Unable to understand differrences in Response Trace

Please help in trying to understand the difference of the following Response Traces (I need to change the scenario back so that the response trace looks like the first one) :

and

5.<Trace level="1" type="T">no interface found </Trace> and Nil
6.Nil
and
<Trace level="3" type="T">Load 155fc320-f69f-11d8-97f7-c0140a114c15, http://sap.com/xi/GDSConsole, -1, com/sap/gds/transform/GDSToDP.class. </Trace>

its declaring a string "msg" and assigning a value to it.
{0}", _                        Dts.Variables(0).Value.ToString()
{0} is replaced by a variable value
