Unable to use Existing view after importing interface

Hi All,
1. I am unable to import View as Datastore from one environment to another environment as that is already present as a datastore.
This is the error I am getting.
ODI-23040 : Import File
xml Error
I agree this may be because this datastore is already present .
2. But If I am importing one Interface where this VIEW is used then it is giving ERROR(Created Missing References) st the time of importing

FYI - I am using ODI 11.1.1.6.3
       - I am importing all the datastores before importing the Interface.
       - Only where I am using view inside interface I amfacing this problem so I am creating the Interface manually in all the environments which is a time consuming work.
       - I am able to Import the Interface but with error and inside the interface the View datastore is coming as blank and showing missing reference where as inside models that same name datastore is already present.

check your model logical schema where view is reside , might be they are different in each environment.
and check SNP_MISSING_REF table in work repo to verify exact cause.

Is this 8MB "Boot" partition (formatted as FAT???) something you created when you partitioned this disk for the Windows XP installation, or is this an 8MB OEM partition that you've somehow assigned drive letter C: to?
I wouldn't be surprised at all that your error message is being generated because thsi "BOOT" partition, labelled as drive C:, is only 8MB in size, and you can be absolutely positive that an 8MB partition is going to generate this error: "Setup was unable to use existing system partition because it does not contain the required free space."
The correct answer really depends on whether that drive C: is the boot (sic) (the proper terminology is to call it the system partition) partition for the Windows XP installation. If it is, then you're going to have some repair work to do on your Windows XP installation first, so that you can free up that 8MB partition.
In any event, I'm fairly certain that the solution is going to require the removal of that 8MB partition, as you've suggested in your most recent post.

Unable to open folder view after loging in ID

Hi , I am using SAP PI 1.7, after loging in to Integration Directory I am trying to change my veiw to folder view , but receiving the below error, ay idea how to resolve this??

Unable to use existing credit in account

I have not been looged into my account account for a couple of months. I have unused credit siting there. When I try to make a purchase now it won't take it from my credit. It brings up the billing screen asking for credit card or to redeem an itunes card. Is there a way to refresh this credit?

"unable to open project file" after importing layered Photoshop file

After spending a day of work, I saved and closed my 720p project. Today, I can't open it. I get a message saying: "Unable to open project file." Same thing happens with the auto-saved copy.
I have narrowed down the problem to this: I made a new 720p project file. Without doing any work, I import a single layered Photoshop file (.psd), then save and close the project. When I try to open it, I get the message again: "Unable to open project file."
Works fine at home. What am I doing wrong?

I'm just now having the same problem, though I'm using FCE 3 . I can open older (NTSC) files. Just not new HD files that I have also blindly used alpha+Photoshop layers in. When I create a new HD file with a few HD clips in it and even use an audio track from the project I'm wanting to make, and use TIFF versions of the graphics and save it, it will open right up -- but something about these PS files.

ISE 1.2 unable to create guest accounts after import

Hi,
we are able to import guest accounts, but after clicking on "submit"-button nothing happens. So this is basically what we see:
There is no option to print the guestpasses. Is this a bug or are the guestpasses somewhere else? Furthermore there is no option to go back to main menu. We tried it on IE9 and in Firefox 25.0.1 we see even less after upload.

Unable to use Time Machine after Snow Leopard upgrade

This may be answered in other threads, if so I'd appreciate a pointer to them. I couldn't find an appropriate one in my searches.
I have a MBA and recently installed Snow plus the 10.6.1 update. I was having various issues and reinstalled Snow, leaving me at 10.6.0.
I had deleted some applications to free up some space, and decided to restore them with Time Machine (TM). The first time I opened TM, it seemed normal and I restored one of the applications.
Then my external drive where TM backs up to began to backup. Later I tried to open up TM and my desktop froze. After several reboots still had the same issue, I did a Safe Boot. Then rebooted as normal.
Now TM asks if I want to start backing up, net new. It doesn't appear to see the old backups anymore.

Ok, right after reading your response I checked the logs, and I got the following things that seemed relevant:
At the very start of the backup the following message appeared several times:

I checked the formatting of my TM machine partition and it did in fact did not match the formatting of my hard disk. I erased and reformatted it. I also excluded the partition from spotlight and from virus scanning. I tried to backup again. It went almost half way through when it hung and the entire system froze with it. I had to unplug and plug again, I could not even restart.
Once it restarted I looked at the logs, I kept getting the first part posted above, but not the second group of errors. The only other suspicious thing I found was:

Unable to use certain sites after upgrading to iOS 8.0.2

After upgrading (unintentionally) to iOS 8.0.2 I can no longer use certain sites that I regularly used previous to the upgrade. The bookmarked signon page comes up and is pre-populated with my userid and password. However the ipad does not respond when I touch the "logon" button on the screen. The screen is not responsive...almost seems frozen. This upgrade is useless to me if I cannot use these sites. Anyone else having these issues? Any solutions?

