By posting just once the same thread issue is enough. It becomes quite difficult to keep track of a duplicated post.
If you think your original thread has not been responded in a timely manner, it is just enough to update it so it bounces back to the top.

Unable to add the Listener class in project .
Hi friends ,
I'm using deploytool of Sun's AppServer 8.2.
I'm not abel to add the Eventlistener class in the project.
In the Help Menu the given following discription to Add the Event Listener call
Web Application WAR File -> Event Listeners tabbed pane
1. Click Add to add an event listener to the Event Listener Classes list.
Locate any event listener classes contained in this WAR file in the drop-down list in the Event Listener Classes pane.
(note:There is no any drop-down list in in the Event Listener Classes pane.)
2. If the event listener class is not in the list, in the General tab, click Edit and to go to the Edit Contents dialog box where the event listener class can be added to the contents of the WAR file. Upon return the event listener class will be in the pull-down list.
(note:But the listener class is present in General tab ,WEB-INF->classes->listeners(In the Contents of the General tab.))
How could i resolved this , i mean how to add Event Listener Classes in project ?
(Same problem while adding error page and filter classes which are also present in the General tab)
Regards,
Sachin Warang.I suggest using NetBeans IDE 5.5, which integrates easily with various appservers, including Sun Java System Application Server.

Listener is connected so their is no error at that tailexcellent point.
using localhost/127.0.0.1 means that no remote client can ever connect to listener/DB
The upside is that your DB like mine can NEVER be hacked across the *NET! -

By changing the Oracle on its 1st Positon
as Below & Restarting the PC the Listerner got Started
path Value in Environment Variable is updated as Below as Before the Installation of BugZilla

Hi,
I currently using v2.25 mac bookflip. The problem I am facing is that the onMouseDown and onMouseUp works well in swf. However, when the I upload to the web server and localhost. The chances for them to work are 50-50.
The truth is I was unable to drag the pages and I have no ideas what to do, and where to the start from can anyone tell me. what to do next?
To call the MouseUp. Basically, One swf (preloader)> load another swf (main menu and selection of books) > load another swf to read the book flip which my mouseDown is here.
Here is all the codes from mac v2.25 bookflip function. I only change the setPages function to make it load dynamically.
Notes, the problem is not sometimes. It many times.

Unable to identify from where the listener run
Hi,
In my env we have 2 oracle binaries&4 dbs. one listener is configured for all databases. I have modified the listener (Delete all entries) and start the listener.
Few minutes it is showing that no services added to the listener. After 3 minutes, automatically all database services added and went to ready state. I can't able to identify from where the services added.
Incase if i added any entries in the listener.ora file, that services went to unknown state. Then what could be issues?
OS-solaris
NO CLUSTER/RAC.
oracle 10g.
I am new to this env. so i cant able to find from where the listener file read ,from where the services running as ready?
Note:- if i check lsnrctl status,it shows the perfect listener file what i edit.
Please help me.
Thanks in advance.LOG FROM listener.log

I tried starting the server from the console as well as from command prompt. Here I am giving the command below.
nohup ./startManagedWebLogic.sh bi_server1 t3://machineIP:portNo > bis1_startup.log &
But each time I got the same exception.

Unable to retrieve server listen address through MBEAN API in Weblogic 10.3
Hi,
I am using weblogic 10.3 and i am lookign to retrive the listen address of the weblogic server where my application has been deployed. I have used the below piece of code to do that.
Code snippet :
======================================
private Properties loadXMLSchema(Properties cosbProps)
String serverName, serverPort, serverUrl;
Environment env = new Environment();
Hashtable ht = new Hashtable();
Context ctx = null;
try
ht.put(Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL,
cosbProps.getProperty("COSB.security.principal"));
ht.put(Context.SECURITY_CREDENTIALS,
cosbProps.getProperty("COSB.security.credentials"));
ctx = new InitialContext(ht);
MBeanHome home = MBeanHome)ctx.lookup(MBeanHome.LOCAL_JNDI_NAME);
serverName = home.getMBeanServer().getServerName();
Object mbeanArray[] =
home.getMBeansByType("ServerConfig").toArray();
int i = 0;
for (i = 0; i < mbeanArray.length; i++)
DynamicMBean mbean = (DynamicMBean)mbeanArray;
if (serverName.equals(mbean.getAttribute("Name")))
break;
DynamicMBean mbean = (DynamicMBean)mbeanArray[i];
serverPort =
mbean.getAttribute("ListenPort").toString();
serverUrl =
mbean.getAttribute("ListenAddress").toString();
Properties props = new Properties();
props.setProperty("port", serverPort);
props.setProperty("ipAddress", serverUrl);
return props;
catch (Exception ex)
System.out.println("exception in loadXMLSchema method" + ex);
return null;
======================================
This code is successfully running in wls 8.15 and i can able to see the listen address(ip address where weblogic server is running) in the JNDI information of weblogic server.
Now when i try this same piece of code in wls 10.3 , i am not able to see the listen address(ip address where weblogic server is running) in the JNDI information of weblogic server. The listen address is coming as NULL. I have tried to align the JMX specification in wls 10.3 by using the following argument in JDK startup option.
-Djmx.serial.form=1.0
But still the listen address is unable to reflect in JNDI specifcations of wls 10.3.
Would you please help in getting the listen address information in wls 10.3.
Thanks, Pralay

startManagedWebLogic should call setDomainEnv which should call commEnv
On Windows, mine is located here:
<WLS_11gPS1_Install>\wlserver_10.3\common\bin\commEnv.cmd
Looking at commEnv.sh it looks like you should be able to search for "SunOS" to see the section that specifies the locations of 64bit shared objects on your LD_LIBRARY_PATH.That is the first place that I looked.
Here's the code:
<pre>
SunOS)
arch=`uname -m`
if [ -n "${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}" ]; then
<snip>
if [ "${SUN_ARCH_DATA_MODEL}" = "64" ]; then
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}:${WL_HOME}/server/native/solaris/sparc64:${WL_HOME}/server/native/solaris/sparc64/oci920_8
else
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}:${WL_HOME}/server/native/solaris/sparc:${WL_HOME}/server/native/solaris/sparc/oci920_8
# LD_LIBRARY_PATH=${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}:${WL_HOME}/server/native/solaris/sparc64:${WL_HOME}/server/native/solaris/sparc/oci920_8
</pre>
Even when 64-bit is selected and WebLogic starts with a 64-bit JVM, it does not set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH accordingly. As you see I have even tried forcing the path - but even that didn't work. It seems to be overriding the value elsewhere.
One thing: what is the "vendor" supposed to be set as when using the Sun JBM? Sun? Oracle? I notice that further down the script it checks for "Oracle." -
Error while creating request list Unable to detect the SAP system directory
We are upgrading SAP BW (NW 7.0 EHP1) to SAP BW (NW 7.3)
source OS: Windows 2008 R2, source DB: MSSQL server 2008 R2 SP1 CU3
I had started the upgrade by running: STARTUP.BAT
I had started the DSUGui on the server (CI / DB on the same server) from: D:\usr\sap\BP1\upg\sdt\exe\DSUGui.bat
I ran both programs (run as administrators).
Once SAP Gui connects and was able to create userid/ password and when ready to start the initialization phase (click next)
gives me the error

I had tried STARTUP.BAT "jce_policy_zip=Z:\export-import\downloads\jce_policy-6' and still the same error.

