Unable to view edited jpeg photos on a Panasonic TX-42DT50B TV

I have photoshop elements 13 and am unable to view edited jpeg photos on a Panasonic TX-42DT50B TV; however unedited photos are OK.  These photos also display correctly elsewhere. Does anyone know how to overcome this problem?

Difficulty editing photos in my photo book in IPHOTO 11.  Double-clicking and nothing happens...any suggestions?

Are you able to edit other photos in the library? Try this basic froubleshooting fix:  make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
         User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
         User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto.  You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
If that doesn't help launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library.  Import some photos and check to see if the same problem persists. If it doesn't then your current library is damaged and needs to be repaired:  make a temporary, backup copy (select the library and type Command+D) and  apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #1, followed by #3 and then #4 as needed.
    Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
    Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

  • How do i edit jpeg photos from iPhoto in Photoshop CC?

I just downloaded Photoshop  CC on to my new iMac.  Most of my photos are in iPhoto.  I have the iPhoto program setup to open Photoshop CC to edit the pictures.  However, I got a message that CC cannot open jpeg files.  That has to be a mistake!
Can someone help me with this?

Photos transferred from your computer via the iTunes sync process or removed from the iPhone n the same way. To remove all, deselect sync photos under the photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes followed by sync.
Why did you delete photos in the camera roll?

  • NMH405 - Unable to view any files using the FIle Browser

    Hello,
I logged in to the FIle Browser, hoping to delete some photos from my media hub. However, I am unable to view any music, photo, or video files on this page, nothing listed. All blank when I clicked on these 3 folders.
No problems accessing the actual files in their respective pages. I could play the music and video files, and view the photos. But I can't carry out any maintenance on them via the File Browser.
Checked the User Guide, but couldn't find any clues to this problem. Could someone please help me?
    Thanks!

    Hi there,
Files that were imported and stored on the Import Folder won't be detected on the NMH File Browser. You may only see them if you manually classify the files to it's corresponding folder.
It means, you need to move the files based on their file type. AVIs, WMV, etc. should be placed on your Videos folder .. Mp3s, Wavs, etc. should be moved to the Music folder .. Jpgs, Gifs, etc. should be moved to Pictures folder ..
    Hope this clarifies your concern.
    Cheers!

  • How do I view a single photo on photo stream? I'm trying to move a photo from my phone to my desktop.

Each time I try to access, unable to view a single photo--only the entire stream. Thanks

To view a single photo just tap the one you want to view from the thumbnail view in the Photos app.  Then to send it to your Mac, tap the share (arrow) button on the bottom left, tap Mail, then send an email to yourself, open it on your Mac and save the photo attachment.

  • Viewing and Importing photos from iPhone to iPhoto'09

Since updating to IOS 5.1, I am unable to view or import photos from my iPhone 4 in iPhoto'09 on my iMac running OS X, v 10.6.8. Can anyone help?

Your question is probably better suited for the iPhoto forum for iLife applications. This forum is for the iPhoto application for iOS (iPhoto on your iPhone or iPad).
    https://discussions.apple.com/community/ilife/iphoto
If you repost your question there, it might be helpful to let everyone know exactly what has gone wrong. Does your iPhone not appear in the list of Devices? Does it appear but no pictures are available? It seems it used to work before you updated your iPhone to iOS 5.1... Have you run the Software Update on your Mac to make sure your copy of iPhoto is up-to-date? I have iPhoto '09 8.1.2. and I can import pictures I've taken with my iPhone 4 (iOS 5.1) into iPhoto but I'm running Mac OS X 10.7.3 (Lion).

  • Unable to view recent photos on my Mac in PSE 11 organizer

unable to view recent photos on my Mac in PSE 11 organizer ..I see them in Iphoto not organizer..Please help

On import, iPhoto copies photos into its library, which is proprietary to itself and should never be poked and prodded from outside iphoto or you run a strong risk of corrupting the library and losing your photos. So you eventually need to choose between iphoto and organizer.
If you want to use iphoto, then you have two choices:
    1. Set PSE as your external editor and send the photos from iphoto to PSE, edit them, then save without changing the name or format (you may need to adjust the pse preferences>saving files>on first save), and iphoto will remember your last edits and the orginal. However, you must to lose the edited version to use the original again, and this method doesn't work well with raw files.
    2. Export the photos from iphoto to the desktop, user File>Open in the editor,  edit the photos, make all the changes to name and format that you like, save the photos and import them back to iphoto as new files.
Or if you decide you prefer organizer, set the this iphoto preference to No Application and you can call up the photo downloader from within organizer, or just drag the photo with the images in it from the card to wherever you want to keept them:
and of course you don't need to user either iphoto or organizer unless you want.

