Wish to unsubscribe to printgram. I am unable to establish a working account.

I have been unable to unsubscribe to the daily hp newsletter. I set up an account and am told I either don't have an account or the password is incorrrect. I have changed passwords and the same thing occurs. Please stop these daily printings as I am not interested and can't afford all the paper and COLOR ink. Thank you. C. Wright

Go to http://www.snapfish.com/ and click on "Log In" in the top right hand corner of the page. Next, click on "Forgot your password?". Put your email address in there and hit submit. You will recieve a temporary password and a link to change it. After you change it, you should be able to go to http://www.eprintcenter.com/ and log in with your email address and the password that you just created. After you get into your account, you will be able to unsubscribe from Printgram.
If that doesn't work for you, the only other option would be to remove web services on your printer. If you currently use ePrint, you will lose your ePrint email address. You can create a new one, but your old one will not be available for 6 months until it is cleared out of the system.
Let me know if the first suggestion works for you or not. If it does not, let me know what printer you have and I'll give you the steps for removing web services.

News feed cannot be unsubscribed

I added FOXNews news feed and it continues to show only the date I did it - April 9, 2011. When I try to delete it, I get "unable to unsubscribe" message. What now?

Hello klamson. You may need to uninstall and then reinstall this application. Follow the steps below to uninstall:
- From the Home screen, select the applications tab (lower-left corner).
- Select Settings.
- Select Applications.
- Select Manage applications.
- Select the application.
- Select Uninstall.
- Select OK.
- Then OK again.
Once the application is removed, perform a soft reset by removing the battery then back in. Power on the device and try to download again from the Market.

Unsubscribe-iTunes weekly email

I am unable to unsubscribe from iTunes' Tuesdays emails. When I enter my email address it does not recognize it, yet it recognizes it well enough to continually send emails.
Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance for looking at my message. I have a Macbook Pro-Retina. When I am looking at emails, and some junk email, how do I unsubscribe? I go to the bottom of the email where there is a ? link to unsubscribe, however, when I hover over the link or try to click on the link nothing happens. I have tried to Right click or two fingers but still nothing. I know someone out there is clever enough to explain in Simple terms how to do this. All help will be gratefully received! Many thanks.

Indeed, if it's a phishing attempt as BobTheFisherman points out, an active "unsubscribe" link might well be notification to the Spammer that your email address is live and can be sold to others for further use. You don't want to tell the Spammer that.

Using Windows 8.1, when I went to view some jpg's earlier today, I found they now show as "Adobe Acrobat Documents." When I try to open one, I get the error message that they are jpg's and Adobe is unable to open a jpg.???

And it was easy -- once I went to "Properties" in Windows Explorer. That was the tough part -- finding where to make the change.

Unable to Install Flash Player 11.7.700.169 on OSX 10.7.5

I have tried everything I can think of to install your new version. On Sunday, I downloaded the 11.7.700.169 installation .dmg. When I double clicked on the Install Adobe Flash Player, it reported:
Creating image
Downloading image
Installing Flash Player
I got prompted for my password, and responded. Then it reports a "General Installation Failure" and stops.
I have rebooted, run Disk Utility to repair permissions, uninstalled Flash Player, and eventually installed a downlevel version of Flash Player. I have tried to enter this message using Firefox, but your web site goes into a loop redirecting to https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=ca&returnurl=http://forums.adobe.com /adobe_login&loc=en
I am including the console log from my latest installation attempt.

This turned out to be a permissions issue for me, your milage may vary. Note: This could be dangerous, you could always backup your file perms and put them back once flash is installed.
1. Open console on your mac, go to the system.log section
2. Attempt to install, after it downloads and fails use the "String Matching" at the top and type in "flash"
     You should get a section that looks like this:

This could be dangerous, I'm not sure with the repercussions are. However, I do know I can use flash now. Obviously, if you aren't savy in terminal commands you shouln't be running them. I take no responsibility for any irresponsible actions, know what this means before you do it.

Unable to install Elements 12 on Windows 8.1

When I try to install Elements 12 on Windows 8.1, the install fails. It says it needs DirectPlay, but according to Microsoft, that has been depricated. I'm caught in a vicious loop trying to get Elements 12 installed on my PC. What's up with that?

Unable to attach PDF to email (Outlook for Mac 2011)

We are pushing out software upgrades for CS5 and MS Office 2011 for Mac. We've discoverd that we can't use the Attach to email feature in Acrobat. The spinning rainbow wheel pops up for about a minute, and then Acrobat is non-responsive and we have to force quit. We can still drag and drop an attachment so we have a viable workaround but obviously we'd like to be able to use the automated feature.
All software is up-to-date.
In the preferences panel of Outlook, we have selected Outlook to be the default mail application.
As a sidenote, this feature doesn't work with Acobat X beta either. However, in the beta version of Acrobat X, if we declare Apple's mail application to be the default, it works fine. Unfortunately we use the Office suite as part of our enterprise system, so that's what we need to work with.
Has anyone else experienced this? I've logged a ticket with Adobe but I haven't heard back from them yet.

