Unable to transfer ibooks contents to new ipad air 2

Greetings:
I am unable to transfer the iBooks contents from iPad 3rd generation running ios 7.1.1 to iPad Air 2 running ios 8.1.2. Most are owner's manual downloaded from manufacture web-site, a few are insurance documents and all are in PDF's format. I transfer the purchase and restore the old iPad backup from my Windows 8.1 PC to the new iPad; however, for some reason the iBooks contents do not transfer over. I contact Apple support for this issue yesterday. I have been cut off during the transfer to a supervisor and haven't received a call back since. I want to avoid spending time to search for and download all the manuals, documents again if at all possible. Any idea what the issue is and how to resolve it?

Can't transfer iBooks from Mac to iPad Air

I have just recently got an iPad Air and am trying to sync a couple epub books I downloaded. All of the research I've done to try and sync them tells me I can sync it through iTunes. But when I choose File>Devices>Sync, it doesn't give me the option of "books". It is only giving me the option to sync "my iPad". I don't know where I'm going wrong or why other options won't come up. Help?

If you use a Windows Phone 8 device, you have to go for Windows Phone App 3, at least I had to. Therefore, you need at least OS X v10.7. Because OS X v10.9 is offered for free even for OS X v10.6 users, did you consider that path?

If you Mac does not show the microSD on the desktop, what SD-Adapter do you use (brand/model)? Some require a software driver to be installed to work with OS X.

Transferring PDF's from Ipad 1 to new Ipad air using itunes on a pc

I have several pdf documents on my old ipad 1 and want to transfer them to my new ipad air. When I connect my old ipad 1 to itunes ( on a pc ) and click on the books tab under my ipad 1 and then sync books and when I go to the Library there is no place that I can find that shows my pdf documents. Where are these documents stored on my pc itunes and how do I get them on my new ipad air? I have seen similar questions like this but they all are about using a Mac as the main computer and I can not find anything regarding using itunes on a pc to do this transfer. Anyone have a suggestion??

Transferring your prepaid cellular data account depends on your carrier. AT&T lets you move it yourself when you go to Cellular Data in Settings and log into your account with your previous AT&T user name and password. For iPads with Sprint service, you can set up an account on the new iPad and contact Sprint Customer Care (888-211-4727 and go through the menus) to deactivate the old plan and get credit for unused service. For Verizon, call the company’s customer service number for mobile broadband support (800-786-8419) and ask to have your account transferred.

Transferring from Apple laptop to new iPad Air?

So I have a 7 year old Mac OS X version 10.5.8 laptop that I have some movies on that I want to transfer to my daughters new iPad Air that was purchased during Christmas last year. I plugged the iPad into my laptop for the first time and it said to type in the passcode first on my iPad, which I did, and then it gave me an error and now the iPad does not get recognized when I plug it back into my laptop. I've rebooted a number of times, on both devices, and it still does not work.
What are my options?

The information you will be looking for is listed under System Requirements in the articles. Both articles; however, state that in order to sync with your Mac, you will need Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard or later.
Your Mac may be able to run Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. Please use the next attached link to look at the System Requirements for Snow Leopard. If you would like to and are capable of upgrading your operating system, you can place the order directly from the link as well.

How to transfer iBooks books from old iPad to new iPad?

I've recently gotten an iPad Air to replace my previous iPad 2. I have a lot of books and PDFs in iBooks on the old iPad, and want to transfer them to the new iPad.
A search of Apple Support informs me that anything I've purchased from iBooks can be downloaded at any time to any of my devices (works like Amazon's Kindle system, apparently), but nearly all the content I have in iBooks I've downloaded from other sources, so it won't be in my iBooks Store account.
I've also read several instructions on how to copy all my data from the old iPad to the new, but that seems to require restoring the new iPad to factory setup, which would delete everything I have on it now – including a bunch more books I've gotten since I started using the new iPad.
Is there a way to just copy the books and PDFs in iBooks from the old iPad to the new iPad, adding them to the books on the new iPad, so I don't lose anything?

Transfer all purchases (this should transfer all the pdfs and books) from the old iPad to iTunes using the USB cable. If you have any new purchases on your new iPad do the same with that. You can then use iTunes to sync any apps, books, pdfs, music etc to the new iPad.

Do a full sync and backup of your one. I use iTunes for all my backing up. Then unplug the one and plug in the Air. Go through the setup process and when you have the choice to 'set up as new or restore from backup' chooose the the restore and your air will be a near clone of your One. You will need to reset up wifi and website passwords, but the data should be there.
Once you are sure the Air has all you need on it, you can go into the settings and 'erase all content and settings' which puts your One back to the 'out of box' state to you can sell it if you want.

Restore from iTune Backup
1. Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings
2. You'll be asked twice to confirm

         I use technology since neanderthals roamed the planet . ....don't quite understand all the nuances . .. .So, my all things "i" (apple/mac) guru has arranged a meeting,    and I'm impatient. I know some of my videos are in several formats, etc... and I don't quite understand the differences . ...to me, it's complicated, as Alec Baldwin would say.
        Unfortunately, I'm "late" to the game metaphoricaly ( windows vs apple/mac ). I have a couple ipods and actually endorse the ijet remote device (Co. from San Diego). I have pro tools and other hi tech gear in the pro keyboards/sequencing arena where I've been writing computer music since 80's and it's evolution.

The Apple video app is very limited in what it will play. If you have multiple video formats and if they will play on an iPad, then you likely need a 3rd party vidoe app. One such is BUZZPlayer which is available in the iTunes App Store on a Mac or PC or from the App Store app on an iOS device.
You transfer the videos to 3rd party video apps using iOS File Sharing.
