Unable to update my job title in my contacts

I am unable to update my Job Title in the contact entry for myself. I can change other people's Job Title and I can change the other information on my contact entry, but I cannot change my Job Title. I can re-type and erase the text, but when I click "Done" it reverts back to the original entry. It never saves any of my changes to this field. Is there a step that I am missing?

Each application has the Apple ID used to download it stored inside it. This can’t be removed without deleting and redownloading it.

Manage Apple ID - unable to update my Apple ID address and contact details

I've recently moved address and wanted to update my Apple ID physical and shipping address, as well as my contact details. When I try to edit the existing Apple ID detail the form doesn't allow me to save the changes, and when I try and go back it advises that the changes have not been saved and asks if I want to discard them.
I am using IE9 on Windows 7 - is there a known issue with this feature on the Apple website?

If you still have those apps you will still get the update notifications. Have you deleted the apps associated with that ID?

Unable to update VAP2 via LSMW

There is an LSMW for VAP2 transaction which uses records from the flat file to update the data.
I am trying to update the Salutation/Title of the contact person via VAP2 transaction using records from the flat file. In VAP2 transaction salutation/title appears as drop down menu, these recrods appear correctly in the Read Data and Display Converted Data step of LSMW but when I try to to update the same data in the last step of LSMW(Run Batch Input Session) it does not update the data also the data that appears in these screens of VAP2 is not correct one i.e. it is not from the flat file that I am using.
I am running the LSMW in foreground and I am providing the partner number at each step of the LSMW.
Please suggest me what could have gone wrong.

Because you did a hard-reset already, I recommend the Nokia Software Recovery Tool because that tool makes sure you get all software/firmware components again, even the demo-stuff from mass storage. Company Name / Job Title Bug in Z10

On my Z10 if you enter a job title for a contact without a company name, the job title is displayed twice for the contact. For example, Bla Bla contact shows "Attorney at Law" and immediately below that is another line that says "Attorney at Law." I have experimented and it will duplicate any job title I entered unless there is a company name entered for the same contact. For example I updated Bla Bla with the job title of "Yo Mamma" and I got the same results.
I'm using a BlackBerry Z10 Model STL100-4 running 10.0.9.411 with Verizon.

Send notification to manager when attributes have been updated by user (Department, Job Title)

I would like to send a notification to a user's manager (\\Target\Manager) if the user updates their Department of Job Title. Does anyone have any idea how to do this without making sets for each department and
job title?

that is quite simple, just create a MPR that triggers a action workflow with a notification activity.
MPR should be request based
Requestor "All People"
Target Set "All People" (both targets before and after)
trigger on Modify attribute
Selected Attributes: Department and jobtitle.
Notification activity should send email to [//Target/Manager] then.

Titles and Trans unable to 'Update' ???

I am able to preview the titles and transitions that I would like. (both in the small window and the larger view panel) However, I am unable to 'update'. The button is actaully greyed out and I am un able to select it. However, the 'effects' options works great.
what am i doing incorrecly?

Thank you for your response. However, I am still having challenges. I do not see the 'T' that you are referencing. My screen is as follows:
Large view panel in top 3/4 of screen - along the bottom are the clips/timeline.
Just above that is a series of buttons for clips/photos/titles/trans/effect/idvd
when I select title i am provided with a panel that has the small preview window, speed control, below that is where I would select what i want the title to do...cartwheel, spin, shiver,..a lot of choices. next is my font / color selection.
and below that are two fields where I would type my title - it originally said
My Great Movie

there is no T.
Frustrating because I know I am trying too hard and it is gonna kill me when I finally see it.

Unable to maintain job title for employees

Hi friends
we getting employees data from R/3 HR .but i am trying to assign the job titles to employees in CRM systems through relationship category but here i am getting error "Maintenance is only possible via an external HR system".here if choose continues i am getting job title etc.. i can give input for job title but thing it is not saving. Could any one please suggest me how to do add the job titles.
whether it can be possible change in CRM or not.
If it is HR how could i add it.