Take the bhama way
figured out how to make it work. I am using Adobe Acrobat X Pro (mac)
and MS Outlook for Mac 2011.
For those who are interested, this is what I did:
1. Create a folder on desktop to save your pdf¹s files you want to email
to. Mine is named, "PDF to Email"
2. Open Automator, create a "Folder Action"
3. At the top, "Choose Folder", choose your newly created folder on the
desktop
4. Choose the "Rename Finder Items" action from the action list. I chose,
"Don¹t Add" on the add a Copy Finder Items Action menu.
5. On the "Add Date or Time to Finder Item Names" I chose, "Name Single
Item" from the first drop down menu.
6. Click on "Options" at the bottom of that window to select the "Show
this action when the workflow runs" so you can rename your file
something other than the Acrobat default.
7. Choose the "Create New Outlook Mail Message" from the action list and
add it below the "Name Single Item in Finder Item Names"
8. Choose "File>Save As" and give your file a name. Mine is, "PDF to
Email".
9. Close Automator
10. Open Acrobat X Pro.
11. Go to "File>Action Wizard>Create New Action"
12. Here you choose, "Save to>A Folder on my computer"
13. Choose the folder on the desktop that we saved earlier
14. Save the file, with the action name you will remember.
Now when you are in Acrobat X Pro and you want to send that .pdf file via
Outlook for Mac 2011, follow the steps below.
With the file you want to email open, go to "File>Action Wizard>(Action
you created) Mine is "PDF to Email". It will take a few seconds, but you
will get an "Action Completed". You will get a pop up that allows you to
name/rename the file. Then it should open your Outlook with your .pdf
attached and ready for sending.
You might need to tweak the actions to suit your needs, but this should
work for you.

It's supposed to work now? I've made sure I'm on latest (check for update)
and it says I am. Still get an error. It does bring Outlook to the

There's nothing to detail it doesn't work.

If the unsubscribe header the add-on uses is present it shows up in the mail header along with the from Subject to etc. With or Without the add-on. So if there is no entry in the header, then the mail sender does not support that style of unsubscribing. In the United States unsubscribing from a mailing list is troublesome as legislators are either are unable or unwilling to understand the problem. Given the amounts of money involved I will go with the latter.

code.
The code is in the class that implements the interface therefore even if you
can pass an objet
reference as an interface you better be sure that the object that will use
it has access to the
implementation. It works when it is not distributed because all of the code
is on the client therefore
is accessible. Once distributed the partition containing PlanSO does not
have the library wich
contains the code for PlanTester therefore it cannot execute code in
PlanTester. If you
want to do this and not put PlanTester in the same Plan as PlanSO I think
you can copy the library wich
contains the code for PlanTester on the server partition and it will not
give you a deserialization error
because now it can find the executable code.
This could also probably happen with inheritance for example you have a
class defined in plan A (ClassA)
and plan B (wich has plan A supplier) contains a sub-class of ClassA
(ClassB). Now in one partition you
create a ClassB then pass it to another partition in a method call of
signature Something( p1 : ClassA ).
ClassB will fit in ClassA so you can do this (it will compile). But if the
partition on wich you are calling
Something() does not have access to the code in plan B then you will get a
deserialization error.

I have run across a supplier plan problem that I think I can explain, but
would like confirmation and maybe further explanation on.
The scenario:
I have three plans (PlanClasses, PlanSO, and PlanTester).
PlanClasses has classes that PlanSO and PlanTester use, including an
interface called Observer.
PlanSO has the Service Object and the class that the service object
implements. It has PlanClasses as a supplier.
PlanSO has a method called subscribe(Observer client).
PlanTester is a test client. It has PlanClasses as a supplier. It
implements the Observer interface, and calls the subscribe method on the
PlanSO passing itself as an Observer to the SO.
Anybody see the problem yet?
I run this scenario locally and everything is dandy.
I run this scenario distributed and I get a deserialization exception. The
PlanSO cannot deserialize the test client object that I had passed as an
Observer because it cannot find a reference to the PlanTester plan.
If I put the test client class in the PlanSO plan and partition the
application the same way, it works. The service object needed a reference
to the test client class even though it is getting passed as an Observer
interface.
Has anybody run into this before? Can anybody give me further details on
why forte has this problem?
I get the same exception whether the distrubted runtime property on the
client is allowed or not allowed. If it is set to not allowed, shouldn't
only an OID be sent across, and no serialization need take place? If the
object is serialized, I guess it does make sense that you would need the
details of the implementation of the interface (da class) to deserialized
it.
Note: I used this pattern instead of Forte events because I am going to
expose the SO as a CORBA interface. Right now, for the forte clients that
use the SO, I am registering for forte events which are posted by the SO to
get around this problem.

ClassB will fit in ClassA so you can do this (it will compile). But if the
partition on wich you are calling
Something() does not have access to the code in plan B then you will get a
deserialization error.

I have run across a supplier plan problem that I think I can explain, but
would like confirmation and maybe further explanation on.
The scenario:
I have three plans (PlanClasses, PlanSO, and PlanTester).
PlanClasses has classes that PlanSO and PlanTester use, including an
interface called Observer.
PlanSO has the Service Object and the class that the service object
implements. It has PlanClasses as a supplier.
PlanSO has a method called subscribe(Observer client).
PlanTester is a test client. It has PlanClasses as a supplier. It
implements the Observer interface, and calls the subscribe method on the
PlanSO passing itself as an Observer to the SO.
Anybody see the problem yet?
I run this scenario locally and everything is dandy.
I run this scenario distributed and I get a deserialization exception. The
PlanSO cannot deserialize the test client object that I had passed as an
Observer because it cannot find a reference to the PlanTester plan.
If I put the test client class in the PlanSO plan and partition the
application the same way, it works. The service object needed a reference
to the test client class even though it is getting passed as an Observer
interface.
Has anybody run into this before? Can anybody give me further details on
why forte has this problem?
I get the same exception whether the distrubted runtime property on the
client is allowed or not allowed. If it is set to not allowed, shouldn't
only an OID be sent across, and no serialization need take place? If the
object is serialized, I guess it does make sense that you would need the
details of the implementation of the interface (da class) to deserialized
it.
Note: I used this pattern instead of Forte events because I am going to
expose the SO as a CORBA interface. Right now, for the forte clients that
use the SO, I am registering for forte events which are posted by the SO to
get around this problem.
