Unable to view all folders within exlpo

I have a Zen Sleek player and I have 4 main folders under the root directory. I am able to see and play everything just fine within the player but when I go to view the folders within windows explorer I only see of the 4 folders.
I have performed the disk clean option which re-built my music library and rebooted my PC and it still is not working.
It takes a long time to copy all the files over and create new playlists so before I end up re-formatting my player I am wondering if anyone can give me some help on fixing this.

There's not much you can do unfortunately, a disk cleanup is about it, short of the format.
Presumably you're using the MTP firmware?

Wild guess:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Unable to view website from within network - OSX Server

I have recently set up a Mac mini server in my home. I have configured the DNS settings manually by creating a primary zone being my domain and then a machine record (A Record) in order to configure the right host name. I've checked this the usual way in terminal and it returns success.
Before I go ahead and configure my mail, I noticed that I was unable to view my website. From within my network on any device.
NB. My website is hosted externally with a third party.
I have Mac Mini running Mavericks 10.9.1 and Server 3.0.2, I'm using a 2TB Time Capsule as the router which plugs directly into my fibre modem. Ports are opened correctly as I have done this through the Server App panel where I can see my Time Capsule.
I've obtained the IP of the website and when I tried pinging it from terminal it cannot resolve. I've contacted Apple, and after 2 hours on the phone to them, I've been told it's out of the scope of their support.
If this is DNS, can someone help, because I'm pulling my hair out!

I have now figured this out!
After setting up the hostname in the Server app I auto created the DNS records.
I have removed them all, created a new zone, the zone being my domain name; I have then created a Machine (A) Record being my hostname; I have then created another ***BLANK*** Machine (A) Record being my domain, and hey presto, everything works perfectly.

Unable to view custom folders (SQL)

I've created an sql folder in "The Discoverer V5 EUL" BA.
Desktop users are unable to view and use reports based on the sql folder, although complex folder are available.
also, sql folders on other BA's are available
can someone advise?

Try creating a view in the DB with the sql query, make a folder out of it and see if it works.
My guess is that the tables that you refer in the sql query might not be available in the schema of that particular BA.
Or are all your BA in the same schema??

When I try to set a default for viewing all folders using the view options, it fails to apply this view to all folders. What am I doing wrong?

I open the 'view options', select the mode of viewing I want, click the 'always open in' and push the use as defaults button... this, by all accounts, should work to apply this mode of viewing to ALL my folders and subfolders... yet it does not.

I've had to work on this a little before it "stuck" to my preference; it appears that if you open a folder within a folder and set the option, it will apply to that and any within that, but not up a level. So you need to make sure you have it set at the top folder level and you have it set like this:
Also, if you have a folder in the dock, you will need to either control click it or - in my case I want column view - you need to Command click the folder and it'll open in column view. I've not liked this "feature" since it was changed in Snow Leopard; previously, you could just click on the folder and it would open the way you had it set.

HT2954 Unable to view original folders in Apple Mail.

I've recently added my hotmail account to Apple Mail but I'm unable to get the different folders that I created in hotmail to show up in Apple Mail. I was wondering if there is any way to do this.

The IMAP protocol replicates folders but the POP protocol only downloads the contents of the server's Inbox to the clients Inbox. Hotmail does not support IMAP - it only supports POP.
Options:
1 - Use Gmail - it supports POP and IMAP
2 - Move all messages (via web or other means) to the server's Inbox to download via POP protocol
IMPORTANT:
Some POP clients have default settings which delete from server without warning either initially or a few days later - typically 14 days. Find these settings and adjust as required.

Inbox and Drafts show unread message count of all folders within. Can I get the local folders to do this too?

I'm filtering mail into folders in the local folder tree. There may be two or three levels, e.g., Local Folders -> Lists -> OS -> MacOSX. Mail that is unread in the MacOSX folder is counted and displayed when the MacOSX folder is visible. However, keeping the entire tree on display is a nuisance and it is long, so I don't see things ate the bottom. I have to scroll to reveal the rest of the items in the folder tree. For these reasons I'd prefer to have the folder tree in its minimal state.
Is it possible to have the the top level folders display an unread message count for all the enclosed folders?

when I collapse the folder tree of local folders, it shows the unread count for sub folders.

