Unable to use all features
I recently had problems with my iMovie so I reset it by dragging the plist file out of it's folder, thus making iMovie create another. However, although it seems to run perfectly fine, I cannot use all of the features that should be available. For example, if i take a still from iPhoto and drag it over a clip the only options that appear are 'replace' and 'insert' whereas before there were features such as 'green screen' and 'cutaway'. Any idea what's wrong and how I can fix it?

HAHA you have no idea what i just went through trying to 'fix' this problem xDD thanks

As described above.
I do not own neither a Mac nor an iOS devices. May I still be able to use all features of Time Capsule, including remote access over the internet? You will have setup issues.. as the latest AC model requires a Mac or iOS device.. eventually apple will release a windows version of the utility.. and the current one does partly work but Apple seem in no hurry.
You can find a Mac or iPad equipped friend to do the setup.. once setup the Windows computer can use it.
BUTT you cannot access it from remote..
Not with windows. You need BTMM and iCloud account. AFAIK even with those you cannot reach the TC.
You can do it manually.. using a vpn. Buy a proper vpn router and use a vpn client on the windows computer.. the TC would be in bridge to the network..
Apple really did not make this for windows.. and SMB access is only provided on LAN access not WAN. -
When I go to my Juno on the web through Firefox, I am unable to use the tool features such as:
Font size / Color
Bolding
Italics
Bullets
Highlighting
just to name a few. Yet when I bring it up through Internet Explorer these features work, plus the way Firefox reads my Juno the tabs are distorted (the page is not formatted correctly, I contacted Juno they said I should contact my modem company AT& T they said no so you are my last resort.. Please help resolve my issue, THANK YOU in advance for assisting with this matter. It is up to Juno to enable Midas, the Rich Text Editor which is built into Firefox, with one little line of code on every web page that has RTE for IE. There's nothing that you can do to turn that feature on your self, it has to be coded on each web page that has Rich Text Editing.
http://www.mozilla.org/editor/midas-spec.html <br />
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Midas
Their ignorance probably lies with their staff programmers only knowing how to do it for IE ''(their training and certificates are probably from the Microsoft cabal)'', and not realizing that Gecko and WebKit apps each have their own Rich Text Editor's, which require their own small line of code to enable those Editor's. -
Unable to use 'copy' feature with registered version of quicktime pro.
Hi.
I have a registered version of Quicktime pro (7.1.6), and i am unable to use the copy feature. I captured several videos from work using a windows box and an application whose name escapes me at the moment. Due to the windows app being garbage, i was only able to capture in MPEG1 format (MPEG2 caused the app to crash, of course). I have brought the files home and am now unable to copy selections of it for exporting into smaller files. I can highlight lengths of the video (no audio, just video) but the 'copy' feature is grayed out still. Any ideas on what is causing this? The video format is as follows:
MPEG1 Muxed, 640 x 480
FPS: 29.97
Data rate: 4066.42 kbits/sec
I'm running 10.3.9, but have also had no success on a 10.4 macmini, so the OS doesn't seem to be the issue.
I'm trying to get this video into imovie, but since it's over 600 megs, imovie cops out after a few hours and says it can't import it.
Help? Not all multiplexed videos come with AC3. They don't have to have audio in the first place. Some of them come with Linear PCM, which is the case for iDVD's VOB files, and MP2. If a multiplexed video is equipped with AC3, you are right, and the resulting modified sub-clip won't contain audio. But if it's Linear PCM or MP2, the edited sub-clip will contain audio.
I'm finished with this case.

what extra steps, configuration and functionality needed be to changed in Oracle Linux Environment?
Regards,
ArvindHi Arvind,
Is this query regarding Azure Files Share feature?
If yes, I'm Afraid Azure Files is not supported in Oracle Linux 6.4.
However, a request has been raised with the Product group for this feature and they might consider it in the future.

[Solved] Unable to use all memory or unable to boot
I solved this issue by uninstalling the Nouveau drivers. So if you have both the NVIDIA binary drivers and nouveau installed and the computer doesn't boot past the UDev uevents line, try uninstalling the nouveau drivers.
Hello!
I've been having some problems with my desktop PC, and was wondering if anybody knows how to fix these problems.
First, my computer refuses to boot if I have my NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS in the PCIe slot. It boots fine into Windows XP and 7.
What happens is that the computer boots all the way to "Waiting for UDev uevents to be processed", where it locks up, ignoring keyboard input.
I found that if I booted the computer with the option mem=6GB added to the kernel boot options, the computer boots properly. (Yes, I know, 6GB should be 6G)
however, this reduces my usable memory to 4GB.
This is what dmesg says:
Memory: 4565500k/6291456k available (3312k kernel code, 1573636k absent, 151368k reserved, 1752k data, 472k init)
If I remove the graphics card, the computer boots as normal, and shows all of my 6GB of ram.
Here is my entire dmesg output:
Linux version 2.6.32-ARCH (tobias@T-POWA-LX) (gcc version 4.4.2 20091208 (prerelease) (GCC) ) #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Jan 7 22:28:29 CET 2010

As soon as I enter my user name and password for mobile me the process of "loading mail" begins. It never finishes
We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
Is the credit card registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, it was issued by a bank in your country and you are currently in that country ? If it is then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes support and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management
Each time that you add or change your card details then a temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid (though that is usually $1 or the approximate local equivalent) : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3702
Did your daughter owe any amounts to iTunes ? Does anything show on your purchase history : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2727 ? If they are proper charges which you don't think that you should have then you can contact iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption -
I AM UNABLE TO USE MY ADOBE SEND FEATURE. I RESUBSCRIBED BECAUSE THAT WAS THE ONLY OPTION GIVEN. MY CREDIT CARD INFO WAS DISPLAYED. BUT I M STILL UNABLE TO USE THE FEATURE. I DO NOT THINK IT IS TIME FOR RENEWAL OF SERVICE.
I'm sorry that you're having trouble with Adobe Send. I can confirm that you have an active Paid subscription.
Can you tell us what's happening when you attempt to use it?
Are you trying to use it from with Adobe Reader, or from a web browser (at https://cloud.acrobat.com/send)? Or from the Outlook Plugin?
The more details you can provide, the better I will be able to help you. -
Sometimes when moving the cursor the window size on certain sites reduces or increases. This happens randomly and I am not able to make it happen to change the size of the screen to my choice. The window on a particular site is now so huge I am unable to use features on there as they do not come into view on my window at all. Please help me on how to control this feature or in other words how do I increase or decrease the window size manually.
See "Resizing oversize window" - MozillaZine Knowledge Base

There are a couple of extensions tat could also be involved

In light of the most recent vulnerabilities identified in version 10.1.1 and the instructions in - http://www.adobe.com/support/security/advisories/apsa11-04.html
to use protected mode, I have informed my customers how that should be performed. However, I have at least one user that is unable to edit their document until they select the ' enable all features' function. Even after they do that, and the specific file is listed in the in the security (enhanced) > priviledged locations list, the user is required to select 'enable all features' every time for this file.
Can someone tell me a solution?>Where are you seeing the "enable all features function"?
