Unable to validate my serial number for purchased version of premiere elements will not connect to internet even though my connection is ok
i have purchased an official copy of premier elements 13. i have my serial number etc but when i go validate my sign in throgh my internet connection nothing happens. its a nightmare !! I cannot even find out how to generate a rerquest code for offline valiodation. clicking on "generate response code " does nothing. I have jjust spent £79 on this product. will someone please help. ther is nothing wrong with my internet connection.

Thank you so much for your common sense reply. I contacted Adobe via their online chat help facility. One of their tech guys resolved the issue by re-setting the Hosts file. Now I have seen this in the forums and it basically involves making a back-up copy of the Hosts file deleting certain entries and applying again.. Thankfully this worked for me. But I would urge Adobe to look into this matter as there are many novices I am sure will be extremely frustrated at what should be a straight forward approach when validating their software. Most people would know there internet was working ok and most people would be able to disable anti-virus software etc, but to continue getting a failure to validate a serial number online would in my opinion beggar belief !! for most technically minded folks out there. Most annoying.
When anyone purchases legacy software from Adobe, no one wants this kind of problem. The software is not cheap.
My purchase was Adobe Premiere Elements 13 and it is a great piece of software for video editing. I can however recommend it. It is very good for both novice and professionals

I bought the CS6 Design Standard student and teacher edition over amazon. I activated the product on my adobe account and got a serial number. But when I install the package and enter the serial number I a message saying "We are unable to validate this serial number for Creative Suit 6 Design Standard. Please contact Customer Support."
Does anyone know what is up with this? I am sure that the problem isn't anything along the lines of making mistakes when typing in the serial (tried it multiple times, used copy paste to reduce chance of error). It's also not any problem with me lacking an internet connection adobe to validate the serial.Serial number questions can't be handled on the forums. I received my serial number online and went through the installation process. After it was successfully installed I wend to open Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and followed the prompt to enter my serial number and then received this error message "We are unable to validate this serial number for Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. I have run PremierePro_6_LS7.exe and, having specified load with serial number, reached the point of entering the serial number.

I have checked my account and the license is on file.
The serial number is 24 digits in 6 groups of 4 characters.
Please provide an answer to this.

Good question. Here is my take on this.
Adobe is not selling Premiere Elements 11 anymore. It is now selling its current version Premiere Elements 12. And, its free tryout download from Adobe is for Premiere Elements 12. And, no problem purchasing a serial number for version 12 from them.
There should be no problem in trying out the Premiere Elements 11 as per the installation disc that came with the Photoshop Elements 11 purchase. But, when it comes to purchase of Premiere Elements 11, the only scenario that I am seeing is
Find an authorized reseller who still has Premiere Elements 11 stock. Purchase that product. And, then you have 2 choices
a. insert the serial number that comes with the purchased Premiere Elements 11 into the tryout already installed on your computer
or
b. uninstall the tryout, install your purchased Premiere Elements 11 with the serial number that comes with it.
A typical place that might have a Premiere Elements 11 in stock is Amazon. Have you looked there?
You could contact Adobe for input on the matter, but I suspect that you will get steered to purchasing Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12.
