after downloading new version of Firefox 4 I am unable to use touch pad for scrolling. I have tried installing and uninstalling the new version but this problem has always been occuring. I do not know how to fix this problem so I always return to the old version.
If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop
* Firefox 5.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
* Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
* Install the new version that you have downloaded
Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data.

There's a not enough storage message appearing and I can't get rid of it.
There's a not enough storage message appearing and I can't get rid of it.
A reset may help: Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off button at the same time for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons and await restart.

Hold Sleep and Home buttons for 10 seconds until the device restarts, so you will be able to use the iPad again -
Got new iPad 4 a week ago and it's saying not enough storage and when I go to tap on settings nothing is happening and I won't switch off!
If your device is frozen and unresponsive, reset it by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release.

Grey color cover the screen and can't use touch screen when trying to open the internet.
Pleas help, yesterday when I tried to open an website on my I pad 2 and there was a grey color cover the screen and I can't use touch screen, i still can see the internet is working in the back ground of the screen and the webpage was opend but I just can't make the grey color screen disappear. Thanks million.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Cache. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If that doesn't work, reset the iPad. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Last thing to try is quit the app and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit Safari by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on the Safari icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -
Switch control settings - prevented from using touch screen
I have turned on switch control and now managed to lock myself out of usdiong the screen all together.
Heres what i set: Settings > general > accessibility > switch control > switches > add new switch > full screen > scanner select item.
with switch control turned on i cannot use the screen at all.
i have tried asking sir to turn it off but he keeps saying "which setting" and triple clicking the home button brings up the switch contol header up but i am still unable to use the screen.
i have read that i can turn on voice control by asking siri, but that brings up a screen where i need to again use the screen.
occasionally i see a blue box travel oer the screen but i dont know how to use this or how to bring it up again.
has anybody got any ideas???Found it.
For anyone who has this problem::
check this video http://youtu.be/2W3Z0kSiL7o
If you somehow turn on "Screen" select item, it renders any touch useless.
Here's what you can do, even if you have your phone password protected.
Use Siri to turn on Assistive Touch.
1. Hold down home button and ask siri: Turn on Assistive Touch
2. May have to send a second command: on.
Now your screen should be accessible.

I cannot use the bottom part of my touch screen. It would not respond to any of the touches I make. Is the screen broken or have I stuffed up my settings? I want to be able to type on my iPhone
Basics from the manual are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. If you've been through ALL these steps and you still have the problem, you'll need to bring the phone to Apple.

I received a message stating Not Enough Storage. This iPad cannot be backed up because there is not enough iCloud storage available. The touch screen will not let me select settings to correct this. I did purchase more storage via my iPhone, but I still cannot get my iPad working.
Try this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
"Actvation Required" appears on screen.Touch screen disabled.Resetting is not useful. Was in the hands of my 5yr old grandson. What to do?
Place the iPod in Recovery mode and connect to your computer and restore via iTunes.
For how to restore see:

You might try a forced shutdown to begin with, hold down the top and home buttons together until the device shuts down, then restart it. -
My iPod touch screen just turned a white-ish green color and I can't turn it on or off. I can't connect it to iTunes, and the back is too scratched up to see the serial number so I have no way of getting it. Can someone tell me how to fix it? Please tell me quickly! I was right in the middle of something!
Did you try a reset?
