases".
If you have a problem with any of these steps please let us know exactly what the problem is.

The hard drive on my old computer failed so I no longer have access to my itunes library that was saved onto that computer. Is there anyway I can transfer my music and apps to my new computer? I would prefer not using one of those shady online tools... I don't want to lose any of my music or apps since I have some paid ones on there. I am unable to transfer my playlist to my Ipod in the new version of Itunes.

I also found that my previously paired 1st Gen Apple TV did not show up at all in itunes, after updating to version 11.
I basically resolved this by re-pairing it.
There may be less drastic steps that can be taken? But I found removing and then re-adding the pairing did the trick.
A bit arduous I suppose... effectively a minor reset of sorts... but my resolution steps were:
1) Removing the itunes sync account (at top) from the Settings->Computers screen on the 1st Gen Apple TV.
This took a while, and some faith, as it then removed all synched content from the Apple TV, which took several minutes... and I wasn't convinced I'd be able to then restore the sync.
2) After that process completed, I then clicked the option to add (re-add) the itunes sync account, on the Apple TV, noted the new code, went back to itunes (11.0.5), found the now unpaired Apple TV (that was now showing up again) in the left hand "Devices" list, and clicked "Setup", and then entered the new pairing code.
This let me set up synching again (although I sync the majority of my library content, in fact I set it up with the "Custom Sync" option) ...and so far, so good. It is now synching my purchases from the Apple TV into itunes, and vice versa, as it was before.
Hope this info helps someone else with a 1st Gen Apple TV...

Try going to Settings>Store and sign out and sign back in.
It also could be due to an Apple server problem. and yu will just have to wait and try again.

hey guyz,
i'm facing a proble while transfering new apps downloaded from itunes store.I have downloaded some apps for my ipod 2nd generation which when i try to sync with my ipod then it shows determining the apps and then nothing happens,apps doesn't installed in my ipod.I have already authorise my computer and also disable restrictions in my ipod.Other than apps i can transfer music,videos ,photos,etc quite easily..I don't know what's the problem???Does anybody else is facing similar kind of problem??I need a solution as i need to transfer these apps to my ipod.Help!!!

Not directly, but you can do this by syncing the iPod to iTunes on your computer so that the apps get into iTunes, then syncing the apps to your iPhone. Or you can download the apps directly from the iTunes Store to your iPhone:
