Unable to update iPhone 4 from 4.3.2

Hi
I have a Windows 7 Home Premium with McAfee Antivirus Plus.
The iPhone 4 is on iOS 4.3.2.
Whenever I start updating the OS, it starts of with saying 5-6 hrs remaining, and 10-15 minutes later it says that the network connection timed out.
Last night it ran for 4 hrs and eventually the same error.
I have tried with Antivirus and Firewall off but to no avail.
Q1 - what may i do to make it work?
Q2 - People have reported niggling issues with this OS update. are most of these issue sorted or should I stay where I am?
Any help will me much appreciated.

with that error message i could be your anti virus,anti spyware ot any other security settings or it could be your internet connection,try use diff computer if you have an apple store in your that you can visit and use there computer that would isolate the problem

The error message is talking about storage space in your iPhone not on iCloud which is what you bought.
You are going to have to clean up space on your iPhone by removing files from it. Good candidate for removal are music and photos.

Was an error code included in the message? If so, please include it.
Do you have the correct iOS 5 file downloaded? Go here: http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=750 and make sure you download the correct .ipsw for your iPhone. If your iPhone 4 is on AT&T (or uses a SIM), it is GSM. If it is on Verizon, it is CDMA. You must download 5.1.1. at this time.
Once that is downloaded, save it to your desktop. Open iTunes with your device connected. Go to the device menu and find Restore. Hold down ALT while clicking Restore, and choose the correct file (the one you just downloaded). Back up your phone first if you don't want to lose data.
If you have any more trouble, report back here with an error code (if possible), or simply a screenshot of the error message.

Sounds like you have a phone that was hacked to unlock it. Updating has re-locked it to the original carrier. ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. Contact them.

Back up your phone before, than skip the back up process when updating.

Mavericks (10.9.2) notes unable to update notes from iCloud

Hi There!
I am using mavericks, I found out that my notes in mavericks is unable to update any notes from iCloud since I upgrade to 10.9.2. Here I have tried out some of the method which I search from forum and Google.
1. I have tried to sign out then sign in again from iCloud account in mavericks but won't resolve my problem.
2. I have also tried to remove iCloud account then add them back but also won't work.
3. Created new user account the login my iCloud account but with same result come up.
There is something strange that I realized when I am trying out the above mentioned methods, which is to create new note from mavericks notes app and it will update to my iCloud panel and it is updating to my iPad or iPhone. the only problem is all my notes in iCloud are unable to update to my mavericks notes app. Calendar, Mail, Contacts, Reminder and others services are working fine but Notes.
Is there any suggestion?

I'm having the same issue with the 10.9.2 update. Tried signing out of the account, removing the account, repairding disk permissions, etc, and still can't get my iCloud notes to sync to the Notes application. The notes are on the iCloud website and sync correctly to my iPhone.

Unable to Update Collection from Tabular Form

I have built several Tabular Forms where I have updated the apex_collection with the data entered into the form. Then I loop thru the collection and update the database.
I now Copy a working form to create a new form using data from a different table. All I am doing is changing the underly apec_collection with a different select statement and give it a new collection name. The number of columns on the tabular form are the same as the working form.
Now I run the form and I get ORA-01403: no data found Error UNABLE to UPDATE ROWS
It is acting like it is not finding any data from the collection. But I put in the same selection critera for the update into a report below the tabular form and I see data just fine.
Here is the code I am using to update the collection when the SAVE button is pressed (Process on Submit before Calculations).

It looks like I may have found my problem.
There tabular form is limited by a where clause in the report to a subset of the collection. Making the collection match the same where clause seems to have fixed my problem.
Not clear on why that works like that but it looks like I may have it working.

Not from your phone, it will only delete the backup. You can always connect your phone to a charger and, while connected to wi-fi, initiate another backup by going to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup, and tapping Back Up Now at the bottom. Also, if you don't have your contacts backed up anywhere else, you can download the free app My Contacts Backup, which will back up your contacts as an email attachment. Send this email to yourself and, if necessary, you can open it on your phone later and tap the attachment to import your contacts back to your phone.

Unable to update iphone 4 to 5.0

I keep getting an error when I try to update Iphone 4 to new 5.0 version. Network timed out error. I've tried this on 3 different high speed networks, still can't update.

No, I tried reinstalling 5.0 in recovery mode, no difference. Restoring from backups, nothing worked, even not synching & starting as new. If you don't have applecare you will have to buy it to get a replacement, even if it is still under the "limited" warranty. I waited an hour and a half at a apple store waiting for a "genius" to see me, waste of time, I left. It worked fine before the upgrade and I have tp PAY for a new phone? Yes, $69 is cheaper than having to pay retail, it's the principal of it, I refuse. I'll upgrade to the 4s as I am stuck on a contract, the 4 is only 4 months old.

My daughter was given a iPhone 4 that was completely reset. It has 13GB of space but will not support certain apps without updating at least to IOS 6. I had to back up and sync with my PC and was able to connect and start downloading to IOS 7; however when the process was completed an error message was displayed stating it was unable to update the phone....epic fail! We are using wi-fi, I noticed that question asked in other inquires while searching for an answer. What do we need to do to at least update this phone to a version that will support Instagram app? I come across this time and time again. With no obvious pattern why this problem occurs.
Now, for example, I have a process with about 20 preferences, I can update 15 of them, 5 of them remain stubbornly at their default values.
Imagine wanting to test the process with different combinations of preference values... lots of joyful deployment ahead!

Unable to update iphone sw from 3.1 to latest

I'm trying to download the new iPhone software that but every time I try and do it, it just gets locked on 'backing up' my iphone and the little green bar moves about 3% in 3 hours.
Is this is a common error that other people have found? Is there a solution?

Update iTunes to 10. Then wait until next week when iOS 4.1 comes out. Cureent iOS, that is 4.0.2 is a "bag of hurt" on iPhone 3g. Don't update before next week.

Unable to update iphone 4

I've been trying to update my iphone 4 from 4.1 to 4.2. Everytime itunes finishes downloading and starts to process this message comes up:
"There was a problem downloading the software for the iphone. The network connection timed out.".
I've tried downloading the update on multible network connections so it's not the connection.
Does anyone know what the problem is?
