Unable to use phone browser on asha 311
I cannot connect to the internet using the phone browser. I have to download a new version of whatsapp but i cannot since i am not able to connect to the internet. I tried downloading with opera mini but i was directed to the phone browser and received "Can't reach the server right now. Please check your connection and try again.(006)"
Wi-Fi or 3G? Which network operator gave you the SIM?

Try resetting by pressing and holding the sleep/wake button and the home button for 10-15 seconds until the Apple logo appears, ignore the red slider. Then turn back on. You won't lose any data doing the reset.

I am unable to use the browse feature within the store on an iPad 1
The browse by author feature within the iBooks store will not show titles by author. When I touch an author's name the app does not pull up books it remains with the "Choose an Author" prompt.
We have the same problem and just use the search bar instead. We don't have the same problem on our new iPad 3. We did uninstall and reinstalled the new iBooks but still the same problem. Have you had any fixes?

thanks. the weird thing is, it didn't "recover" the phone at all. it simply said, "phone activated" when i plugged it in. -

I have iphone 5 with iOS 8.1.2. I cannot use my phone because of a pop up message asking me to sign into FaceTime, which I never use. It asks me for my password for an iCloud email address that I never use, either. IThen it tells me to reset it, which I do. i receive link from Apple to reset, which I do. Then I try enter the password on phone, but it doesn't accept it.

I have traveled to 12 countries with my iPhone and it always just jumps on the network right when I get off the plane. Whether im in the Eastern Block (Prague) or in Thailand. NEver had a problem.
Here I am in Rio De Janeiro Brazil and it says "No Service". It even lists 5 carriers, and when I click on one, it says "Your carrier is no longer available" for each.
Is there a setting buried somewhere that I need to have enabled for this to work, that I might have inadvertently disabled?
Do you NEED to have international calling enabled through AT&T for the phone to hop on a local network when outside the country? I know there are a few different tiers of international fee's. One is a discounted international plan, and I think the other just enables your phone for international. I could be wrong.Nevermind. Somehow "ATT WORLD CONNECT / WORLD TRAVELER" for $5.99 had been disabled on my account. I re-enabled it in the web site and that did the trick.

My 4s is locked on the iTunes screen. Rebooted it several times to no avail. I was in the middle of updating to the 7.1 and it shut down, then froze on itune
Follow Tim's advice. If you have any problems open iTunes on computer, connect iPhone to computer with USB Cable, hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, click the Restore button of iTunes on computer.

iphone 4s bought from a friend in Uk. phone unlocked. unable to use phone in thailand, is there anything i have to do to get the phone working. have put a AIS sim card in the 4s, it comes up, activation failed, carrier not supported. do i try another sim card from a different carrier, how do i find what carriers are supported on this iphone? do i need to take the phone to a shop for unlocking to this carrier? any info would be very helpful. many thanks
It seems as though the iPhone is not unlocked from the carrier. You need to contact the UK carrier the iPhone is locked to and ask them if they can unlock the iPhone as they are the only ones who can unlock it.

OK, so I'm clearly a newb. I thought if I asked a question, it would post, and now I'm being told to post a comment, so I'm asking the same question again. Sorry I sound like an idiot. I'm new to this apple/mac stuff.
Why does iTunes/iPhone 4S insist it can't find a song on my PC or my phone when it is on both? This is resulting in me being unable to use the ringtones I created from these songs, but I can still play the songs.If you have added the ringtone file correctly to iTunes, it will appear under iTunes 'Tones' library.
If you don't find Tones library in iTunes, go to iTunes menu EDIT/PRFERENCES under GENERAL tab, check the Tones Box under Library source to display Tones library in iTunes.
iTunes accepts only m4r file as ringtone and has to be less than 40secs. -
Unable to use free version regardless of browser on any machine. I login with adobe id but then the loading screen just hangs. can't get any further - Tried all suggestions like clearing browser caches but no change.
Got a couple of projects i wanted to try this on and if the software works I will probably take a subscription but considering this isn't working at all will look elsewhere.

I attempted to update my iphone 3 using itunes. I'm not certain but I believe I did a backup on my pc first. I am now unable to use the phone at all - the slide bar won't move and I have a camera icon next to the slide bar which is not responsive. I have tried to sync and even left the phone connected to the pc overnight. The phone is going flat within a couple of hours and won't stop beeping every few seconds and seems to be syncing all the time, even when disconnected from pc. I am fearful that I have lost all my contacts - nothing is working - can anyone help - please?
Try resetting it if you can: hold the on/off and home buttons until you see the Apple logo (ignore the off slider that appears first), then release. If you can't, try to connect it to iTunes, go to the Summary tab of your sync settings and click Restore to restore it. If that doesn't work you'll have to force it into recovery mode to restore it as outlined here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808.
You can check in iTune to see if you have a backup. They are listed in iTunes>Preferences>Devices. However, the backup may not bring your contacts back as contacts are only backed up as necessary to preserve the recent call and call favorites lists. -
installed the ios 7.0.2 update to my iphone 4, now it is stuck on a screen with itunes icon and power plug.

I am unable to use Muse in-browser editing. I have followed the activation instructions both in Muse and invited users. I'd keep trying the other way. You may have hit it when BC was doing an update or something. If it works one way it should work the other way. But sometimes BC can be kind of temperamental and you have to do a little dance or something to get it to work. But it generally comes around and fixes itself in short time.

I'm using PE10, and when i use text/animated text the video tends to jump/flicker during the duration of the text. I thought it might of ironed itself out when turned into a video file or uploaded to Youtube but it doesn't. This is a new problem.
