Unable to update to OS 4.1 from OS 3.1.3.

Hi,
I have wasted my whole day trying to update my Iphone 3G to OS 4.1.
When iTunes displays backing up it goes on and on, waited for 3 hours but its still the same the green bar does not proceeds. Please help im frustated with it now. I have 8 gb and had deleted all my Photos & Music before updating. have 6 gb free space.

In iTunes go to Edit/Preferences. Click on the Devices tab. Is there a backup listed in the box near the top of the tab? If there is click on it and click the Delete button. If there are NO backups or you successfully deleted a backup connect the phone, right click on it in the left panel and choose Backup. Wait for it to finish. It can take a very long time if you have never done a backup (12 hours is not impossible).
If you get an error post the error message so we can diagnose it.

The reference is to RAM. You need at least 2 GBs of memory installed.

When you select update, verify that it is showing your correct Apple ID, perhaps you have an app that was downloaded with a different ID, all apps are always associated with the ID that first downloaded them.

Unable to update IOS 4.3.2 from IOS 4.3

Unable to update IPhone 4 version 4.3 to version 4.3.2 from itunes.
When I'm plug IPhone to PC, ITunes notification me whether want to update software.
I clicked 'Download and Update' option and it take 1~2 hours to download but when downloaded finish, it show error that unable to update.
When I try to replug in, it asked to redownload the update.
Can I know solution about it?

Try to download the firmware first and upgrade later as a second step.

Every time i got to update the music library onto the IPOD it says "The ipod cannot be updated. The disk could not be read from or written to." I have the newest version of itunes installed and i believe the ipod is up to date. The ipod is recognized in itunes and as a removable drive in my computer. I read somewhere that said reinstalling the drivers for the ipod might help fix it but as i recieved it used, I don't have the disk that comes with the ipod... any suggestions?

The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

I just recently installed Lightroom 5 from my new Creative Cloud account. While accessing for the first time, it asks me to upgrade the lr4 catalog to lr5. Everytime I run the process, I eceive the following message below.
I tried optimizing the lr4 catalog, but that diddn't work. I saw another post saying to try upgrading the lr4 backup catalog, but that didn't work also.
Any suggestions? Please help since I a newer user to Lightroom.

Make sure this checkbox is checked in the System/Sharing preference pane:
If it is, uncheck it and then recheck and try ordering again.

What do you mean by 'refusing from the system', if you are getting an error message then what does it say ?
For a credit card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are. If it is and if you are getting a 'declined' message then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
If when trying to download you are getting a message about a 'problem with a previous purchase' then that implies that iTunes wasn't able to collect the money for your last purchase. Can you locate the iTunes Library.itl file on the old drive? Ideally you would have simply copied over the entire iTunes folder structure from <User's Music> on the old computer into <User's Music> on the new one to transfer the library will all playlists, ratings, play counts etc. intact.

Have you tied connecting to another network?

Unable to Update Collection from Tabular Form

I have built several Tabular Forms where I have updated the apex_collection with the data entered into the form. Then I loop thru the collection and update the database.
I now Copy a working form to create a new form using data from a different table. All I am doing is changing the underly apec_collection with a different select statement and give it a new collection name. The number of columns on the tabular form are the same as the working form.
Now I run the form and I get ORA-01403: no data found Error UNABLE to UPDATE ROWS
It is acting like it is not finding any data from the collection. But I put in the same selection critera for the update into a report below the tabular form and I see data just fine.
Here is the code I am using to update the collection when the SAVE button is pressed (Process on Submit before Calculations).

It looks like I may have found my problem.
There tabular form is limited by a where clause in the report to a subset of the collection. Making the collection match the same where clause seems to have fixed my problem.
Not clear on why that works like that but it looks like I may have it working.

I have searched these discussion rooms and am unable to find an answer that has worked for me.
My current situtation:
upgraded from 3gs to a WHITE IPHONE4 yesterday.
I have not jailbroken it.
I have updated itunes to 10.2.2 (current version)
I have updated all software on my computer
My firewall is disabled.
I have tried to restart my computer....
There are no other usbs running
I am connected to the internet
I even closed all programs
I am using a MacBook (10.6.7)
I STILL AM UNABLE TO UPDATE FROM 4.3.1 to 4.3.3
Please... help me... what am I doing wrong?

firmware and ispw files were all okay
Apparently the hosts file had that ##.apple.com address
Had to delete that... it wouldn't let me save changes...
to do that... had to download text wrangler... T_T