  • Cannot see full view/edit photo but thumbnail ok

Hi. I have recently imported a load of photo's and have found that when I click on a thumbnail or select full view or edit the photo appears briefly & then disappears. Don't know why. I have followed the advice from Apple (although it relates to iphoto6 & I using iphoto8) plus a suggestion in the discussion forum about deleting the iphoto.plist from my preference file. But this has not helped.
    Any advice would be grateful.
Please note that the above only relates to a an import I have recently done. The old 'events' etc work fine. Also the photo's that disappear from the recent import appear to only be ones that are full 6x4 ratio... when I have cropped them (previously in photoshop) they do not suffer from this.
    Thanks,
    Paul

Not sure the big-endian/little-endian thing is the problem.
I went back to the original image, which was little-endian, imported it to iphoto and it displays the same behavior. Here's part of the exif info:

  • Finding photos on my MAC and Editing JPEGs in Aperture or Photoshop

    Hello all!
This has been a great forum and I have learnt tons of information.  I'm a recent convert to MAC computers and I have been working with Aperture 3.  Whenever I upload images from my camera to my laptop, it automatically uploads into Aperture 3.  Now I am having trouble importing select images into Photoshop CS5.  When I go to Finder and select pictures, there is an icon titled "Aperture Library".  When I click on that it opens Aperture and I can view all my photos in the folders I created.  How do I export a single photo into Photoshop for editing?  How can I view my photos in folders without opening up Aperture?  I'm used to being able to do this with my PC, so I assumed the MAC would work in a similar fashion.  I assumed that instead of the "Aperture Library" icon, there would be folders and subfolders corresponding to the folders and subfolders I created in Aperture.  Please help!!
Also, my camera only shoots JPEG images (no RAW).  Is it true that I can't edit JPEG images in Aperture...or at least this is not recommended?  This is what I have read, as I will degrade the image quality.  It appears, though, that I can edit the JPEG images in Photoshop CS5, correct?  I'm at least able to edit the pictures using the "Camera Raw" feature in Photoshop, from what I have read.
Thanks in advance for your help.  I've been scouring the internet for answers to no avail.  If you feel another post answers my question, feel free to link the post in your response.
    Thanks again,
    Mike

Thanks Ernie.  Your reply was much appreciated and what you said clarified a few things.  I did watch several tutorials about Aperture 3 and they stated that there is no point in editing a JPEG in Aperture.  Basically your camera is already compressing (or reducing the quality) of the image in order to convert to JPEG, which is obviously a smaller size than RAW.  Therefore, when you make edits to a JPEG in Aperture, you are again compressing the image, and reducing the quality even further...potentially to unacceptable levels.  Is this not true...at least for someone learning photography editing / manipulation.  My goal is to make something look good to the average person...I'm not trying to win any awards here.  Does the same hold true for photoshop? Put it this way....I'm an aspiring amateur .
Also is it possible to view your photos outside of Aperture...somewhere in the Finder menu?  Aperture is my default program...when I plug my camera into my laptop, Aperture opens up and all my photos are imported there.
I was thinking of buying a point and shoot camera that also took RAW photos.  Just with all the money I've spent this last six months (macbook pro, logic studio, aperture, photoshop, akai mpk25, external lcd monitor, and krk speakers), I'd rather stick to my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH22.  Wow...it's going to be hard to look at my credit card statement .  At least I have 0% for 18 months!!
Thanks again.  Any additional input is appreciated.

  • How can I share/view/edit all of my photos in iPhoto on iMac with iPhoto on MacBook Pro?

I have all my photos stored on iPhoto '11 on my iMac.  I have a MacBook Pro Retnia with iPhoto that I would like to be able to view these same photos on. Is this possible?  If so, please let me know how?
Also, if possible, can I edit and/or download photos to one computer's iPhoto and have them updated (sync) with the other computer?
Finally, how do all of these photos with edits, etc relate to what I see on my iPad 3rd generation and iPhone 5?
Thank you, in advance, for your assistance.

To view your library on another computer on the same network, you could use "Sharing". Set the iPhoto Preferences to share your entire library or selected albums:
Also, if possible, can I edit and/or download photos to one computer's iPhoto and have them updated (sync) with the other computer?
iPhoto Libraries cannot be synched between computers. If you want to have the libraries on both computers identical, you need to use the same library on both machines. Store your iPhoto library on an external disk (formatted MacOS X Extended (Journaled) and plug the disk into the mac you are currently working with. Don't put the library onto a network drive - that will be a very sow access and may corrupt your photo library.
To add new photos/events to iPhoto your other mac you can use the Photo Stream.
Finally, how do all of these photos with edits, etc relate to what I see on my iPad 3rd generation and iPhone 5?
You can only sync one iPhoto library with each OS device. If you sync a device alternately with each computer using iTunes Photo sync, the albums synced from the other photo library will be replaced by the new sync.

  • Unable to view all photos in version 8.1.2. Can only see last 18 month.

Unable to view ALL photos in V 8.1.2  Only able to view past 18 months.

    Wild guess:
    Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

I took two photos using my iPhone 4 on Saturday. Both the pictures appeared on my iPhone fine. Then when I looked at the photos on Sunday, the thumbnails has been replaced with a grey/white image with "png" on it. Now I cannot view the photos.
