Unable to use headset button to answer call

Version = Skype for Android 5.7.0.13054Phone = Samsung Galaxy 4Headset = Plantronics Voyager Legend bluetooth I have the headset working OK with the phone and can answer calls to the mobile number by pressing the button on the headset, but have been unable to answer any calls to Skype this way.I have paid for a Skype phone number and would also like to be able to answer Skype voice calls from the headset, but have not been able to get this to work. I always need to answer the call from the phone - the headset works OK once I have done this.Has anyone managed to get a similar setup working so that Skype voice calls can be answered by pressing the button on the headset? Or, does anyone have any idea how to overcome this? Thanks Richard

Sometimes this revives those buttons.
With the battery and AC adapter removed, close the Power switch for 30 seconds.
Re-attach those, press the Power button to turn the computer on, and then immediately press the F2 key while the Toshiba logo is displayed. Press F9 to restore the BIOS default settings, press F10, and then select Yes (Exit Saving Changes). The computer will restart.

What are the setting in order to use headset with vontage softphone, caller can't hear me

have dv7 entertainment notebook with IDT audio. When I use vontage softphone caller can not hear me but I can hear them. Is there some default setting for the notebook that I am missing or is it a vontage issue?

I had the same issue. It was not being muted by my face (although sometimes that would happen). For me you could actually tap on the back of the phone and get it to work...but only for a short period of time.
I went through all the normal trouble shooting items... rebooting... restoring...etc. At the end of the day I took it into Apple store. They said they've had other people with the same issue and the best bet is to replace the phone while it's still under warranty. You have one year from purchase date unless you bought the extended Applecare.
I wouldn't bother with too much more trouble shooting...not since this is a known issue that others have had happen.

Centro freezing up...unable to use any buttons

My Centro freezes up and the only way to get it back working is a soft reset by taking the battery out in back and putting it back.....help? anyone else having same issues?

Welcome to the Palm Forums. This is most likely due to an incompatible 3rd party application. Here's a couple things to check.
1) Check the error log:
Open the Phone App
Dial #*#377#
This will give you the cause of the last reset (might not display anything since the device is freezing, not resetting. That's ok, I just want to check). If there is a message, post the whole thing here.
2) Check the installed 3rd party apps:
Open the Phone App
Dial #*#37789#
This will list all the 3rd party apps installed. Post the list here so we can check it.

My iphone 5 makes crackling sounds when calling using headset

when using headset to make phone calls or facetime, after a few mins or so crackling sounds can be heard from both sides of the call, ive tried various headsets and the same issue occurs, also tried a new sim card. this problem only occurs when using headset only.
i have been to apple and have swapped the handset but yet again the same problem.. i am not the only one experiancing this as ive read other forums n its a common problem. APPLE needs ro fix this asap

Prevent Agents from disabling Headset Button hen using Auto Answer With Headset

Help!!!
When you enable "Auto Answer with Headset" an agent can still press the Headset button and break that function. Is there a way to keep the agent from being able to disable the Headset button on the phone (Cisco IP Phone 7962g) while maintaining the ability to force Auto Answer with Headset??

Hi,
It sounds more like training or organizational issue. If agents do it accidentally, usually this behavior disappeas in a couple of days (if agents were using other phones). And if they do it on-purpose, then supervisors should take care for this issue.
Technically this issue may be resolved by placing some kind of plastic cap over the headset button, but then you should have a mechanism to activate a headset button, if it was deactivated (for excample, afther the phone reboots).
Alternatively you may use longer cord and place the phone out of reach (not exactly "far-far away", but at least out of the hand reach. Plus, depending on the CallCenter software you use, agent may never need touch a phone, in most cases all interaction happens on the PC.

I was having a similar problem but only when answering calls. A reset seems to have fixed it. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1430
If that doesn't do it you may need to contact Apple Care or take it in for repair.

I would like an "in the ear " type earphone that actually works correctly. I had a great pair from sony for my apple Itouch with a mic. I could use it to make calls using skype on WIFI, change the volume and skip tracks etc. When I tried it on the Droid X it would ahswer the phone with a push of the button but the mic was dead and the other party could not hear me. I tried a bunch including scullcandy from verizon store and Kliptch. On these, the mike would work but if you push the button on the mike it would not answer an incoming call or allow my to click the button to place a call using voice dialing.
I saw in an earlier discussion a plantronics headset that will work, but this is an over the ear and only mono. I want a nice set of earphones with noise isolation and a mic that will allow me to put the phone undercover, like when it is raining, and allow me to press the mic button to answer or place a call. Does this exist?   I want to be able to hear my phone ring in the earphone when out on my tractor, and then press the button on the mic to answer the phone.   Thanks

I cannot believe that with 175+ people reading this post that no-one has an earphone with a microphone that will answer the phone and work.   How about one of the VZW techs!!!!!
There must be an earphone with a mic that will work on this phone. If not then Motorola needs to do something about this problem.   Please provide some suggestions. -Scott

I am unable to use my bluetooth headset to record voice memos, is there a trick to this?

I have a Plantronics Voyager Pro+ Bluetooth headset, I am unable to use it to record voice memos on my Iphone 4, using IOS 6.1.3. The memos record fine when using the built-in mike but not the Bluetooth headset. Does anyone have any insight or comments that might help resolve this situation?

The steps below will help you in resolving this issue of your iPhone giving you a No SIM alert.
Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
Toggle Airplane mode On and Off.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Check for a carrier settings update. Tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, a prompt will appear.
Remove the SIM Card and verify that it is a valid, carrier-manufactured SIM. Also verify that it is not damaged, worn, or modified. Then reinsert it.
Restore the iPhone.
If you still are unable to resolve this issue, contact Apple support for further assistance.

I am trying to get the button actionPerformed to call the connect method. But I get this error message on compile:
