Unable to turn on homesharing on iphone and ipad.
Hello,
i hope someone is able to help me here.
I have updated software on my iphone 3GS and ipad 2. But both are not picking up my Apple id and password.(They are correct username and password).
Hence i am unable to use that facility.
Can somebody help me here?
I have turned on homesharing on my windows itunes.

when you say not picking up your Apple ID do you mean the fields are empty? You need to enter them for Home sharing on the iPad/iPhone and iTunes needs to be on and all need internet access.
Make sure you go into Settings - Video and ensure your Apple ID and Password (as you entered in iTunes) is there, try removing and adding again if it does not work and has the right details
Also go into Settings - Music and do the same.

I try to search for a banking app, for example, and it suggests "It came upon a midnight clear" from my iTunes library. Perhaps you are spelling the name of the apps wrong. Try pages or the name of your banking app.

How do i deactivate a device through icloud if the device is broken and i am unable to turn on find my iphone? Also i do not own a apple id as ive been using a family members due to problems when trying to make one?

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like you need to deactivate Find My iPhone on a device that does not work. When the device is erased, click Remove from Account.All your content is erased and someone else can now activate the device.

Use 2nd gen apple tv and remote control app on iphones and ipad. We can control some functions on the apple tv but unable to purchase, access such controls as reset, restart, turn off home sharing, etc. Home sharing stuck on old apple ID. Please help.
That is why I said to restore via iTunes, did you check the link?
This will put it back to factory settings and you can set it up with the new ID once you reconnect with your HDTV. This is not done via ethernet, as per the link you need to connect to the computer via micro usb. You cannot bypass home sharing.
FYI: An Apple ID cannot be deleted so the old one would still exist (even if you no longer use the email account it is associated with). -
Mail on my iPad and iPhone has stopped connecting using wifi. If I turn wifi off I can connect using cellular. I have tried deleting my AOL account and setting it up again as a new account but that hasn't helped.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

upgraded to iOS7 but cant accept the terms and conditions as it is 'unable to connect to server' on both my iPhone and iPad, whilst my collegues all could accept them...RESET did NOT work. Any alternative thoughts?
I got it to work by enabling cookies in safari settings and turning off private browsing. Cookies are probably the key thing here. Accept button will appear at bottom right of first screen of agreement.

You need to ask Apple for assistance with getting back into your old ID. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to resolve this issue through the Account Security team, fill out and submit this form.

I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

A month ago my iPhone was stolen, I turned on Activation Lock but it never came out BUT an hour ago somehow my apple ID was changed and someone removed from the account both my iPhone and iPad and the iPad was also remotely wiped. As soon as I saw it I recover the password and return the access to my iPad. But iPhone is not registered for my apple ID any longer. Can Apple help me somehow? I have all the documents and the iPhone box. Will they lock the iPhone and return me access to it. I'm sure it's been attached to another apple ID.

Unable to see my library to sync my iPhone and iPad on my new iMac.
I've just replaced my iMac and cannot see my library on the sync window.
I have entered the library location into preferences but it will not see the library at all.
Hence I am unable to sync music to my iPhone and ipadHi ..
Syncing your music can be done via iTunes connecting your devices via USB to the iMac.
This process is not done via preferences.
You may need to authorize the new iMac.
Launch iTunes.
From the iTunes menu bar click Store > Authorize This Computer
Then sync your music > Sync your iPhone, iPad and iPod with iTunes using USB - Apple Support -
I did set up the password when I got the phone and iPad months ago but never turned it on. Now it is asking for the passwords for both my iPhones and iPad and I cannot select not the have the passwords active.
If you do not want to use passcodes, why don't you just go to Settings > General > Passcode Lock and delete the passcode and set the lock to OFF. That will eliminate the problems all together.

I have another account that i can't delete off my phone because lost my recovery key and password. How do i get rid of this account? it will not let me turn off find my iphone and delete account. Can anyone help?

From what you're describing appears to be Activation Lock, a security measure provided by Apple that makes it harder for people to use a lost or stolen device. You will need to enter the password for the Apple ID the device is prompting you for.

Forgot to turn off find my iphone and reset phone
Didn't turn off find my iphone and sold my 5c. They reset the phone and now can't log out of my icloud on the phone. Tried resetting and now says verification failed an SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made. That comes up everytime I try to delete the icloud or log out, and now I tried to reset the phone again and comes up that message. I logged into icloud online and removed the phone from my icloud. Still nothing!!!
