Unable to update parts of Adobe Design Premium CS4

I had to reinstall Adobe Design Premium CS4. I know that there are several updates for this software because I had to do this a few weeks ago and was able to update all the applications that needed updated. This time, I was only able to update Acrobat Pro using the Adobe Update Manager. I was able to download the updates for Photoshop CS4 32-bit and 64-bit, but was unable to update any other applications in the suite. It seems like the updates have disappeared from the Adobe.com servers. There were updates for every other version of the creative suites except CS4. I also checked the FTP site and nothing was there.
I need the updates. How can I go about updating if they aren't on the server. Please advise and thanks in advance.

I ran the cleaner app like you instructed me to do. I tried that and it still didn't work. I tried to install on a different computer. It still didn't work. I know for a fact that the updates for CS4 Design Premium are over 700Mb and there are updates available for Photoshop (32 and 64 bit),Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc... I have downloaded 323Mb for Adobe Services and Acrobat CS4. I have always been able to install the updates all at once.

I have been able to recreate the error three times on my end. This means the issue needs to be fixed on Adobe's end.

Design Premium CS4 stopped working: error 148:3

You have not provided any system information, so we can't advise specifically. This is a licensing error and the standard "cure" is to reinstall the software properly.

Is there a download available of Adobe Design Standard CS4?

Hi there,
I bought the Adobe Design Standard CS4 package a few years ago. Now I got a new MacBook Pro since a couple of days, but I can't find a downloadlink of de Design Standard CS Package on the website. Since I haven't got any DVD reader in my MacBook, I can't install the Adobe programs. Is there a downloadlink available for Adobe Design Standard CS4? I already tried to use my serial number in the Adobe Design Premium CS4 version, but that didn't work.

I bought the Adobe Design Standard CS4 package a few years ago.
I presume you bought the Mac version back then. If so your serial number will work OK on the new MacBook Pro.
If you got the Windows version then your serial number will not work on your Mac.

You have a permanent serial number from when you did this the first time and that is all that is required.

I too had the same issue and tried all the steps mentioned in the above document. But it failed. I contacted my IT guy who informed that there is no firewall enabled in the modem. I'm using a home pc.
Lately, I contacted your support team who performed the same steps again and did not resolve the issue. Finally one guy said do something called selective startup on my Windows 7. I'm uneasy with this. He said that it is a part of their troubleshooting steps and can enable them back. I said okay and did it which did not resolve this issue. At last he said to create a new admin account!!! I was not at all satisfied with this resolution but yes I did and it did work! But I'm greatly confused. What could have been the issue? I don't want to create a new account everytime I face this issue. So any possible reasons other than which are mentioned in the document?

Unable to install Creative Suite 5 Design Premium - Windows 7

The hard drive on my laptop is failing. I was able to actually uninstall Adobe’s Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium.

It says "display requirements not met", which means your screen resolution is either actually too small or misconfigured in such a way that the installer can't detect its settings...

Multiple "FAILED UPDATES" warnings for CS5 Design Premium

I am not good at forums and hope this is the right place. If not, please someone guide me because I need help.
I have gotten a failed update warning many times on my Win7 Ultimate machine after trying to do a maintenance update on my CS5 Design Premium. Does anyone know what to do? With all due respect I was angered to learn from Prakesh via chat support that I had to turn to the forums for help with a software update issue!! I thought forums were for learning how to use features of the software, not what I would consider a software technical issue. Is this common with ADOBE?
I also have CS6 Production Premium but haven't encountered any update issues with it.......yet.
ANY help would be greatly appreciated. I spent THOUSANDS of dollars on these 2 packages and can't believe I can't make a call to ADOBE!