Unable to view *certain* folders on a USB disk shared by Airport Extreme

I have a 1 TB FAT32 formatted USB drive shared over an Airport Extreme (firmware 7.4.2).
A few days ago I was reorganising media files on the hard drive. I created a subfolder in a folder called 'Movies' and copied a couple of VOB files into the subfolder. Suddenly, the entire contents of the 'Movies' folder vanished. I unmounted and re-mounted the shared disk on the Mac (browsing to the base station in finder and clicking eject). I am able to see all other top level folders and other files on the shared drive, but the 'Movies' folder is empty. The Airport logs indicated a problem with the volume, so I disconnected the drive from the airport, plugged it into the mac and ran disk utility to verify the disk. No errors were reported.
Here is where it gets interesting.
1) When I plug the USB drive into my Macbook Pro, I am able to mount the drive and browse all the directories, including the Movies folder - all my files are still there.
2) If I plug the disk back into the airport and mount it on the mac, the 'Movies' folder appears empty.
3) The hard disk usage reported (both in the airport utility and in finder) is consistent with the 'Movies' folder still being there, however the Movies folder shows up at Zero bytes in 'Get Info'
4) If I open a terminal window and cd to the mounted hard disk, 'ls -al' reports no files. However, I can 'cd' to a sub-directory of the Movies folder that I know exists, and 'ls' shows all the files in the sub folder!
I can even copy files in the 'Movies' folder to another location if I know then name - but 'ls' cannot see it, and neither can 'du'
5) I attached the drive to a Windows machine and ran chkdsk and even did a surface scan - no problems reported.
I'm stumped. Has anyone seen this wierd behaviour before? The disk is fine when mounted directly on a mac or windows machine - but when mounted and shared via the airport, the Movies folder is not visible, though it is definitely there!

The 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn) supports USB storage devices that use a block size of 512 bytes ... and is true whether the device is formatted for HFS+, FAT16 or FAT32. If yours is not, then it may explain why you can see the folders when the drive is directly attached to the Mac, but not so when connected to the AEBSn.

But when i open the pdf in my web application(i.e Microsoft Internet Browser..) it is just showing few tool bars, but i need to load all the menu bars so that user can use all the menus which is available for adobe professional. When viewing a PDF in a web browser, one is using a special plugin for the web browser to read PDF files. I have the same problem when I have an Excel file opened in a web browser, there is no Excel menu bar or toolbars. You might be able to add some JavaScirpt to the PDF to display the necessary tool bars.
I always wondered why they call these internet viewers browsers.

Restrict user to view All folders in WebI

Hi,
I am using BO4.1, we have many report folders. We want to restrict users to have view access to only one specific folder.
Users dont have rights to view reports of other folder.
Please guide me steps to apply this restriction.

Hi Sonal,
I think the problem is with the Access level for that particular user.Just check whether the rights are not inherited from any group.
OR
You can try following steps:
1. Recreate the user.
2.Go to that particular folder which you want to grant View.
3.Right click and go to user_security -> Everyone -> select the user -> View security -> add principle -> available access level -> grant "view/full control" whatever grant you want to assign.
Now he can only view/modify that particular folder.

View all folders "as list"

Whenever I open up a new folder it shows all the contents as icons, and I have to change it to list view.
Does anyone know how to make the default folder view "as list"?

Considering that the Windows file browser defaults to Icon or Column view I'd think you would be most used to that. You can set Column view as the global default using the Preferences selection from the Finder's Finder menu.

Unable to view all photos in Aperture library

Only the last upload of photos are viewable. Photos are on a Lacie external HD as is Aperture. It does list the 407 Projects, 39512 photos but thumbnails of the events are blank. I checked the Photo Filter and all boxes are unchecked.
Any suggestions?

What is your Aperture version?
Photos are on a Lacie external HD as is Aperture.
Do you mean you have a referenced library, and the referenced originals are on your Lacie drive? Or is your library managed and the whole library is on the external?
Does "as is Aperture" mean, that your Aperture application is also on the external?
How is your external drive formatted and how is it connected?
39512 photos but thumbnails of the events are blank.
In what way "blank" - do you see dashed outlines, or are they black?
Are your original image files raw or in another image format?
Do you have a current backup of your Lacie drive?

Unable to view all columns in Spool

Hi Gurus,
I executed an ABAP ALV Grid output and selected "List" from the menu bar and chose to create a spool with the X_65_1024/4 format. My report output is about 275 characters wide. So when I go 2 SP02 to view the spool, I can see the output truncated at 255 characters.
I do not mind the actual print getting terminated at 255 characters, but at least when the spool is displayed to me, I want to view the entire report.
Can you help me?

after selecting the Spool press (SHIFT+F4) it will display report with full columns and rows...
