Unable to upgrade Acrobat v6.0.0 to 7.1.0

Question

Hi,
I'm trying to update Adobe Acrobat v6.0.0 to 7.1.0 without success. I get the following error if i log the installation:

I try this on Acrobat 7.0.0 and i dont have any problem i can install this path without problems.

Running with:
Windows 2000 Pro
Windows Installer 3.01
has anybody a idea what the problem is.

Hi Bernd,
this is what adobe says for this path:
"This update can be applied to any version of Acrobat Professional previous to version 7.1.0. To determine which version of Acrobat you have currently installed, choose Help > About Acrobat. The version number appears in the upper left corner below the Acrobat logo."