PrathapDid you get this solved?
I have the same problem -
Unable to get the JDBC from context
Dear experts
I am new to Sun Application Server and I am trying hard to get the JDBC/ JMS connection factory via context factory.
I tried two ways, one is the method in the development guide to get troough IIOP connection
Properties lProps = new Properties();
lProps.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, com.sun.jndi.cosnaming.CNCtxFactory);
lProps.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, "iiop://192.168.0.1:33700")
Object lvLookupObj = ivContext1.lookup("java:comp/env/jdbc/myJDBC");
Another way is just new a blank inital context and lookup for the same thing.
Both run in a JSP which packed in a war and deployed.
For the first method, I got this:
Unable to create IIOP listener on the specified host/port: all interfaces/33700"
For 2nd method, I got this:
javax.naming.NameNotFoundException
Anyone can tell me what I have done wrong? since I have followed the development guide and the other seems also do in the same way. I checked the JNDI in the node agent which shows the JDBC factory is deployed and appear in the JNDI.
Many thanks in advance.What media are you trying to import? There won't be any media returned with get_media unless you but media in to begin with using the set_media cmd. However, it's preferable to use the media MDEX rather than storing media in the ECR.

Thanks,
Ravi ShankerHi Ravi,
it is generally recommended that all new classes support POF in this or that way. This or that means either implementing PortableObject or to provide a PofSerializer implementation to be able to optimally serialize their state. Obviously it is not always possible but you should try to achieve that.
If it is not possible, then you can still convert them to byte[] or String by some other means. If that other means is Java serialization, then Coherence provides a different PofContext implementation (SafeConfigurablePofContext) which you can use instead of ConfigurablePofContext and which is able to fall back to Java serialization for Serializable classes (and also for types not registered in POF configuration but which implement PortableObject). However it is recommended that SafeConfigurablePofContext is not used in production, typically because Java serialization is generally inferior to POF serialization when looking at performance and serialized size, and SafeConfigurablePofContext does not force you to do the right thing, and finally because Java serialization is not platform-independent whereas POF is.

I am facing the error while starting the server. I see the following error.

If the port is already in use how to find which server is running on that port, how to find the process and kill it. I am using weblogic 8.1 sp4 in Solaris 8.Bruce:
It sounds like (as you already note) failed to shutdown WLS, that is why the
.loc file was held and why the port is in use, WLS process was still
running. To see why it failed to shut down, I would examine the
weblogic.log, aslo the servers std out and err. Additionally taking a
thread dump (if possible) on the "it wont shut down" wls java process should
show (maybe unless the VM is hosed), where/what is hanging on/around. Do
you happen to have native code running with wls, say a type 2 JDBC driver?
Otherwise it sounds like a VM bug. But more data is needed to be sure.

I was shutting down the WLS server using the console shutdown and itfailed to shutdown completely. I then attempted to use the kill command on
the process which usually works. This time I was unable to kill the process
without using the kill -9 command. When I attempted to bring the server
back up I got a failure to get a lock on the embedded ldap. I removed the
.loc file and came further up but was unable to get further than the
listener ports which were still locked to the old process. Do you know of
anything I can do the get the WLS server back up without rebooting my
Solaris server????
netstat -an shows the port is in use but the only process that is alloweduse that port is WLS. -
One of our DPs has stopped loading content.
I've research for quite a bit and cannot find a clear cut reason to this. This server only has a DP role, I verified sharing permissions, all looked good. This DP has been running just fine for the last year or so and all sudden it will no longer load
packages. The disk drive is still present I can still reach the hidden share \\servername.com\E$
Verified that the SMSSIG$ folder is there and the last entry is from 4/23/2015