Have you looked at OSS Note 312090? Maybe you can find something here. The titles in HR is stored in another table as the BP titles. They should be replicated using an R/3 adapter object or kept the same as the BP titles.
If nothing helps you could consider temporarily switch off the block for maintaining the employee in CRM. If I remember this is done by setting key PBPHR to OFF.

Service template problem - Unable to perform the job because one or more of the selected objects are locked by another job - ID 2606

I’ve finally managed to deploy my first guest cluster with a shared VHDX using a service template.
So, I now want to try and update my service template. However, whenever I try to do anything with it, in the services section, I receive the error:
Unable to perform the job because one or more of the selected objects are locked by another job. To find out which job is locking the object, in the jobs view, group by status, and find the running or cancelling job for the object. ID 2606
Well I tried that and there doesn’t seem to be a job locking the object. Both the cluster nodes appear to be up and running, and I can’t see a problem with it at all. I tried running the following query in SQL:
SELECT * FROM [VirtualManagerDB].[dbo].[tbl_VMM_Lock] where TaskID='Task_GUID'
but all this gives me is an error that says - conversion failed when converting from a character string to uniqueidentifier msg 8169, level 16, State 2, Line 1
I'm no SQL expert as you can probably tell, but I'd prefer not to deploy another service template in case this issue occurs again.
Can anyone help?

Job titles: training/elearning design vs graphic design/communications design

Hello everyone,
I realize this is not a typical 'Captivate' quiestion, and I've posed it to some networking groups on LinkedIn, etc., but I wanted to ask it to this niche community as well:
I started out 3 years ago as a Training Documentation Specialist with my current company, but my title and my description need to be updated as the position/role has expanded to include more graphic design and communication (intranet/internet) tasks in the past few years.
I'm just wondering if there are any other members that design training collateral for companies, either in print or via elearning, among other various graphic design and communications work?
So, by design, I mean this person may have influence on the the material but has a background in graphic design as opposed to instructional design.
If there are any members out there with similar roles, I'd like to gain your insight and review job titles and/or descriptions, if possible.

I think that you'll be just fine with the Retina display model - the 13" models, while upgradeable as far as RAM and SSD, don't have processor and graphics cards that are up to speed for photo and video editing. And more and more software (including Adobe Photoshop) is now 'Retina-ready'.
Yes, you're taking a chance on the screen IR - it has been a problem for some people but not for all. LG panels seem to have the more prevalent IR while some Samsung panels are said to have a 'tinting' problem. WIth any luck, you'll get a screen with no IR and no tints.
If you do get a 'bad' screen, you can always, as many people in the discussion you mention have done, just keep returning it until you get a 'perfect' screen.
Had I not purchased my non-Retina late 2011 model in March of this year, I might have been tempted to go down the Retina road. While I agree with you about having trepidation over purchasing a first-generation product, most of the 'issues' with the Retina display models have been 'fixed' with software updates.
I think that you made the right decision for your needs.

DataProvider unable to update records in table

as above, I have got this piece of code below.
What happen is I am unable to update the records in one of the dataprovider - "objectidsDataProvider" (used to keep track of no. of items in itemsDataProvider).
If I take away the objectidsDataProvider coding; I am able to update the itemsDataProvider.

Unable to update or remove UDF

Hello,
I am unable to update a value in udf after licking on 'New'. It shows the error message as Temp_ASCL followed by WTR1 and sometimes SEWSYS.This udf is created i service-- title.
There are no add ons running and there are no SP in the database. Please let me know how to update this?

Getting job title to print on labels?

I can't figure out how to get the person's job title to print when I do "copy mailing label" -- or also when just trying to print labels. Any ideas?

This error does not come from your procedure code, but from Forms itself. If you are in a database block, change something, and do a commit (either via a Forms key or in your own procedure), Forms commits the changes. For some reason this is not possible. You can see the database error via the Display Error key (often Shift-F1).
I see in the OP that this key is disabled. Change the on-error code then:

In the title you mention windows update, a windows update should not apply to an iPad because it won't run on your iPad.
