Unable to video call

I setup a Skype account for both my wife and I and set it up on our IPAD's however when I try to video call the other account we can not get the video portion of the call to work. Any suggestions ?

what re you actually seeing after you login to Skype? for the meantime, please be advised that the video call option will only be available if the contact you want to video call is currently online.

I have Aakash ubislate 7ci tab with android ICS 4.0.4 and i am not able to video call. Before i was able to when I used to get the option to enable video soon as i install skype. after new update i am only able to audio call. There is no video call option. however i can see a cross mark on video but when i tap on it, video does not enable whereas as mic gets enable/disable then speaker also gets enable/disable when i tap only video it doesnt activate. I already have latest version but no use with video.

Unable make video call in lenovo a6000 plus

Recently I bought lenovo a6000 plus from flipkart. But I am not able to make video call from this phone or any apps like WhatsApp, IMO, skyppe etc. My sim is 3g and I have 3 g data pack also I m in 3g network area. So what's the problem? Is it phone's problem or something else. Also when would be lollipop update will be released for this phone? Please reply soon.

Turns out this may have been caused by having multiple IP addresses on one NIC
Find some error message by the
Lync Server 2010 Logging Tool.
Also Check your configuration is set according to Microsoft best practices with
Best Practices Analyzer.

We have installed CUVA 2.1.1 software and the VT-II camera installed perfectly fine.CUCM version 6.0 and Presence 6.0.1
Also get the camera Icon on the IP hard phones as well.But unable to place video calls video calls both with CUPC clients and IP hard phones locally on LAN.
Able to launch and see the local and remote image as same on my own system.
Any thing else that I would need to check or missed out any checklist ????

Thanks for the info actually the problem is locally I am not able to place video calls.
When I click on the video check option both the local and remote image are the same as the local image.
Please suggest for placing local video calls within a single cluster what all needs to be checked.
Here we are trying to place video calls IP hard phone to IP hard phone,CUPC to CUPC ,
IPC to IPc.

I am having this same issue on my Macbook Pro Early 2011 running Mountain Lion. I try and use Facebook video chatting as I usually would, and although the other person can see me, what I see on my end is a still picture from their webcam that is often flickering between what my own webcam is picking up, and it continuously flickers with static lines (picture an old TV getting bad signal).
Skype is also behaving strangely since I upgraded, although it's flip-flopped (Skype is not letting others see me but I can see them)
With both Skype and Facebook, audio is having no issues.

CUPC 8.6.1 Video Call In Deskphone mode

Hi,
We have Presence Server 8.5 and CUCM 8.0 in network.
CUPC 8.6.1 is installed on user laptop and CIsco 7942 phone is configured for user. User laptop also has camera.
User is able to make video calls using CUPC in softphone mode.
However user is unable to make video call using CUPC in deskphone mode. The video call option on CUPC in deskphone mode remains grey and cannot be selected. What can be reason for this?
Please help to resolve this issue.

In CUPC server health it is showing error in Video Desk phone - as CDP uable to detect IP Phone.
However my phone is directly connected to laptop.
how to resolve this issue?

Mac 10.6.8's video calls not working! Please help!

I have the most updated version of Skype available for my computer, Skype version 6.15. For the past few months, I've been unable to use video chat or file sharing. I can receive some files, but cannot send files. Other people can video chat with me and I can see them, but they can't see me. My built-in camera works just fine for other purposes, so I know it's not an issue with my camera. I've also noticed that a lot of Mac users seem to be having trouble with Skype lately. I've checked my audio/video preferences for Skype and my computer's camera preferences, and everything is as it should be. Does anyone know how to fix this?

In addition to these steps, I recommend, BEFORE emptying the trash:
Go to: [User]/Library/Preferences (hold the "Option" key when clicking "Go" from the Finder menu to reveal the hidden Library folder)
Trash the ENTIRE Macromedia folder from there
Aside from that additional step, follow the rest of the instructions to the letter and you should be back up and running.

Facebook video calling / chat does not work after windows 8.1 upgrade / update from windows 8

I originally had windows 8 where facebook calling was working fine.
I upgraded to 8.1 (Single language), since then I am unable to see the Facebook video calling button.
Facebook videocall button disappeared in each profile.I tried firefox, chrome but all ended up the same.

Making video calls on skype

hi,I'm unable to make video calls on skype, i have a trust 17405 webcam, the trust drivers for this cam cause my pc to crash, without the drivers i'm still able to get a video image on trusts diagnostic tool on their webpage.i'm using a pentium 3, running win xp sp 3, the skype version is 7.5.0.102can someone please give me some help resolving this issue?

Even if your camera works outside Skype it will not work in Skype. This is because a processor requiring the SSE2 instruction set (Pentium 4 compatible or above) is required to use video in any Skype releases since Feb 2014. Since releases of Skype that old have been retried you will not be able to use video at all using that computer.

BSOD when on Skype Video call

So I just recently started to get frequent BSODs when on a video call. I believe it has to do with my Logitech webcam, because I can Audio call (No video at all) with no problem, but if I turn on the camera, a few minutes later, i just randomly get the BSOD.

Issue with Video Calling

I recently bought a Kindle Fire HD and I downloaded Skype. My boyfriend also has Skype for his Samsung Galaxy Note. Whenever we try to use video calling the audio works fine but we can only see a black screen, unable to see each other and cant even see ourselves on the screen. Has anyone experienced this before? And what did they do to fix it?
