Unable to update ITunes - something to do with Bonjour Service

I have not been able to update iTunes. I get two messages. First, "Error occurred while installing the updates". If I follow the instruction to use the Tools menu and launch downloaded files manually, the installation stops with the message, "Bonjour Service failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services." Since mine is an administrator account, I do not know what additional privileges I need.

I have uninstalled McAfee completely to see if it was the problem. However, the installation stopped at the same place and I received the same error messages. If anyone has any ideas I would be grateful.

The Apple Mobile Device is a component of iTunes that communicates between your computer and your iPhone or iOS device. The error message you are seeing "verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services" has to do with the Windows operating system. It's possible that you are not logged in as the administrator for your Windows PC. Or, you may have antivirus software stopping the Apple Mobile Device from running.

Unable to update iTunes - missing iTunes64.msi

Unable to update iTunes - each time I get error message: "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." It cannot find the installation package "iTunes64.msi". Have tried various methods found on Apple Support to no avail. I think it might be something to do with uninstalling old versions of itunes - I can't seem to do this either, even using the Microsoft Fix it programme. I do not use a network. I use an external HD to save music files but with this plugged in the problem persists. Any help would be much appreciated! It's driving me mad!!

I am running iTunes 9.2.0.61 on Windows 7 Ultimate x64. For some time, I have been unable to update iTunes to the latest version beyond what I have, regardless of what the latest version is.
Using Apple Software Update, I get the following error during the update:
"Errors occurred while installing the updates. If the problem persists, choose Tools > Download Only and try installing manually."

I checked my Services console and Bonjour was started. I can also stop and start it without issue. I searched for these errors, but most of what I found was trouble getting the Bonjour service to start and as you can see, this is not my issue.
I have also tried to update iTunes with Bonjour stopped and disabled and with my Eset NOD32 Antivirus software disabled, but neither of these steps made any difference. I do not have a third-party firewall on my PC, but I am using Windows firewall. I have also tried disabling the Windows firewall, but this made no difference.
Any help would be appreciated.

No problems with my iMac or iOS devices. I thought I may have some corrupted files, so I deleted iTunes and attempted to download it. It sounds like you are unable to activate your phone with the SIM provided to you by your carrier. Try these steps in the following article to help you troubleshoot what it happening, named:

I am unable to update iTunes because I receive the message "iTunes has an invalid signature and will not be installed."

"+unable to delete older version of quick time" "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" "enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'Quick Time.msi'".
With those symptoms, download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from Microsoft:

Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install CleanUp"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any QuickTime entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another QuickTime install. Does it go through properly this time?

I select the county and select done the screen loops for the county information.
*Things I have tried:*
- Updated billing information via iTunes on the Mac (Updates successfully) - but will still prompt for updates on the iPhone.
-Restarted iPhone (same)
-Erased iPhone and activated as new without restoring from backup (same)
-Contact iPhone support (no other advice then what happened here the first time) the second attempt at support has resulted in a call with iPhone and iTunes Support.
I will post back my findings, but has anyone found a solution.

The only difference I noticed was that the card that kept looping was a visa check card, verse a credit card (mastercard). I am not sure if there is a problem within the iPhone application. I don't believe this to be an iTunes or App store problem because the account profile will accept the card information via a computer. This problem seems to be within the address verification process the iPhone/app store does only on the iPhone platform. Apple support and iTunes support seems to be clueless. My original post is the only way I've gotten it to work.

Apps are always tied to the ID that was used to purchase them originally. Did you try entering your old password and see if that works?
If you need to sign out of your old account go to Settings>Store>Tap on your ID and sign out. Sign in with the new one.
you can also access your ID in the featured tab of the App Store. Swipe to the bottom of the screen and you will find it there as well.

The last security update released for Tiger users was the 2009-005 update. The latest version of QuickTime is 7.6.4. The last version of iTunes that can run on Tiger is 9.2.1, because 10.0 only supports Mac OS X Leopard and later.
So, are you on version 9.2.1?
Was it Tiger or Leopard you had on the drive before?

It sounds like you are getting an error stating that the iTunes installer cannot be run on your computer. I would try downloading the 64 bit version of iTunes from here:
iTunes 11.1.3 for Windows (64-bit)

If issues persist when trying to install it, I would try running through the steps in the article named:
