Unable to upload Gl account data
Hi all,
When Uploading the GL account data , T-code fs00, i am able to upload the darta in Client 800.
But same data i am unable to pload into client 200. Both the clients are in different Systems.
I am getting Info message like " the value which i am trying to Upload is not allowed."
This i am getting for HBKID & HKTID fiekds.
Why it is so ?

This s real time server or Demo server. Some time demo server npt support all.
U check properly in Gl account details.
U go to fb60 and upload u manually.

This BAPI does not allow to create a new customer from scratch but only to copy an existing customer to a new one and change its address data.
The reference customer has to be provided using IMPORTING parameter PI_COPYREFERENCE. See also the BAPI documentation for more details.
The BAPI does the same like transaction XD01 with Reference.

I keep trying to purchase something in the iTunes Store but it comes up with "Your account is temporarily unavailable" "Store unable to access my account info" But I have checked my account info and everything is up to date.
I have some money from a card still on my account that I would like to use.This has been an issue with some users for close to 24 hours now. I've been getting the error for the last 5 or so hours myself.
Having problems is understandable, it happens. and if this is related to the iCloud hack reported yesterday it is good to know Apple is trying to fix the issue.
But it sure would be nice if there was an official statement from Apple concerning this. -
Lsmw for uploading GL Accounts Master data
Hi SAP Gurus
I am Uploading GL Accts Master data using LSMW in the following procedure:
1) Upload GL Accounts only, COA Level - B/S : FSP0
2) Upload GL Accounts only, COA Level - P&L : FSP0
Successfull in above 2.
How should I;
Upload GL Accounts on Company Code Level: FSS0
- While recording, should I include the GL Account No. field.
I tried it but the cc segment is not updated for GL accounts already created in FSP0.
Please help.

What we think is the following:
Create a GTC resource, with flat file reconciliation and spml provisioning.
Edit the provisioning process to get it work disconnected, based on http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E27559_01/admin.1112/e27149/disconn_resources.htm#CHDDGGHD, we need to modify all SPML sending process tasks to be manual.
Create a disconnected resource from this resource in a sandbox.
In this case we do not need to develop custom codes, we only need to modify the provisioning process to be manual.

The best way is to use OIM bulk load utility.
Using the Bulk Load Utility - 11g Release 2 (11.1.2) --> Loading Account Data
This is very easy and smooth.

XLS upload via HSODBC. Unable to upload numeric (float) fields

I wrote a program unit with Oracle Forms Builder 10g to upload and read an Excel sheet.
I created a HSODBC Data link to my DB, and used Excel 2003 to edit the XLS file to upload, and WEBUTIL_FILE_TRANSFER.CLIENT_TO_AS(client_dir_file,'\\server\dir\myfile.xls') to upload.
My DBLink works and Im able to upload the file. But it seems oracle is unable to upload some fields containing numeric (float) values.
running DESCRIBE Sheet1$@hsodbc; I got this table structure
UPLOAD_DATE DATE
NUMBER VARCHAR2(32512 CHAR)
CODE VARCHAR2(32512 CHAR)
DESCR VARCHAR2(32512 CHAR)
SIMILARS FLOAT(49)
WIDTH VARCHAR2(32512 CHAR)

ITEMS FLOAT(49)
fields SIMILARS, WIDTH, HEIGHT, HIGH, ITEMS contain numeric values in float format (ex: 1,00000). When I run
SELECT * FROM SHEET1$@HSODBC
I get that WIDTH, HEIGHT, HIGH columns are EMPTY (contain NULL values), while SIMILARS and ITEMS contains not null values.
I am sure that the \\server\dir\myfile.xls contains not null values for WIDTH, HEIGHT, HIGH fields! I tried to change cells format before upload, setting them to FLOAT, but I got no results!
Please help me, how can I do to change cell format in order to obtain a correct upload?E.C.
there is a mistake in the subject. As I said in my thread, the upload works and the uploaded file contains all values. My problem is that I am "unable to READ" the numeric values stored in VARCHAR2 fields. -

Any standard program which will upload the financial data(trail balance) into sap fi.
The scenario is that there are few company codes which is not in sap and we need to upload their financial data in sap like trail balance, I need to upload this company code data in sap fi, please suggest some standard program which uploads this data.

Standard programs are there, but those dont fit to your requirement.
e.g. Based on the account type(D, K, S) there are different different fields should be filled up.
If it is Vendor invoice, you have to capture Inv.no., text, leacy subledger number if required.
All these fields are not required for GL data upload.
Better create 3 LSMW'S for GL, Vedor & Customers.

I had updated the default value of the managed metadata field using the below code.
After that, the library worked well without any issue, you can use the below code to check whether it works.

Unable to upload iPhoto book to print from iPad
I have been unable to upload my iPhoto book to print it from my iPad...
It will go through the process of requesting apple ID password --> verifying my credit card --> then will say "placing order. uploading project" and look like it is uploading (ie blue bar showing progress) and sometimes this is progressing for hours, but then the app will crash and close down.
Things I've tried/confirmed so far: I have the up to date versions of iOS and iPhoto, I have it connected to wi-fi and plugged in, I have closed down all other apps on the iPad
Has anyone else had this issue? Any solutions?
Is there a way to upload it from my computer instead? -- I have a PC but have been unable to find the 'book' or photos in iTunes or elsewhere on the computer to even try this...