There can be a number of reasons for this from SMB compatibility issues (2003 servers wont support SMB2), to the expected and actual computer name of the boxes don't match (tries to authenticate with server.tld.com when the actual name is srv-01.tld.com and
you just put a C-name in). I'd start from the top: Try opening said share from the Primary Site server as that's the box doing the work. Verify the IP and computer name is legit and that no one has played ACL games between the two systems (remember
RPC only initiates/listens on port 135 but established connections are up in the dynamic port range).
At the end of the day it's an issues "underneath" SCCM, and not an SCCM problem specifically. -
Why am I unable to sort the music on my iPhone 4S when viewing it in iTunes?
Hello,
Apologies if this has been answered already; I searched for it but none of the results appeared relevent to my issue.
I have an ipod touch 4th generation, which I manually manage from the the iTunes library on my home PC (Windows 7, 32bit). I am able to plug the ipod touch into my work laptop, to listen to the music on it through iTunes. I can see the list of songs on my ipod via the 'Music' tab of the 'Devices' section in iTunes. In that view, I am also able to sort the list as I see fit, by clicking on the various column headings to change the order of that column appropriately.
I have recently purchased an iPhone 4S, and loaded it with music from my own computer's iTunes library in the same way I did for my ipod. However, when viewing the songs on my 4S on my work laptop in the same way as above, I am unable to sort the view at all. Why is this?
It's annoying not being able to sort the songs in an order different to how they were sorted on the parent machine. For example, if I'm looking in my song list for a song I added recently, I was able to find them on my ipod by simply ordering the list by Date Added or Date Modified, but there seems to be no way of doing this for the 4S?
Thanks in advance.Thanks for your message.
I have downloaded the latest iTunes [11.1.5 (5)] with no luck, unfortunately. As it did with 11.1.4 (62), iTunes recognizes my iPhone, I can select the music to sync, click sync, it appears to sync but remains completely unchanged in my iPhone music.
Any tips are welcome! -
Unable to do the restriction at Fund Center or FM Area when FM is not activ
Hi,
we have the following business requirement:
Background of the issue:
Field Status variant in Account Assignment category and GL:
We are in the process of rolling out one of our company codes which is
in a different instance(server).
We already have some 130+ company codes running in a different
instance. This is a kind of Instance consolidation to bring all systems
under one instance.
Funds Management has been activated in the company code for which we
are carrying out the rollout. FM has not been activated for the
existing company codes.
Now, the issue is with regard to the field status variants, which can
be controlled at the company code level and which cannot be controlled
which is at the client level.
(i) The existing company codes have a field status variant which
has the field status groups having the fields Commitment items and
Funds center in Suppress mode in the existing instance.
(ii) The company to be rolled out has the field status variant which
has field status groups having the fields Commitment items and Funds
Center in Optional mode.
(iii) On the other hand, there is yet another field status control
for the Account assignment objects like Cost center, WBS elements, etc.
in the MM-FI integration area. This is at client level and at present
the same has the status of u201CSuppressu201D for Commitment items and Funds
Center. We have changed the same to u201COptionalu201D for the purpose of
testing the proposed roll out in our existing instance.
In that case, the status of GL account assignment in above is
clashing with our client level field status as described in (iii)
above. As a result, we are forced to change the field status in
above to optional mode for our existing company codes which we do not
intend to do.
When only one company within a group of companies is activated with FM,
I feel that:
(i) At the client level, there is no option for me other than to
keep the Funds center and commitment items in optional mode
(ii) At the GL level, I should be able to keep my field status in
Suppress mode (If FM is not activated) and in Optional mode (If FM is
activated) and SAP should be able to take care of the clash in the
field status at the transaction level in such a scenario.
The issue is we are able to control the access if FM is activated for a particular company code, where as we are unable to control the access for other company codes where FM is not activated and FM Area is not linked.
We tried to use the BADI ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST, but this is applicable for POs only.
Please look into this issue and help us in meeting our business requirement.
Thanks & Regards,
RamakrishnaHi Justin,
Thanks for the extra points.
Copy and save this bold text some where
/Applications/iChat.app/Contents/MacOS/iChat -errorLogLevel 7
This needs to be run in Terminal.
iChat needs to be shut down to do so.
Just paste it in Terminal after the Welcome to Darwin message and hit enter.
It will launch iChat and create an on-going log in the Terminal window.
You will see the reference to the Harware rules.plist
Further down you will see the bandwidth found by iChat, followed by the number of Audio and Video Buddies that you can support.
It goes on.....
It makes a note of the router that you are connected to.
After that it will end up lists listening checks until you connect to a Chat.
This makes this a useful way to find out what iChat can see at it's startup.
To Stop - Quit iChat in the Normal way.
Save the Log in a Text editor of some sort. (Post here if required).
Then Quit Terminal.
It is a useful tool to highlight some things in the start up phase, (And a reminder to look in specific places) when you think you have looked at all the settings.