I do not have any issue in using Lync 2013 on my iPhone 6plus. Our corporate IT has solved the problem; I am not aware what all changes they had to do in the Lync server.

Any way to force Time Machine to use existing backup after inheriting?

The hard drive in my iMac failed last week, and a replacement drive as well as a new logic board were installed. I installed OS X onto the new drive and then used Setup Assistant to recover all data from my Time Machine backup. Of course, once everything was back in place, Time Machine wouldn't recognize the backup as its own (per Pondini's site, this is because the logic board replacement makes Time Machine think it's a whole new computer).
To resolve this, I issued the Terminal command to inherit a backup, but this wasn't enough so I also issued the command to associate a backup with the computer. This seemed to work, and I was able to kick off a new backup. Time Machine did a complete scan and determined that it needed to back up everything on the computer as new. Because there's not enough space on the Time Capsule, it then started deleting old backups, one after another, until I noticed what was going on and stopped it after a couple hours.
So my question is this: is there a way to get Time Machine to use the old backup data to do an incremental backup? I'm not sure why it thinks it has to save everything; I could see it saving a copy of the OS, since that was installed from scratch, but all the user account data has been restored from backup so it should match what's in Time Machine. If there's no way to do this then I guess I'll just delete the Time Machine archive and start over, but for versioning purposes it would be nice to have the old Time Machine archive data.

What happened is I needed to retrieve something from Time Machine prior to starting a backup (the first backup after restoring everything). However, Time Machine wouldn't connect to the Time Capsule, so that is why I used the tmutil commands. Probably if I had instead started a backup then it would have asked me if I wanted to inherit.
Well, if there's no way to avoid a full copy then I guess I'll delete the archive and start over.

Using existing websites after a reformat

Following a rebuild of my Mac I have reinstalled iWeb and a backup copy of the Sites folder containg my websites. I do not have a backup of any Library/Application Support folders or other 'System' folders. Will it be possible to get the websites back into the new installation of iWeb or do I have to start again?

Chapter 2.3 on the iWeb FAQ.org site has tips on using some of the existing files, image, audio, video, etc., from the published site in the creation of the new site. Also If you're carefull you can copy text from the published site and paste it in text boxes in the new site and keep the formatting.

Using existing backups after Mac Book Pro replacement?

I have been using Time Machine backups for several months and now much swap out my MBP. I plan to basically clone my user directory onto the replacement MBP. Is there a way to continue to take advantage of the backup history I have in place from time machine?

There's a much better, easier way. When you start up your new Mac, the +Setup Assistant+ will ask if you already have a Mac, and want to transfer your settings, users, apps, and/or data from it. There's a brief video towards the end of the Time Machine Tutorial

Yes, assuming your new Mac is running Snow Leopard. Go into TM Preferences, and select the old Leopard TM backups as your TM drive. When your first backup starts, you'll get a prompt asking if you want to "re-use" the backup or start a new one. Take the "Re-use" option.
Your first backup will, of course, be fairly large and lengthy (the new version of OSX at a minimum). In addition, Time Machine may very well do a new, full backup of everything, or, as a few folks have reported, say it will, and delete a lot of old backups, and take a very long time, but end up only backing-up the new version of OSX and a few other things. We haven't figured out yet just why it sometimes does one thing, sometimes another.

Anyone unable to use any apps after updating phone to OS 4.3.3

I just updated my iPhone 4 to the new OS 4.3.3. After the restart I couldn't start up any of the apps on my phone. Anyone have the same problem or know how I can fix this? Thanks!

Okies great, that will most likely be linked to an AppleID confliction, which should be a relatively easy fix.
First of all sign out of your AppleID on the device as mentioned previously. Within iTunes on the computer you sync with make sure you are logged into the very same AppleID. If this is logged in, connect up your iPhone and before allowing it to sync log back in under Settings -> Store.
When the phone is connected first of all we'll want to do a Transfer of Purchases (On Windows Right Click on the Device Name on the left, on OS X Ctrl+Click). This will transfer all App Purchases into iTunes (note an Apps tab will appear under the Library heading if so, listing all Applications).
Select the Device and navigate to the Apps Tab for the phone. Make sure the 'Sync Apps' tab is selected and select all the Apps you would like to Sync and then hit the Apply/Sync button down the bottom.
This 'should' hopefully force the Apps to respond correctly again

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP 1000 Notebook and issue with the WebCam not working correctly. Here is a document on troubleshooting the WebCam for Windows 7.
If that does not help I would uninstall the drivers and software.
Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system. If your system is not up to date this could cause issues with software and drivers.