You have covered most issues, but you do not mention how much free memory you are having on your iPad. Submitting a book for printing need plenty of free memory on your iPad, about the same amount as the combined size of your photos. Could it be, that you are running out of memory?
Another reason might be an unprintable, corrupted photo in your book.

To order a photo book from Apple you need an Apple computer or an iOS device.

Unable to upload multiple files
In MOSS, I am unable to upload multiple files from the Site Actions | Manage Content and Structure | New | Item menu. I have tried adding Word documents and image files (JPEG, GIFS) to no avail into the \images or \document folders. Even if I try just one file, three or five, the menu never initiates or progresses. It just sits. If I cancel, the menu returns immediately. I have tried to change security settings with no success. Trying to upload multiple files on different MOSS installations also fails. If this is related to a Web Dev settings, can you tell me exactly where the setting is? Thanks for your insight. cm
Believe it or not, I have found a solution after about 4hrs of fiddling around. This appears to be a bug in Sharepoint 2007. There is a work around that I have discovered! Follow the steps below and let me know if this works for you. It has worked for me and other people so far.
The steps are as follows:
1) Browse to your website at http://<servername>/_layouts/settings.aspx; you will need to login by providing a service account name & password or your site collection administrator account & password.
2) Once you login, click on 'Site Actions' menu.
3) Then, click on 'Manage Site Content and Structure'.
4) Click on any document library you want to upload or add files into. If you do not see the 'Upload' menu from the dropdown main menu between the 'New' and 'Actions' menu then you have this bug as well showing up on your server. Don't give up yet, there is a solution. Keep going through these steps!
5) Click on 'New' and select 'Item'.
6) You should now see the Upload Document page; under the input browse field there should be a link for 'Upload Multiple Files...', if you do not see this you will need to install either Office 2003 or Office 2007. If you do see it, click on it.
7) Now, you should see the multiple upload page that allows you to select multiple files. If you try to select one or several and click on the OK button, nothing will happen. No need to worry! There is a work around. Just keep reading to the next step.
8) On the hierarchy navigation you will have links something like this:
WebSiteName > Folder1 > Folder2
9) Click on the "Document Library" folder name; in our case it was Folder1. Basically its the folder you ended up in in step #4.
10) Now, did you notice anyting in your menu change? Now you should be able to see the Upload menu option between the 'New' and 'Actions' menu that you could not see in step #4.
11) Click on the 'Upload' menu and select 'Upload Multiple Documents'
12) Now, you will be back at the Upload document page where you were in step #7
13) Select one file or many and then click OK. Now it works!!! You should get an IE popup asking you that your about to upload files to your site, Click OK.
VOILA!!!
Don't ask me why, I do not know why this happens but it works. -
I am unable to upload any photos to photo sharing sites?
For the last two days I have been unable to upload any photos regardless of size to a professional photo sharing website. I have tried everything possible such as disabling my Norton services, emptying the DNS cache, clearing all browers histories and all cookies. I've tried creating new accounts on the website and nothing has worked. I then tried to upload photos to another site and when the photo started to load it said that I lost internet connection yet I didn't. I am able to use my daughter's dell and can upload photos just fine on any site with her computer. I did a live chat with Norton and they ran me through a series of things as well and said it is something with my mac. Does anyone have any suggestions???? I'm at a complete loss and beyond frustrated with this entire experience.
Hi, Thank you so much for the info.... I really do appreciate it. We had the laptop updated by way of a system upgrade with RAM and an additional SSD drive. Once reconfigured all programs were reinstalled but Iphoto is not among them. Iphoto was on the laptop when purchased so we have no additional discs. Before the laptop was updated we backed the photos up to an extrenal hard drive so we have them, but cant access them. Could I purchase Iphoto 8 stll? Would this work? We would also require an external CD drive as we no longer have the disc drive in the laptop (I think the extra new bits took over). You may have noticed I have very limited knowledge on computers so any help dispite how simple it may sound to some would help me greatly. I just want all my photos back .... Thanks inadvance... I used to upload any picture to Fbook which was in my Iphoto. Now, I can only upload pictures from IPhoto which are a week old. I'm unable to upload any recent pics from Iphoto to FBook - like pics I uploaded to I photo today. They are in IPhoto, but once I'm on FB, and want to upload, they aren't available to choose. Help? the booting and walking away and then attempting to browse and clean method is what i've been trying to do. it won't let me drag and drop and just freezes up and goes to sleep after 2 minutes. it's a never ending battle with very few results. which is why i questioned the method of just restoring the hd from a time machine backup.
do you think restoring the hd from time machine will resolve the issue with all pics on the desktop? and everything will be as it was from the date i restore it from? sorry, as you can tell, i'm not overly computer savvy.
i have a really old desktop mac...i can try connecting the two...how does one boot a mac in 'target mode'?
as for the iphoto cleaning and organizing issue...that is what i was trying to accomplish with importing them to a folder. was going to browse and clean from there...but somehow imported to desktop which is what's complicating everything. once i get them off the desktop i can work on the iphoto issue...which as i mentioned...i didn't take 45,000 pics...i've just taken about 4,500 over the last few years, and they are being duplicated in iphoto. this was my attempt to clean it out entirely and start over. it will basically be a lot of deleting.
one problem, seems to lead me to more...which is just my luck. :-)

The recon account is assigned to the Vendor master.
Hence whenever you are posting any value into the vendor, the same will automatically flow into the recon account.
The same holds good even when you are uploading data.
Hence to conclude-
Make sure a recon account is maintained in your master data.
Upload the party' and the recon account is updated automatically.
