Unable to update credit card details.

Hi all,
My credit card was replaced and I need to update the details on my CC subscription. However, when I try accessing the 'Edit Payment Details' page on the web, I end up getting the following error page:
Server Error
Error:
We are currently unable to perform the selected action. Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience. We have been notified and are already working to correct this issue as quickly as possible. Please click your browser's back button and try this action at a later time, or take a different action.
Error Number:  PMT_000008
Been trying this for the past few weeks, and now my subscription has been changed to FREE from PAID. The online chat support did not help at all (they said they will email me within 2 working days but it has already been more than a week). Are there are any Adobe staff out there who can shed some light into this issue? It's bloody annoying that your systems aren't working as expected.

    Each time that you add or change your card details then a small temporary store holding charge (i.e. $1) may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

    Yes I'm facing the same VERY FRUSTRATING PROBLEMS.
    Thanks Romsinha for you kind words and I know that it's not your fault, but it's not enough to try to fix this issue over the
    chat or phone. It needs to be escalated to whoever at ADOBE manages Creative Cloud Bugs.
    I just logged the following under the "Creative Suite" Bug reports, since I can not find anything CC related:
    ******BUG******
    THIS IS A CREATIVE CLOUD BUG FOR
    WHICH I COULD NOT FIND ANY REPORTING OPTION IN THE DROPDOWN BOX
    Concise problem statement:
    Extremly frustrating issue with updating credit card details
    Steps to reproduce bug:
    1. Log in to my Adobe Account
    2. Go To 'My Products and Services'
    3. Find that my Creative Cloud Subscription needs credit card details updated
    4. Click on update and then edit credit card info
    5. See that the credit card info has updated
    6. Wait for Adobe to deduct payment from my account.
    7. On next day get notification that I'm one day closer to my membership running out (due to me not having updated my credit card details - apparently)
    8. Get in touch with Support over 24/7 Chat
    9. Actions that are suggested to me, are steps 1-6 which I (being very frustrated) execute AGAIN.
    10. Wait for steps 7-8 to repeat
    11. Contact Adobe Phone "Support"
    12. Have Adobe suggest me to repeat steps 1-6.
    13. Me being very very frustrated doing the same f****ing thing again, using two different credit cards, both which work perfect with any other, offline (in supermarket) and online - transaction.
    14. Have steps 7-8 repeat again.
    15. Trying to find other ways to bring it to ADOBES ATTENTION THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM, AND THERE ARE EVEN FORUM POSTS WITH OTHER PEOPLE REPORTING THE SAME ISSUE.
    16. Me not finding an option to report bugs for Creative Cloud and Hence deciding to log the request under Creative Suite (hoping that one of you guys will take on the responsibility & courage to forward this to the Creative Cloud Department

    I'm trying to update my grandma's Skype credit card details to the new credit card details (same numbers just new expiry date) for her recurring payments on Skype. I follow all the prompts but the final step requires Mastercard to verify the card with an online bank account which she doesn't have and has no intention of getting which means there is no way to update her credit card details for the recurring payments.     It looks like the payment details are being rejected.  Please check this with your card issuer before trying to update them again.  The phone number for Australia is 1800 614 863.

    Please help.
    Im trying to change my app store from Autralia to New Zealand.  It is telling me i need to spend the credit on my itunes account before i can make this change.  So i went to make a purchase, however my Credit Card details need updating, and i no longer have my australian credit card.  I tried inputting NZ credit card details, but this was not allowed.
    How do i get around this? If i dont have a valid Australian Credit Card to make purchases using my available itunes credit, to then eventually change regions in app store?

    You can only use a credit card issued by a Australian bank on an Australian account. Try contacting iTunes Support and ask them if they can remove the balance so that you can change countries : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

    Apparently you have to delete your cookies, refresh the browser and/or try a different browser. But even then, good luck getting the Credit Card details accepted.

  • Update Credit Card details for Photoshop Photography Program purchased via Digital River

    I need to update my credit card detail for my Photoshop Photography Program subscription.  I am not able to update via the website as I get an error.  I contacted support but they told me to cancel my subscription and order a new one.  I don't accept this as I subscribed to the Photoshop Photography Program which is no longer available.  I should be able to continue the subscription by updating my credit card info but support claims that this cannot be done since the subscription is via Digital River.  Digital River is no help their site and the staff direct me back to Adobe's site which give the error.  I don't accept that I will have to lose my Photoshop Photography Program subscription because of Adobe's choice of a payment processing partner and their inability to update my credit card details - this amounts to a bait-and-switch in my opinion.  How can I update the details?  I've waited three days for another response from Adobe and the subscription will fail tomorrow...

  • CC subscription is cancelled even though I have updated Credit card details

    Hi - I have just about given up on Adobe. I have unsuccessfully tried to update my Credit card detals, again, in fact at least 5 times, and have now had my subscription cancelled. This is all due to the hacking incident last year. You really have stuffed up! I was told to get a new card, I entered new card details and constantly got emails telling me to update my card details. What's going on !!! I also got an email, with a copy of an invoice, telling me that a payment was made from my account but it never happened. What do I do now?

    Adobe sends me notice that credit card is expiring.
    Login to store/site to update credit card.
    No link or page on which to update credit card.
    How do I update credit card if there is nowhere to do it?

    1.- http://www.adobe.com
    2.- Click on 'My Adobe' (upper right corner underneath the search box)
    3.- Once you are in 'My Adobe' look under My Products and services and click on 'My subscriptions and services'
    4.- Find Creative Cloud membership and click on Active on the right side
    5.- A new pop-up window will come up and you can edit away just click on EDIT BILLING.
    or you can call Adobe's horrible customer service and hope they understand the reason you call about and all of this in the hope that you got thru after waiting for hours at a time, their number is 1-800-833-6687

    Thanks, this helped. In the end it was my Credit Card Issuer who had put  a Flag on ITunes Purchases. They cleared the flags and I was immediately able to update my new Security Code and Expiry Date.
