Unable to Upgrade App After Changing Billing Address

Recently I have moved from USA to INDIA. Hence, I changed my billing address and updated credit card information associated with my apple id.
After that I am unable to get free upgrade for apps that I had purchased with my US credit card.
Can someone please help me with this issue?

I too have the same problem: I changed my contact email. I was forcefully logged out by Azure. After logging back in it said it could not find my subscription and I no longer have any benefits. The support phone number Azure pointed me to pointed me to
this forum. How awesome to see the forum points me right back to online help that pointed me to the call center that pointed me here.

    Recently, I changed my Apple ID from my Yahoo! Email to MobileMe. Now every time I try to update my Apps in iTunes or the Mac App Store, I can't update the ones that I bought when I used my Yahoo! Email address. I can still download the updates if I sign in with my Yahoo! account, but that gets annoying.

    To answer you Oh yes I waited.... in fact almost 3 hours and it should not take that long..... I actually ended up restoring it and starting all over again. Seemed to work! We will see....

    How could I get app updates without change country back to origional country where I purchased app.?
    I have purchased lots apps on 2 country by same AppleID.
    It does not make sense to change the country setting.
    Due to in some country, iTunes online store only offer music/movies but NO TV show.
    So I change registered country of my AppleID to US store.
    Now I could purchased HD/1080p movies/TV shows, but cannot get app updates on iTunes which I purchased on pervious country.

    You must be within the Country with a Valid Billing Address and Credit Card for that Country to use the iTunes Store of that Country...

    Before you change the country, you might want to note the following:
    1) If you have store credit, you must use the credit before you can change countries.
    2) You will need to download all purchased content. In addition, rented items must be past their 30-day expiration. For more information on rentals, please see:

    3) You must provide a payment method, such as a credit or debit card associated with a valid billing address in the new country. An iTunes Store Gift Card issued in the new country is also an acceptable payment method.
    4) After you change countries, you will no longer receive application update notifications in iTunes for the apps you purchased in your original country. However, you'll still receive update notifications on your iOS device for any applications installed on it.
    5) If you have an iTunes Match subscription, you can't change countries until the subscription has expired.
    6) If you have purchased a Season Pass, you cannot change the country associated with your account until that season is done airing and the last episode of the season has been added to the iTunes Store.
    7) If you have been using iTunes in the Cloud to download past purchases from your Purchased page, these purchases will no longer appear when you change the country.
    That said, you can change the country for your account using a computer using these steps:
    1) Sign in to the iTunes Store.
    2) From the Store menu, select View My Apple ID.
    3) Sign in with your Apple ID.
    4) Click Change Country or Region.
    5) Choose your new country from the menu, and click Change.

    I bought my Iphone 4s in Canada, Now I'm back to Thailand. I would like to change billing address to my address in Thailand but I cant change it. i dont know how to do. I still have $0.55 credit in my account. that's not enough to spend any application and doesnt have redeem card in Thailand.

  • N8 Ovi Store unable to install app after downloade...

    Hi all,
    Ovi Store in my N8 unable to install app after downloaded. App are succefully downloaded but hang when start installing, i follow the prompt instruction in N8, which is click Smart Installer but prompt same installation process box & the box disappears after that without a successful installation.
    App face above problem include Lyrics, Youtube Downloader, Different Tack.
    My Nokia N8 firmware details :
    Release              : PR1.1
    Software Version : 013.016
    Product Code      : 059D1F9
    Ovi Store version  : 2.06.00042
    I'm not sure app at above are Qt app or not. Is it current firmware PR1.1 in N8 doesn't support Qt app yet? Anyboby has idea what's wrong for the Ovi Store?

    It can be solved by 5 steps :
    1. Close Ovi Store and uninstall app using Application Manager.
    2. Clear your browser cache data (Nokia browser>Options>Clear privacy data>All).
    3. Go to file manager to clear installed app file (Menu>Application>Office>File Manager>Options>Find>Select Drive C or E depends where you install the app>Root folder>Type app name you want to remove>Delete founded file).
    4. Restart your phone.
    5. Open Ovi Store and install the app again.

    Hello,
    I purchased my iphone4 when I was working in Dubai. 3 weeks back I decided to move back to my home back in India. Having resently got my credit card I decided to update my billing information. To my surprise it shows that I have $1.5 pending ! The systems asked me to enter my old Credit card details ( card I once owned in Dubai). I am not able to change my address nor am I am able to change my credit card details till this is sorted.
    Well I have left Dubai (UAE) for good. Credit card I have once have been cancelled. I will be more the happy to my any dues (if any)  from my Current Indian card, if I am allowed to change my account details.
    If not I will be stuck and will not be able to purchase any new apps or upgrade the same. Please help me

  • Unable to download apps after purchase-in-app

    I've been trying to download apps but its unable after i purchased lives in "two dots" app. Then i couldnt able to download any apps because appstore sent me the error message abt the billing. Eventhough i tried and tried to use the same billing method and address (like the last time i used) but it was decliend though my bank account still have balance.  Then i try to use another account to download still cannot and it pop up with  unable to download app at thiis time message again!
    Further  more, i found support help and answered in Apple website not work for me. And it ve been nearly a month since this problem happens. thanks  its ip5s.

    You're either going to have to enter another payment method or contact Apple Support to get this resolved.

    I have been unable to update apps on my iPhone since downloading iTunes 10.5.
    I have an established connection in iTunes to my account and can download apps but when I when I click on "# Updates Available" I am asked to sign in again and then receive a message that the iTunes Store is unavailable and to try again later.
    All system software is up to date and I have update my iOS to 5. I am able to connect to the store via my iPhone and update there but do not understand why I can't view the updates on my Mac.
    Please help

    Please test after each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes. Keep in mind that no one here represents Apple or can help with customer-service issues.
    Step 1
    A purchased app can only be updated by signing in to the App Store with the same Apple ID that was originally used to buy it. There's no way around that limitation, which also applies to free apps. If you can't sign in with the buyer's ID, delete the app and reinstall it. You'll have to pay for it again, if applicable.
    Step 2
    If you get the alert when trying to update a bundled iLife app, select the Purchases page in the App Store and locate the app in your purchase history. If there's a button marked ACCEPT on the right, click it.
    If you have a used Mac, the bundled apps were linked to the original owner's Apple ID and can't be transferred to you. Reportedly, customer service has issued redemption codes to some second owners who asked, but it's not guaranteed.
    Step 3
    If you're trying to update iLife or iWork apps that were installed from a purchased DVD, or if you have a refurbished Mac bought directly from Apple, contact App Store customer service for a redemption code. You may be asked for the part number of the DVD.
    Step 4
    From the App Store menu bar, select
              Store ▹ View My Account
    Enter your Apple ID password at the prompt. At the lower right corner of the window that opens, click the Reset button. Close the window.
    Step 5
    According to a report, the error can result from changing the language setting of your Apple ID account. I can't confirm.

    Four days ago, I contacted customer support about changing my billing address in Skype Manager. I am unable to change my billing address in Skype Manager. When I click edit on the billing address, the registration address shows up instead and is uneditable. I contacted customer service three times since then, and Customer Service told me that the Specialized team would contact me within twenty-four hours. I have never heard from the Specialized team. Since the method of contacting customer service results in broken promises from Skype, is there an alternative method to resolve my problems or is there a way to change my billing address?

    Did you manage to resolve the problem? I went to Skype live chat support. She made it work: "I requested to enable the edit button on the account". 
    So, it seems like you have to request that the edit button is made life.

    I recently changed the the region of my Apple ID and now none of the previously purchased apps are showing up in Purchased info even if I delete and download them again. Before I changed the region I downloaded the free app called Constellation on my iPad, but upgraded it to Pro after changing region. Now when I installed it to my iPhone, it doesn't have the Pro license and asks me to buy it again.

    Let’s face it – on a scale of zero to tedious, moving house would have to score a perfect ten!
    If you’re anything like me, after hastily packing up your (way too many) belongings in pre-categorised boxes, cancelling the paper, organising removalists and then falling in a heap, the last thing you feel like doing is changing your billing address with your Service Provider...
    I mean even once you arrive at your new place, usually you’re way too busy living in your little fortress of unpacked boxes...You may even start to wonder if ‘relocation denial’ is some kind of real and diagnosable condition (!)
    So, let me make updating your billing address with Telstra that little bit more straightforward.  
     ·         Firstly, you’ll just need to ensure you are registered for My Account   
           If you aren’t already signed up, you can do so here.
     ·         Once registered, you can then login with your Username and Password:
     ·         When you have entered your Main Details screen, hover over the My Account tab (top centre menu,
           shaded light blue) and then click on Billing, which is the second option down.
     ·         You will then see a menu on the left hand side of your screen, with an option to Update Billing   
           Address about 2/3 down the list.
     ·         Click on this link and then just simply overwrite your old address details with your new address and hit
           NEXT. Once you’ve confirmed the details are correct, just hit SUBMIT.
    Snap. It’s done – your next invoice will be sent to your new address!! If not, let us know and we'll close the loop 
    THE FINE PRINT...Please just note that if you are amending your details 1-2 days before your next invoice is due to be sent, the change may not take effect until your following invoice. Likewise, if your current invoice was issued a week or so beforehand and is still yet to be received in the post, you may still need to retrieve it from your old address, or through Mail forwarding.
    So that’s pretty much it from me...All that’s left now is to wish you good luck with your new neighbours...oh and also, you might eventually need to unpack those boxes!

    When clicking on update my billing adress it redirects you to a page that says "You could not be logged in to Online Billing. 
    There may be a temporary problem, or part of the system may be unavailable due to regular maintenance. Please try again later. " 
    this hs been constant the last 3 days. any advice would be great
