Unable to use student discount

I am still a student and have a valid student email address, but last month was charged $9.99 so I checked my account and it had removed my student discount and is now telling me I am not eligible for the discount. Help me I'm poor!

Hi lizzieg! One of the most common reasons for this occurance is there's been a change in your location, either in your profile settings as a free user, or in your payment information as a premium user. Could you make sure that all of your details are set to the same country for which your trying to get your student discount through (US/UK/DE)?
If that's all squared away as it should be, then:
Has it been about a year since you first signed up for the student discount?
Exactly what does it say when you try to re-apply for the discount?
Which country's discount are you applying for?
If you could let me know the answers to these, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Students unable to use Upload and Manage Files

Our students have been unable to use the _Upload and Manage Files_ function since last week. They receive an *Access Denied* message as soon as they click the link. Here is our debug page:

Resolved, yes, to a point. After doing some extensive reading, I was able to determine that our fatal assumption was that the podcast media files would be hosted by Apple. According to at least one source, Apple has not offered hosting to new iTunesU accounts since January 2009.
Therefore, the reason we did not have a button for "Upload and Manage Files" is because there was no place for us to upload them to.
I have successfully attached feeds from both MobileMe and Podamatic and we are in the process of setting up our OS X Server with Podcast Producer. We will host the feeds locally and make them available through iTunes U, blogs and other channels.

Well, all that matters is the school papers. Whether or not you use the software box as a door stop and nail the DVD to the wall as decoration is entirely up to you nor does the EULA exclude commercial use...

Apple has different Academic Discount policies depending on the country in question. AFAIK, in the USA you need valid proof of academic status in the form of a student ID from a recognized school. Click on the Education Store link to enter the section with academic discounts and type your school info to start a session: http://store.apple.com/us

I just ordered Abode Creative CLoud with my student discount, it says the payment went through but I cannot download the product.

It the site crashing? It says try again or ask customer support.
If it matters I bought it last year and then uninstalled every program (Windows 8) and I am re-installing it, with the student discount I now have.

I got the email for the coupons but the coupon says its only wirht 50.00 and expired in like 7 days. Why is it not 100 like it was in 2014? will it go up after the exparation date?

From personal experience, it was very handy to have a computer of my own during my college years. Goodness knows I could have really used the discount that College Student Deal coupons provide, so I’m glad you were able to sign up and take advantage of them.
While your coupon may soon expire, we do periodically provide new ones throughout the year. Please know though we’d be unable to disclose the deals offered until they are available for all participating in our program, nor can we guarantee the same coupon will be available at a later time.

Student Discount, Double Charges, and Mediocre Support

I have been using spotify for quite some time now. I have paid my fair share of 9.99/mo, and quite frankly, I don't mind paying money to avoid someone or something blaring obnoxiously in my ear every 45 seconds. The one thing that did, and still does, irk me beyond words was when I attempted to sign up for the $4.99/mo deal for twelve months, I was not given the 4.99 rate for a full twelve months...but that was a while ago, and I had since gotten over it...until... Today I attempted to renew the 12 month $4.99 deal and was not only charged once, but twice; both charges appear on my bank statement and not at all on my Spotify Account Receipts. It gets better, though...I wasn't even given the promised upgraded features, and after reading some fine print (lovely) I noticed that I could reuse this offer 4 times (just as long as I am still enrolled in my accredited university, which I am). So, after realizing that Spotify doesn't have a support number, but rather a bulletin board and more-or-less a system to send complaints to, here I am, posting, hoping that I can get reimbursed the money I was charged. The student discount must be renewed each year.
You need to first cancel your current Premium, and once you revert back to Free, you may resubscribe to the student discount.
Now for the refund, you might want to contact support directly here so they can help you. Keep in mind they will decide your eligibility for the refund.
If you receive an automated email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.
Support usually answers within 24-48 hours.

Is it at all possible to still get the physical cd's for the CS6 from the adobe website with my college student discount?

I am currently a college student studying photography and my college gives us a free download of Adobe Creative Cloud Master Collection, but once we graduate it will be deleted from our computers. I graduate in May. I am trying to use my student discount to get the the CS6 Master Collection while I still can, but I would like to get the physical CD's to download the programs, and not the Creative Cloud apps simply downloaded over the internet. Is this still possible at all?

Meagancon it is likely you will be entitled to receive a download. You are welcome to download and burn the installation files to a DVD.

Is there a student discount for Photoshop CS6?

I am slightly confused about this, looking for an answer on my own I went through this process:
I found the page for the Creative Suite 6 Products, and on the right side it says "CS6 or Creative Cloud? If you want all-new versions of your favorite creative software — including Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC — join Creative Cloud. If you prefer the previous version, CS6, you can purchase it here. For upgrade eligibility and purchasing options, see the Creative Suite 6 FAQ."
So, I went to the Creative Suite 6 FAQ, where I saw the question, "Does Adobe offer education discounts?" with the answer, "Yes. Qualifying full- or part-time students, faculty, and staff of accredited educational institutions can purchase Adobe products at a reduced price." So, I poked around on the checkout page for Adobe Photoshop CS6, but there seemed to be no way to apply an education discount. I then clicked the Purchasing FAQ link on the checkout page, next the Education FAQ link, and from there the student and teacher product catalog under purchase options, but Creative Suite 6 is not listed in any form. The only options presented on the page are Creative Cloud Membership, Photoshop CC, Photoshop Lightroom, Creative Cloud Photography Plan, Photoshop Elements 13 & Adobe Premiere Elements 13, and Photoshop Elements 13.
Is there another spot with other student discounts, is the CS6 FAQ misleading and there's not really a student discount for CS6, or am I missing something else?

Student discounts are only available for college and university students. Proof of enrollment is required when you place your order. So, yes, you will have to wait until you have officially enrolled in a university or college.

If you are able to get a discount, you will not get it through the regular Apple Store. You must use a special URL that gets you into an Education store where the prices are all listed lower. But they might only give you discounts on Apple hardware. For non-Apple products like Microsoft Office, you might have to go through Microsoft directly or ask your school if they have an arrangement with Microsoft.
You can look up your school here, and if your school is listed, it will let you through to the education store:

If you want a definitive answer, the best place to ask is at your school, since they're the ones who make the arrangements with Microsoft and Apple.
