Unable to upgrade SGD 4.5 to the latest version.

Hello,
I'm here at a customer of mine and i have the following problem.
The client has Sun SGD 4.5 Build 20090428230511
The client want's to upgrade to the latest version (5.1) due to compatibility problems with modern browsers.
SGD is running on a Suse Linux Enterprise Server 10 SP4 and is 64 Bit.
I was planning in upgrading from 4.5 -> 4.6 -> 4.7 -> 5.0 -> 5.1
When I want to install to version 4.6 I have to use the Yum command when i start the following command :
yum tta-4.62-913.i386.rpm
It gives an error that it cannot find Yum. I have tried to install yum with Yast2 but it can't find it.
Is there an other solution to upgrade SGD to the latest version?

I've been using Acrobat Pro XI from last one month. Recently Adobe introduced a patch release of 11.0.05 for Acrobat XI. When I try to install this upgrade, am getting stuck at the following screen:
Am not able to find this file on my system, with the result I have to cancel the upgrade.

The latest is 11.0.06. Normally the updates have to be installed in order, but this one can be installed over the original install (the web site will tell you). When you cannot update from the Help menu, then go to http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows, download the appropriae updates, and install them. It is a good idea when doing the updates to be logged in as the admin. and have anti-virus disabled.

10.6.8 update is the latest version of Snow Leopard. To check if you are running that, go to the Apple Menu>About this Mac and it should tell you.
If you want to upgrade to the latest version of OS X (Mavericks, 10.9.1 - free) you can select the App Store from the Apple menu and download it.
However, ensure your Mac meets the tech specs: https://www.apple.com/osx/specs/ and be aware that although the specs say 2gb or RAM is required, real-world use seems to indicate that 4gb is a realistic minimum.
Also many older apps will not longer work in Mavericks and PowerPC apps will not run because Rosetta, which enabled the ability, is no longer supported/available.

The Mavericks installer is a 5.3gb download - you may want to make a copy of it before running it - could save another large download in the future if you ever needed to re-install.

This appears to be a bug in Mozilla Firefox but no one has yet filed a report in [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org Bugzilla].
If you would be so kind to give more details, I will help you and the others to file a bug report so engineers can take a look at it.

Cisco 1141N AP upgrading from 12.4 to the latest version 12.x

I purchased the 1141n AP. Last year when in May, I called Cisco support for help. He told me it, the 1141n would not works alone, it needs the controller. However, He also stated that the new version of IOS will be working as the access point alone.
So I have it, donwload the latest software c1140-k9w7-tar.124-21a.JY.tar from Cisco.com.
Is this the correct version for 1141N and can it work as stand alone now, or acting as the extended WDS extended from the other AP like Apple Extreme.?

Did you buy a 1141LAP or 1141AP? If you bought an LAP, you are going to have to transfer that IOS image you downloaded to your 1141 using xmodem, TFTP, or borrow your buddy's controller, associate your lwap to it, and revert it to IOS. I don't recall how to do it using xmodem (it's a pain and takes forever anyway), but here's the documentation of how to do it using a TFTP server:

If you bought a 1141AP, you're in luck! Just plug that bad boy into your router, grab the ip, navigate to the http server of it using that ip, and configure away using the web gui! From there, you can even upgrade to the latest version of IOS very easily!

I just bought my first iPhone (the 6), and I want to automatically transfer photos from my (and my wife's) iPhone 6, to iPhoto. I am using iPhoto '09 and I believe I have to upgrade it to the latest version to make that happen. I went to the App store to upgrade, but it wants to charge me $14.99. I thought we didn't have to pay for upgrades any longer if we owned a legit previous version (came pre-installed when I bought my Mac in 2009. Can anyone shed any light on this? Since Yahoo is web based email, the compatbility issue is on the Yahoo side, not Apple.
You can access your Yahoo account without having to use Safari.
Open the Mac Mail app. From the menu bar click Mail > Preferences then select the Accounts tab then the Account Information tab.
Click + to add your Yahoo account.

Why am I unable to log in to 'Formspring' with the latest version of Firefox? I have turned off all ad blockers. Other browsers are fine.

The website 'Formspring.me' loads, but then when I click 'log in' I find the website to be completely unresponsive. Clicking 'Log in with Facebook' also fails, and this has worked up until now..

Hi, thanks for your reply :). I've actually just solved the problem - it was a AVG Safe Search!
I went to C:\Program Files\AVG then fould the 'FireFox' folder and deleted it. When I restarted firefox then add-on was gone and the problem solved.

I was looking in the shop and it only gives the option to upgrade from 9 on. We have 13 Acrobat 8 licenses that we would like to upgrade if possible. Any suggestions?

I do not have the Feedback box anymore. In the past when this happened it was because I didn't have the latest Beta, but today when I tried to download the latest I was told I already have it and am using it.

My fairly iMac G5 with Leopard 10.5.8 couldn't support i'Life 11 which needs a Intel chip.

Unfortunately, I can't see that Apple make earlier versions of iLife available from the Support > Downloads section of their website. You will have to see if there are earlier versions of iLife available on eBay or Amazon. FWIW, iLife 2006 works fine on my G5, and possibly later versions too.

Over the past couple of months I have been reading horror stories of people who went from iTunes 6.- to 7 and after upgrading and proceeding to get the latest version of firmware for iPod their iPod has become a paperweight. Scrambled displays, backward text, etc. I am on a Mac system and have a 30 gig 5th generation iPod and have put off upgrading because I am afraid of losing my iPod. Can somebody tell me if it is safe to upgrade and if all the bugs have been ironed out? Secondly, can somebody tell me if it is possible to get the latest iPod firmware as a downloadable stand-alone installer? I still have a dial-up connection and cannot wait hours and tie up my line upgrading my iPod through iTunes. I would prefer to download the upgrades on a machine with a high-speed connection and burn them to CD and then install on my machine from that CD. Can anyone tell me if this is possible? You need to update iTunes on your computer (not the iPad) to the latest version in order to then update the iPad to iOS 5.1.1 (iOS 6 isn't released until the Autumn) - you can check if you are up-to-date (which will prompt you to update if you aren't) via, on a PC, 'Help > Check For Updates', and on a Mac 'iTunes > Check For Updates'
When you have that installed, connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Transfer Purchases (you may also want to copy photos off the iPad as well) and then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand side of iTunes and selecting 'Backup'. You may also want to copy off the iPad any important documents, notes, files etc e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case.
You can then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand side of iTunes, and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button.

Unable to make changes after upgrading to the latest version.

I upgraded to the latest version (6) and I am still able to upload to my ftp but no changes actually take place on my site www.professional-liar.com

I still haven't been able to resolve this issue. Using filezilla didn't
work either. Filezilla accepted all the changes, but no changes on the
actual site.
I even tried to uninstall muse and reinstall and rebuild the site with a
new file, but when I tried to upload a test page that did not work either.
Please help.
