Unable to view a domain on all browsers on my computer only
This has me completely confused...
I am trying to view a web page via a domain name. Let's say it's example.com.
When I go to this domain in ANY browser on my MacBook Pro, it comes up with the default web page that was on the server when I set it up. This is really wierd because that file no longer exists on the server.
If I attempt to go to a subfolder on that domain, I get an error that it's not found.
If I go to this domain on my iPhone or iPad, the content is displayed correctly, and the subfolders are accessable.
This domain is an addon to another domain. We'll call that one www.maindomain.com. If I enter example.maindomain.com as the url, the content is displayed correctly, and the subfolders are accessable.
This domain is going to be used with a Facebook canvas. When I set the canvas target to example.com, I get the incorrect page, but when I set the target to example.maindomain.com, it works as in the above examples.
I have tried clearing the cache on all of the browsers
I have tried clearing the DNS cache via Terminal with both dscacheutil -flushcache and sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
I manually deleted the files in ~/Library/Caches and /Library/Caches
No idea what is going on, and not sure what to do next. As far as I know, it is doing it only on this one particular domain. Any suggestions?

Try use iDVD to add dvd menu and burn from iDVD you shoud then read dvd on dvd player with no problem

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

* Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
In Firefox 4 you can use one of these to start in <u>[[Safe mode]]</u>:

I have deleted my photos but have icloud. when i log into icloud it doesnt give me an option to view these photos at all. my photo stream is only showing photos from another iphone in the house. i am unsure if i do a restore from back up if this will work. i really dont want to lose these photos but i am very unsure of what to do to resolve. can anyone please help?

Your photo stream is not available when logging in with your iCloud account with a browser on a computer.
Why were the photos in the Camera Roll deleted?
Photos/videos in the camera roll are included with your iPhones backup. If your iPhone's backup has not been updated since the photos were deleted from the camera roll, you can try restoring your iPhone from the backup. -

You do have the Flash player installed according to your More system details list, so Flash should be working.

I'm unable to load certain websites across all browsers on a MacBook Pro
Suddenly I'm unable to load certain websites (sundancechannel.fr, sundancechannel.tw, etc.) across all browsers—Safari, Firefox, Chrome—on my new MacBook Pro. Other computers on the same wifi can access those same sites fine.
I either get a won't connect to server message or a blank page.
Any idea what's going on?

that HTML content shows that there’s no content at that Web site — it will only show the heading “301 Moved Permanently” and the single line “nginx/1.2.6”. I suspect that they might have wanted to include a redirection directive in that document, but for some reason, they didn’t. Your browsers are behaving as they ought to do with this Web site.
Have you considered trying www.sundancechannel.fr in your browsers instead of sundancechannel.fr? -
Unable to view purchased domain names.
I thought I would start here first. I have several web sites that I have done for clients using iWeb and then purchased a domain name from 123cheapdomains.com. After I did some text editing with iWeb on one of the sites I can no longer get to the site. I can get there using the long iWeb URL but not the official one. This would lead me to believe that this must be an issue on 123cheapdomains.com site with a forwarding problem? I need these sites up and just thought I would post incase anyone else was having any problems.

In your forwarding setup, make sure to only submit your short iWeb URL.... http://web.mac.com/yourdotmacname/
This way, you can make changes to your webpage (adding pages, etc) and not have to worry about your forwarding changing. What happened is that you have your domain name forwarded to a specific page URL probably, and that URL has changed and is not invalid.
With your short iWeb URL, you can always be sure that people are forwarded to your default start page as set in iWeb. So go back to your domain forwarding setup and change the forwarding URL to your short iWeb URL.

Hi, I'd like to sign up for the clound account and have access to flash CC + flash builder + photoshop etc...
My questions are:
1. I am buying a mac but I use pcs a lot:
a. Are the files compatible between the two platforms
b. Do I have to download all programmes to only one pc - so then I would have to choose mac or pc
c. What if my computer breaks - do I get a copy of flash CC for example and then reload it...
CheersFinding someone with that version of Flash still installed would be pretty rare. I think the license relaxing between Win and Mac alone make it a good business value. As long as you don't need AS2.0

Please connect your device to Nokia Suite and reinstall the current firmware from the updates tab. If that does not do the trick, please fully back up your data (Tools > Back up). And hard reset device: type *#7370# on the keypad. Default lock code is 12345.

I have hundreds of .mod files which are supported but I am unable to view them on my Adobe Photoshop Elements 11. I cant see the picture icons as pictures or see the vision when i select them? I am running the latest Windows 8.1 PC with heaps of Ram and memory. If I import the files into Premiere they play fine?

I checked and my graphics driver and audio is all up to date.
No sure how to verify Windows Media Player's hardware acceleration options. I opened WMP Options /Perfformance tab and under Cd the DirX tab is checked.
Running Windows Vista - so does the same caution apply regarding a re-install of Windows Media Components and DirectX ?
Appreciate your help with this somewhat frustrating issue. I am converting some old 8mm film to avi with the hope of doing some edits then burning to DVD.

i have the latest version of free Quicktime, Itunes and unable to view video on my PC all i get is a pink screen the audio is OK i have uninstalled and installed several times same problem, i have a Iphone 4 and unable to view the content.
Open your QuickTime control panel (either via the Control panels, or by going "Edit > Preferences > QuickTime Preferences" in the Quicktime Player). In the Advanced tab, uncheck Enable Direct3D video acceleration:

Can't locate email content? All of a sudden my email content has disappeared from inside MacMail? The actual emails are coming through but I am unable to view them in the content area! Nothing has been done to have changed this?

This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2. -

Wild guess:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Nav Bar disappears in live view and in all browsers
Hello all,
I have an issue I haven't had before. I created a navigation bar right under the header. After adding my text for the links, I checked in all browsers and each time, the nav bar disappeared, leaving me with just the words. Also the font changed back to the page default. I solved the font problem by creating images using the font I want and now I get them all to show up, but the nav bar is still missing even though it is always there in Design View. Here is my code so far. The CSS is below the HTML.

Am unable to view recent History older than 1 day since removing "All Previous History"
I am unable to view any previous history older than the most recent 10 items, since removing "All Previous History". Before removing "All previous History" I was able to view history from, Yesterday, Last Week, last Month etc, but all I can get now is the last 10 items of history.
